I received a call today from the owner asking me to take down my review because it was misleading. I was stunned. Original review - I'm leaving three stars because the dry cleaning is great. The reason I am writing this review is to warn people to not take alterations here. I thought this would be a one stop shop, but they completely ruined my satin skirt. I took it in with the request of a small hole repair, and the person who did the sewing completely ruined it. I am attaching photos of the before and after. I intend to talk to the owner this evening to see what they can do. I truly cannot believe how bad it turned out. I could have done a better job myself.

I picked up 20 shirts that day - am I supposed to take all shirts out of the plastic and inspect them all that night and then return the ones they didn't do right? I can understand if I was a new customer but 20 years worth of business. I told them I wouldn't be coming back and taking my business elsewhere....no response. They may be the cheapest place in town but after years of being okay with shirts not properly laundered and broken buttons, I am done. This spot should be your last option. It's 25$ to wash and dry your clothes! I had three smaller…read moreloads 1 blacks, 1 whites, 1 colors, that's 15$ to start off. 24 min later we head over to the dryers and dump another 10$ into the dryers. Get this: .25 cents gets you 4 min! These dryers take 1 min to get up to temp so you get 3 min of heat! But this will drive you bonkers, the dryers stop and take a break every 30 seconds!!!! Yep! They stop spinning your clothes every 30 seconds and they just sit there doing nothing for a 3-5 second count! I've never ever seen that and never ever heard any specialist are laundry service ever talk about the secret benefits of paying for 4 min of dry time but getting 20 seconds of nothing and that's 20 seconds EVERY quarter! You'll need on average 10$ of quarters to dry 6 loads which is only 3 loads of laundry all split into two dryer loads in an attempt to dry the clothing for less time and money. Most dryers run the entire time you pay for and most dryers are 8 min for a quarter. This place is double the rate and here is a sign they know it's priced high, ask for quarters with a 10$ bill in your hand and the attendant will slide a cup filled with quarters across the table. Yep, they preload 10$ in quarters into little recycled laundry lids making perfect little cups to transport the 10$ it's going to cost you to dry your clothing. They are the only laundry mat in town but it's almost the same price to drive over the hill find another laundry mat, treat yourself to lunch, do your laundry and fill the gas tank and there's a good chance the sun is shining over the hill instead of being in the fog. In short : this facility is pricing itself out of existence as soon as people realize the laundry experience feels better else where.
