I hired Randy to fix a leaking second-floor shower drain about 2 years ago. Randy removed the old drain and ABS pipe and installed a new drain and ABS pipe. Everything looked good to me and Randy was very nice to work with. Unfortunately, about 15 months later, the leak reappeared. I tried to contact Randy to have him come back but he was hard to reach. About 6 months ago, I finally got him to reply to a text message where he said he would "try to squeeze me in", but that was the last I heard from him. I had other plumbers in my house for other issues, and each one noticed the still-exposed drain pipes waiting for Randy to fix, and they noticed that the ABS pipes were sealed with a white substance instead of the black ABS cement required by code. It looks like Randy did the original repair of my drain not to code and has abandoned me when the repair failed. I paid nearly $500 for this fix and am now thinking of filing a complaint with the California State Licensing Board. I would advise you to avoid using Randyman Plumbing for any work, unless Randy decides to step up and take responsibility for his mistake. If he does, I will update this review. read more

I moved into a new place. The previous owners must have been seriously disturbed. The first plumber came with my home warranty company and he pulled out disgusting blue paper towels, baby wipes and incredibly, human hair and hair extensions. He couldn't finish the job, and left. Turns out the clog was cleared but he didn't complete the job. He left a mess. I think $1000.00 for less than an hour's work is extreme. He scammed me and makes a million excuses. Randy was hired to fix a leaky toilet. According to the emergency plumber, he used old parts evident by the paint and algae on them. His "repairs" failed almost immediately, flooding my entire downstairs and caused over $35k in damages to my house. Randy claimed somebody snuck into the house and switched the parts to sabotage him.
