Horrible experience. Walked-in to do some laundry. When I walked in, four girls were doing laundry. I dropped some money $275 on the ground and before realizing, one of the girls there picked it up, gave it to another girl (whom I think is the owner) I'll have to go back and ask for camara footage to confirm exactly witch girl claimed it was her money and walked out. No one mentioned anything, until I asked some of the girls. Be careful with this place, extremely dishonest people. Even with a room of what seemed like good women just doing laundry. read more

Super unethical business practices. They have no prices posted anywhere. I dropped off two sets of sheets, two bed blankets and one duvet cover and it was $420. After saying how ridiculous this was they dropped the bill to $320. Horrible experience. I would never recommend going here. They do not spot treat, they take terrible care of your things and they are very overpriced. When discussing the price they charge, they responded "it is Carmel". Way to rip off the people of Carmel! They wouldn't even provide an itemized receipt. I guarantee if you ask for the price up front, you will choose to go elsewhere. For these prices they should be ironing the items too. This spot should be your last option. It's 25$ to wash and dry your clothes! I had three smaller loads 1 blacks, 1 whites, 1 colors, that's 15$ to start off. 24 min later we head over to the dryers and dump another 10$ into the dryers. Get this: .25 cents gets you 4 min! These dryers take 1 min to get up to temp so you get 3 min of heat! But this will drive you bonkers, the dryers stop and take a break every 30 seconds!!!! Yep! They stop spinning your clothes every 30 seconds and they just sit there doing nothing for a 3-5 second count! I've never ever seen that and never ever heard any specialist are laundry service ever talk about the secret benefits of paying for 4 min of dry time but getting 20 seconds of nothing and that's 20 seconds EVERY quarter! You'll need on aver age 10$ of quarters to dry 6 loads which is only 3 loads of laundry all split into two dryer loads in an attempt to dry the clothing for less time and money. Most dryers run the entire time you pay for and most dryers are 8 min for a quarter. This place is double the rate and here is a sign they know it's priced high, ask for quarters with a 10$ bill in your hand and the attendant will slide a cup filled with quarters across the table. Yep, they preload 10$ in quarters into little recycled laundry lids making perfect little cups to transport the 10$ it's going to cost you to dry your clothing. They are the only laundry mat in town but it's almost the same price to drive over the hill find another laundry mat, treat yourself to lunch, do your laundry and fill the gas tank and there's a good chance the sun is shining over the hill instead of being in the fog. In short : this facility is pricing itself out of existence as soon as people realize the laundry experience feels better else where. read more

I took my bathroom rug in to be washed and dried. All the other local laundry mats usually charge me around $20 for this rug. I was shocked that this place charged me $50. Will not be going back! read more

I love this place, it's always clean, the prices are better than Carmel Laundry and Martha who works here is a bright, happy presence while waiting for your clothes. There is also a spotless restroom on-site for those washing clothes. It is located in the Rancho with many places to shop, get coffee or eat while doing laundry. read more

Cleanest laundromat I have ever been to. The worker there was so pleasant and helpful. But be prepared to spend at least double what you usually pay for coin laundry. Small load washers start at five dollars and the dryers do not get hot... Even on the high setting. You'll grow through a ton of quarters trying to get your laundry dry. read more

Clean, and machines are in good condition. A little higher than I'm used to paying but it's super convenient and I did my grocery shopping while washing my clothes which was nice. The parking lot is large enough for my RV. There are regular washer ($4) and double size washers ($8). Drying is $.25 for five minutes and the dryers can handle a large load. My washer and dryer stopped working at home and I needed to do some laundry before they could be replaced. This was my first experience in a laundromat at all and I was a little apprehensive coming here because of the reviews BUT I am very pleasantly surprised. The lady working was extremely friendly and helpful even when I asked stupid questions about how things worked. She was all smiles and great service. The place is also impeccably clean. Very outdated and rude owner. Soda vending machines is out of order, no snack vending machine, no TV, no background music playing. Apparently paying customers are not allowed to use the outlets either. The owner unplugged my stuff and looked at me angrily like if I just slapped his momma. I don't know if it was because I'm younger (early 20s), a person of color, or because I just came in for a small load, but I think it's ridiculous not to let a customer use a singular outlet while they sit in a silent, hot, laundry mat with not drinks or snacks. I was just trying to charge my stuff while I had to sit there waiting for my laundry. In a cleaning industry where laundry mats and cleaners are everywhere, customers service will always be most important. Definitely not giving this establishment another cent. read more

Everyone left really bad reviews of this place, but it's honestly not that bad! I normally go to sudz in pg, but this is much closer and decides to give it a try. First off, it's cash only. I walked in and spotted the owner, he looked at my large bucket of laundry and advised me which machine to use. He walked me over. He explained how to use the machine and swapped my cash for quarters. He isn't super warm, but he was helpful. He walked around the laundry room, but it was because he was doing loads for the company as well. The machine ate some quarters, but before I went to get the owner, he walked over and helped me. It's a little pricier than Sudz in PG, but much closer. They also ask to please not wash ped bedding. Sudz has a designated washer for this...but this laundry place didn't. This is without a doubt the worst place ever. They do a service where they wash large items for you. They quote one price and never write it on the receipt then hold your items hostage when they come up with a different huge amount. Nasty attitude and just a huge rip off. We had never been to the laundromat and the attendant was very helpful explaining and showing us the entire process. She was even present with us as we were about to leave and searched the tubs to find clothes left behind. We never had experienced so much kindness. She refused a tip although she certainly earned one. We had five large loads. Also the place was spotless. I would highly recommend it. read more

Where do I start? He didn't even let me throw way a coffee cup in "his garbage container" This place is operated like a third world cleaner in a country that has zero resources. This laundry facility is awful !! All laundry is done in cold water. The attendant said she would call maintenance but never did. There are very few washers. My clothes were taken out of washers and left on otherside of laundry mat. Nothing gets clean in cold water. I will never go back to this business. It is dishonest and just bad business to lie to the customers. read more

It smells like a sewer in there. The machines are old and rusty. And overly priced here. Plus the owner stalks you around the whole time you're there and watches you like a hawk. Came in quarter till three and immediately comes up to me and says we close at 4. Okay buddy it takes me 23 to wash and 30 to dry I'll be out before then. For the second time, this business overcharged for a load of laundry. Communication is difficult with them, and they'll try to overcharge.... but,if your order is straight-forward, this should be fine for you. They do a decent job with cleaning the clothes. :) read more

I agree with previous review. This place is a rip off. I used their fluff and fold service where they charge $1.75/pound (25 cents per pound higher than I pay at Laundryland in Menlo Park) then on top of hefty charge they charged $12 extra for "douvet" cover which is exactly the same fabric as my sheets. I had to spend almost $60. The same amount of laundry at Laundryland is $45. I asked where their extra charges were published and the guy looked at me like I was crazy. I will report this to better Business Bureau as well. I will not return to this establishment. read more

This place is great. I'm not sure what the people are upset about. My wife and I dropped our clothes off here after a week and a half in the national parks. We stopped by on a Sunday morning and they had our clothes done by 3pm. They were separated by clothing style and gender. Highly impressed with this place. $2.50 per pound was with it. read more
