Horse rental.

Rancho Carisuva is a rental tour business for ATV and horseback riding. They're located off the I-19 highway of Cabo San Lucas, BCS. It's entrance is on the dirt road with little to no sign. We were greeted by staff. We arrived on (April 17, 2023) Monday afternoon and signed rental waivers adventures. Instructors were very helpful, patient, informative and knowledgeable. Their ATVs were modest but it does it's job. The dirt course were a mixture of simple to rocky steep routes. These ATVs were tough to manage on rocky hilly areas so just FYI. However, you'll be guided and helped by your instructor through out the trail course. We made few scenic stops for photos such as the cliffs whereby the view was very magnificent and mind blowing. Its definitely a great outdoor adventure. One of the staff captured photos along the trail which can be purchased at the end and they'll airdrop it to your phone. However, in my case my phone's battery died and a staff asked to email them so they can provide me the photo link where I can download my purchased ($30) photos. To this day, I did not get a response despite multiple email attempts. And now, I feel robbed and duped. Let's hope they read this. Overall, I do not recommend this ATV rental place.

ATV Desert Expedition

My 3h 15m ATV desert expedition (scheduled through Carnival for $119.99) turned out to be a good experience. It included a 35 min bus ride (each way), a single rider manual transmission ATV ride through a desert and over a beach with hilltop views of the beach and ocean. The check-in area offered photos of the experience, souvenir sales, complimentary water bottles, helpful staff, a very small bar and basic restrooms. It was a memorable, body shaking experience.

$50 photo pack. Well worth it.

If you're looking for a little adventure in your travels to Cabo, horseback riding along the beautiful sandy beach and/or a little ATVing is just the way to start your trip. And Carisuva is the place to do it. We recommend an early morning quest, before it gets too hot. Consider travel time from your location to the beach. We also recommend doubling up your adventure with both a horseback trek and ATV ride. Especially couples. Our guide was, Romi. His English es no bueno, but so is my Español. So it's an opportunity to learn! Or just be quiet and enjoy the ride. But most importantly, Romi provided a smooth and safe adventure. ¡Gracias Romi! You will begin with the horseback ride. Brief handling instructions of said horse and then it's off to the races! Actually, there won't be any racing. These beautiful animals are trained to follow the leader. They may stop and graze along the route but they're dedicated to their jobs. Enjoy the scenic views, farm dogs following you along the way and the wildlife. The beach is brimming with nature. From wild cactus, to roadrunners, to butterflies. After your leisurely trot, staff will help you dismount your stud and hand you a bandana for your next four legged mode of transportation. I myself had never been on an ATV and expected there would be a learning curve. Easy as pie. Two hand brakes and one throttle, "trigger" controlled by your right thumb. Again, there's no racing so although you may have the freedom of the wide open beach, nobody's high tailing it to the finish line...ok maybe a little. Once you've enjoyed a face full of sand, you'll drive your ATV back to where you began for a complimentary bottled water. Side bar: At this point I would have LOVED a cold beer and a few tacos. It's advertised on a sign branding Baja Brewery (although we came on a weekday and total there was just three of us riding this particular morning.) I'm sure this is an added expense you could arrange when you return from your ride, I'd just politely ask beforehand. All the staff, including gracious and dedicated photographers, like Hiran, do their best to ensure you have a great time. We also recommend coughing up $50 for a thumb drive of your excursion photos. Always remember, when you're in a foreign country if you don't understand the language, you feel unsafe or have a question - ask for help. It's that simple. The people of Cabo want you to have fun. They want you to come back and they want you to take the time to share your wonderful experience with others so that they too can come to enjoy all that Cabo San Lucas has to offer.

Horseback riding on the beach was awesome! I was really looking forward to going on the Pacific Horseback Tour and I was not disappointed! It was just beautiful riding horses on the beach ! Our tour guide, Ramon, was nice. He even stopped and got off his horse to take a few pictures of us while we were riding. Miguel also took some very nice pictures of our horseback riding experience, which you can purchase your CD of photos after the tour. Oscar was also very helpful and gave us a safety briefing before our ride. I would love to go again and maybe even try the ATV's next time. They also had some mules, goats, pigs and a couple of dogs on the ranch.

A Perfect Day.

Miguel was our guide and very thankful for that as he patiently took many pictures with our camera and the beauty that surrounded us. We even saw whales spouting in October. The best part was Pistachio my horse guide. I wanted to take him home with me. I will definitely put this on my list to do again if and when I am lucky enough to visit Cabo again.

