We ordered the bread balls and crispy rice to start. The crispy rice was my favorite! We had steak as our main with fries and sweet Potato. I would suggest trying the fish, our neighbors ordered it and it looked delicious (also confirmed very tasty!). We had the green margarita, wine, espresso martini and an affogato for dessert. Everything including the service was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this place for small or large parties.

The walk from the entrance to the restaurant itself is gorgeous with lush greenery, and the restaurant feels like an extension of all the surrounding natural beauty. In terms of food, we started with the hamachi strawberry crudo and crispy rice bites (with tuna and caviar). Both of these dishes were so delicious -- the hamachi crudo was fresh and light, and the crispy rice bites were decadent especially with the addition of caviar on top. Then, my husband and I shared the signature short rib with a side of truffle fries (which are shaped like the filmstrip fries at Disneyland if you know what I'm talking about!). Both of these items were solid and the short rib was super tender, though I wish the fries came with more aioli on the side. Finally, since we were on our minimoon post-wedding, the staff gave us a complimentary panna cotta dessert to celebrate! The gesture was very kind, but the panna cotta itself was a bit too stiff and not as soft as I would have liked.

The space itself has real personality: exposed brick, framed portraits of aristocrats with dog heads on the walls, and a couple of TVs built into ornate frames just looping a crackling fireplace all day. Great 70s/80s soundtrack running the whole time too. Farm-to-table breakfast with genuinely clean ingredients -- huevos rancheros and avocado toast with a poached egg were both excellent. And the shrimp omelette had a red sauce that send the flavors over the top. The drinks are the real headliner though. I had them make my espresso martinis with reposado tequila instead of vodka, and it completely elevated the drink. My friend Kandy would usually start with an espresso martini too before moving on to their lavender martini, which became her go-to for the rest of the weekend. We also had a Carajillo done tableside, flambé style -- a full 3-minute production of lighting it on fire and pouring it back and forth before serving over ice. Genuinely one of the coolest drink presentations I've seen. Eneas took care of us all three days and was fantastic: warm, attentive, clearly loves his job. Alberto was great too. Bartender Rigo made every drink perfectly, tequila swaps and all. You can tell Chef Anna runs a tight kitchen and Jefe Calixto keeps the whole place running smoothly. It was a pleasant outing though it was a 49 minute ride from the port to their trailhead. Raul and Hector were our guides and did a good job explaining the operation of the bikes and how the group would be broken up. It's definitely a social ride and no drop with stops to get the two groups back together. I was hoping for a little longer ride on the beach but with recent hurricane activity those sections had to be cut short. The lunch buffet, tequila tasting, margaritas and unlimited Dos Equis was a nice post ride plus. For me it was a nice break from the ship.

They helped orient us to the e-bikes and helped us when we were having trouble staying steady on the bikes, especially on the loose sand. We also did a second tour the next day with the camel experience. It was very nice. We got to take pics with the camels and take a ride on them to the beach. After both excursions we had a Mexican lunch that consisted of mole chicken, ribs, rice, beans, salad, veggies, watermelon, fries, fried chicken tenders, cheese tortillas, beer, margaritas, tamarind water and hibiscus tea. At the end of the e-bikes we had a brief tequila making session at the end with tastings of tequila. After the camel experience we got a tutorial on how to make a corn tortilla like they did back in the day and tequila tastings. We got a chance to buy pics but it was super expensive. The first day we paid $60 to get pics and a video of the excursion. Today we paid more than 3 times that amount for pictures and video after the camel excursion. I asked why and they said it was a different event so the prices differed. If pics were not expensive as they were, I'd say this was a top tier event. I am thankful Malibu Farm is a dining option (there are only two other restaurants on property). The food is good in quality and the service is great (as with everywhere else at Nobu hotel). What I wish they would fix some minor things. 2 scrambled eggs is $4, but a little cheese in those eggs? $3.50. Ask for filtered still water, get served bottled water at a $11 price. Look at menu online, show up and get a printed menu with increased prices. This is a nice restaurant, but probably not when it's twice a day for a week. Update: added a star to the previous review because the manager Gustavo went out of his way to make the rest of our visits the best they could be.

However, the resort is so peaceful and beautifully designed that we were perfectly happy staying on-site and enjoying everything it had to offer. The atmosphere is simple yet elegant, and the entire property has a calm, relaxing feel. Our room was spacious, spotless, and serviced by housekeeping every day. The staff was wonderful, especially Fernando, our local ambassador. He was amazing, attentive, and extremely responsive throughout our stay, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We visited in September during hurricane season, so the resort was quiet and relaxing. There was plenty of space around the pool, and we never had trouble finding available seating. Overall, Nobu Hotel Los Cabos was the perfect setting for a beautiful and peaceful birthday getaway. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.
