Well, there's a lot I could say about this place. They do offer alterations, but the seamstress is only there at certain times, and sometimes she doesn't come in at all -- which is frustrating and why I'm writing this review. On top of that, I was really disappointed by the behavior of some of the other customers. It seems like in this town, a lot of elderly people feel entitled to cut in front of you even when you've clearly been waiting. It's as if their time is more valuable than anyone else's. Honestly, it feels like a pattern you see all around town, and it even shows up here at the dry cleaner. The entitlement is just exhausting. read more

I took my bridesmaids dress in to be altered two weeks before the wedding. I went in put the dress on they tacked it up, both lining and dress. I went to pick up the dress when it was ready the gal handed it to me and I walked out of the store figuring I did not need to re-try it on as they measured it so it should be fine plus I had to go to the wedding that same week so I wouldn't have had time to get it re-altered anyway. The morning of the wedding I put on the dress and the lining is altered however the dress still has 2 inches of fabric. So I had to wear it like this dragging all over the ground I tripped over it several times walking up the aisle so I figured I would just go in and ask for the alteration portion refund only because I did have them clean and press it. The owner of the store basically blamed me for not trying on the dress before I left the store and told me that the alterations person did the job the way I had asked for it even though he was not a party to the conversation or trying on the dress. Also took all my credit card information and wrote it down on a card including my expiration date and security code and told me that the alterations person would be back in on Monday. If they can't be trusted to alter my dress according to the measurements that I was in for I absolutely was not comfortable with him having a card with my credit card information on it so I asked for that back and told him I will never ever use this company again. be warned. It's one thing to not own your company's mistake but then to blame the customer? Completely inappropriate- I will never do business with them again. read more

This is a new set of owners and he is always cutting corners. So beware. I walk but daily and here customers arguing constantly.

I brought in 5 items that needs simple hems. I had already measured and pinned them. They gave me a receipt saying it would be $43.50. When I picked up it was $91. No discussion, apology or acknowledgement that they lied to me. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. read more

not happy situation I gave them a rather expensive wool blanket to dry clean. They had cleaned it before but this time they washed it. Ruined. They claim they dry cleaned it but it is pilled and the tassels are knotted. Crossroads took no responsibility. I cannot replace this beautiful blanket as I bought it up in the cape cod area. DO NOT USE THIS CLEANERS! They ruined a $350.00 white silk blouse. The blouse is now "light tan with streaks covering the outside!" I took the blouse to two other cleaners, and was informed that the discoloration and streaks was caused by the cleaner using dirty cleaning fluid, which is from other customers bodily dirt! I retuned twice to discuss the situation with the husband and wife/owners. Both times they began shouting at me telling me that, "the blouse was never white," "it was inferior silk," "that it looked that way when you brought it in." I should show them the family photo where everyone was asked to where their best white shirt! I will post a photo as well. read more

The worst cleaners I have ever ever experienced. I took in a dress with a small spot - and specifically asked if this is a problem.... No problem they said. I would have tried at home with cold water, woolite, etc... Of course - spot is still there - and he tried to blame this on me! Horrible customer service. I left the dress, as it is ruined. I took an expensive orange silk dress to be cleaned when I picked the dress up it was covered with white fuzz balls, the clerk was very nice, but told me that the dress was flawed and the white fuzz balls where in the fabric - untrue! This was a result of the cleaning process. I like to support local business, but would never use them again. read more

I've been going to this cleaners since they were in the "old" part of the shopping center between Longs and Safeway. This is the best! The woman who usually waits on everyone is friendly and efficient - the clothes are done perfectly and the laundry (that is sent out) is usually done well. Whenever there might be a problem, it's taken care of with no charge and no interragation of what I might feel is wrong - it's just a done deal! The alterations man is unbelievable. If there's a question he calls before doing anything and that is most appreciated as I measure things at home and he has to take my word for it. CC has improved in all areas over the years and going green has been one of their major accomplishments. Also, as with everything, prices go up but somehow this cleaners has managed to keep themselves competitive without making the customer feel overwhelmed about any price increase. read more

WARNING: THEY WILL RUIN YOUR MOST PRECIOUS ITEMS!!!!!! This was the WORST experience I have EVER had as a customer. EVER!!!!!! We made the terrible mistake of bringing my $5,000.00 wedding dress into this incapable establishment and trusted the owners words assuring us that they were completely capable to handle such delicate fabric (ivory silk organza). Upon pickup we were devastated to see that the fabric had turned yellowish and had completely lost it's structure. It was wrinkled, ripped, the material completely frayed, AND they didn't even get the minor dirt off of the train. Aside from a few dirt spots on the bottom of this dress, it was given to them in PRISTINE condition. And we were returned a worn out tired version of the dress. The owners had the audacity to tell me and my mother and a witness we brought into their shop that this is how we brought it to them. They called us liars and insulted us. They have completely ruined a keepsake I had hoped to save for my daughters and refused to take any responsibility. Not to mention they still charged us!!!!! I tried twice to get my women's shirts done here. They charge extra, as everyone does, since they "do them by hand." I get them folded and boxed for travel. The first time I got them done, I had to re-press each one on the road. I asked them to be extra careful this time, but it came back wrinkled again. The gentleman said it was my fault because I wanted them in a box. I have been getting them in a box for 30 years, and my husband's shirt was not wrinkled at all. Clearly they had thrown my shirt on the same press as my husband's and charged me double. When I told him I would not pay for that, he made a personally insulting comment to me that was truly inappropriate. There are too many cleaners in town. They do a bad job and are arrogant as well. Worst consumer experience hands down. My wife and I had taken two cashmere blankets in to be boxed and vacuum sealed for our newborn as they were very expensive blankets and of course a keepsake for the future. We took the blankets in September 8th, 2011 and went to pick them up today December 19th and were told they needed to order the boxes........really? Over three months later? We were originally told 2 weeks, but were travelling hence the 3 months to pick up. I took them as is, so a "real" dry cleaner who could finish this incompetent dry cleaners job. The best part is, they still charged us $42.00 for NOTHING! please keep in mind this is the owner I am working with. I have never taken my suits and or shirts here on word from others, as I wear only Brioni and couldn't imagine what they would do to $5,000 suits and $500.00 shirts? I did however think that 2 cashmere blankets we're pretty hard to screw up, right? Simple.....vacuum seal them and put into boxes. Stay away and drive the extra 10 minutes to anywhere but here.
