I can't tell you how many other companies just sent over a brochure with their pricing with no follow-up. In speaking with Josh, he was very consultative, and also just a very pleasant person to talk with. After comparing a few other photographers, we landed on Storytellers because of their beautiful editing style, and we knew we would be in good hands with experienced professionals. We worked with Anel for our engagement photoshoot, and she was a complete gem. My husband and I are not picture people, and she was able to get us comfortable in front of the camera. Those pictures turned out beautifully. For the wedding, we worked with Anel and Andrew for photography, and Marilyn for videography, and I cannot stress how amazing it was to work with all of them. I was a bundle of nerves the day of my wedding, and not once did I have to worry about anything not being captured. If anything, being around them helped ease our nerves a bit, because they were all so nice to be around. We went with a full nine hour package, and by the end of the day, it felt like we all had gone through a journey together. Weddings are wild. The photos turned out beautifully, and we cried the first time we watched our video. I sure wish he had more review sections on other platforms because he definitely deserves the exposure. So let's start with the elephant in the room. Don't let the beard scare ya, he is as professional as they come. The day of the wedding they were there early taking pictures of the venue, the groomsmen and the bride/bridesmaids getting ready. I (the groom) was late . They took some very beautiful pictures throughout the day. But the highest praise I can give him is his easy going attitude. You see, I've been at other weddings where the photographer is actually scolding the couple because THEY are ruining HIS shot. Photographers who are adding to the stress that is a wedding instead of helping the couple enjoy the evening and capturing memories. Bill is nothing like that. You tell him what you want and he will go out of his way to capture it. He got all 8 of the little grandkids to sit still long enough to capture this beautiful picture. Goofy faces he made to make it happen didn't even cost extra! We were incredibly fortunate to have met Bill and have him shoot our wedding. Not one single 8 x 10 to frame of my son out of 400 pics. Instead of asking guests to smile and take their picture he shot candids, taking a drink, or looking away, the tops of bald heads. I could have put Kodak cameras on the tables. During the big day, you pay professionals to do the thinking, keep in contact with you, remember what shots have been done. So many people and shots not even photographed.

My wedding videographer completely fell short of professionalism, communication, and delivering on her contract. Her contract stated that videos would be delivered within 60 days, yet it took over 110 days to receive anything close to what was promised. She missed her own deadlines at least seven times, each time with a new excuse. Communication was poor throughout the process, and it became clear she was not being truthful about her progress or intentions. The wedding highlight video she eventually sent was late and had issues. The sound was off, and it contained random footage of a desert--not even from our wedding day. On top of that, despite advertising drone footage, she didn't use a drone at our wedding. Three months later, she showed up at our venue (without notifying us) to get drone footage, which obviously wasn't from our wedding day, and she added that into the highlight video after fixing the sound. While the highlight video turned out cute in the end, it wasn't authentic to our wedding day, which is incredibly disappointing. We also NEVER received our fully edited videos as promised. After months of excuses, being blocked, ignoring our demand letter, and given so many chances to solve this matter amicably, I am now having to take Carly to small claims court. I consider myself a very patient and understanding person, but this experience was beyond unprofessional. It was heartbreaking to trust someone with such an important day and be let down so completely. While I can give credit for the highlight video being nice in the end (besides not having the drone footage from our wedding), it doesn't excuse the lack of integrity and communication, missed deadlines, breach of contract, and missing our footage we paid for. If you're a bride considering Carly at CineDream Studios, please consider my testimonial. I would hate for anyone else to feel the way I did throughout this experience. He was more like a guest than a photographer, so our guests were very comfortable around him, allowing their true personalities to shine through.