One of the top three greatest experiences in my life. This experience was just perfect. We booked the horseback riding tour. The horses were so gentle and calm. We took a leisurely ride through the desert then onto the beach. It was breathtaking and just amazing being on a horse on a private beach. Even more amazing is there was a huge group of horses that were just roaming freely in the desert and once they saw us they all came running out to the beach and were happily frolicking in the sand near the shore. It was quite a sight to see. When we returned we looked at the other farm animals and were offered a cold corona with lime. Very important to note: this entire adventure was captured by an on site photographer who took such great care to take beautiful photos. We purchased 168 photos for 70.00. They are truly beautiful images. Such a wonderful thing to offer guests. Oh, there is also a gift shop with some special items to purchase. Every part of this experience was outstanding. I could not recommend it enough.

I had a great experience with Rancho Carisuva during my trip to Cabo San Lucas. I purchased my ATV expedition through Orbitz and was contacted by one of their representatives by email within less than 24hrs after booking to confirm my excursion and pickup location. Upon arrival, we checked in and signed some waivers as well as having to pay a 10 per person "park fee". After a little demo and test drive, we were on our way. The ATV tour was so much fun and the beautiful beach and desert scenery was wonderful. I believe this tour was well worth the $62 and would definitely, recommend to anyone!

A breathtaking and amazing experience that left us wanting more. Total time: 4 hours including transportation to and from hotel. The ride to the park was longer than we expected but well worth the ride. It gave us an opportunity to see real Cabo. Total horses: over 40. My son who is 4 years old rode with me on Cannello as my eldest age 6 rode with my hubby on Raiya. We also rode along with our friends. The horses are well trained and know the drill. They all come with saddles and cushions were provided for little ones to ride in front of you. It's fun to see the horses personality as you ride. The guide: Ramon. A man of little words but he didn't need to say much. When we asked to have the horses gallop faster he listened and led the way. He was very cognizant of our children's safety so he took the safest paths. The scenery: one word....AMAZING!!! In addition to their horses they have ATVs as well as all sorts of other animals that your kiddos would LOVE! We paid full price (plus some fees since we booked last minute through the hotel) which ran a total of $110/adult and $25/child. This included transportation to and from, entrance to park, water and of course the ride. Would we recommend? Absolutely! Our favorite experience in Cabo that will imprint fond memories on my children's as well as mine.

A must do if you want to ride horses. Omg! We arrived at the ranch to a quaint ranch with extremely easy going staff. Oscar was our tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the environment and all. Before we took off we had the pleasure of kicking it with the dogs- all rescues one of which had her puppy laying on her. We took off on our ride and were so happy to learn the three dogs like to go with the tour! They happily trailed along stopping to roll in sand of dig up a lil crab to eat!! Horses were well trained and at no time did we have any concerns or scary horse moments . Really enjoyed seeing the native landscapes plants birds and gorgeous granite rocks. The ocean was exquisite and we never saw another person for this two hour ride! Upon our return to the ranch we got our fill petting and kissing! The donkeys and looking at the pigs and seriously when I returned a foal came up to my horse and began nursing! It was just amazing! Thank you Oscar! You are a wonderful animal loving and very cool guy we will be back!!!

When we arrived, we were told that the ATVs we booked were manual, and that since we had kids with us, we were "required" to upgrade to automatic ATVs for an extra $35 per ATV. This was never clearly disclosed at the time of booking. We were essentially forced to pay more or walk away after already arriving with our family. On top of that, they forced us to buy insurance and charged an additional $25 per person park fee, again not transparently disclosed upfront. By the time we started, the price had ballooned far beyond what was advertised online. The worst part? The so-called 2-hour tour was cut short to about ONE HOUR. No explanation, no apology, no partial refund -- nothing. We paid for two hours and only received half the experience. This company preys on tourists, especially families, by: * Advertising low prices online * Forcing upgrades on arrival * Adding mandatory fees * Then not even delivering the full tour length I left feeling scammed, frustrated, and taken advantage of. Cabo has many tour operators -- do yourself a favor and choose literally anyone else.

We were picked up by a driver in a passenger van prior and dropped off after which was great since we knew we would have some cocktails on board the boat. He was great! Very nice and took good care of us. When we arrived, the driver escorted us to the Cabo Adventure center where we were met by one of the crew members and then escorted to the boat following check-in. We walked a short distance to the boat, passing by many vendors and shops who of course chased you down for sales, donations, etc. But all is good, just say no thank you and they leave you alone. We arrived to the boat and were introduced to our captain, and team. Mauricio, Manuel and Derick. All three were very nice. They catered to whatever we requested from drinks, lunch and snorkeling time. When we arrived, they shared we had a photographer taking pictures throughout the day. I was excited as I am usually the one always taking photos so it would be nice to have a photographer taking pictures of our group instead of me. And, to have professional photos would be great! I only snapped a couple of pictures as we boarded because it looked like he was taking a lot of photos of us in front of the arches, hanging on the boat, etc. throughout the afternoon. I also thought the photos were included. They are not. The boat ride was great. Drinks were great. They made cocktails for us. Snorkeling was nice. Views were beautiful. They answered our questions of the area. We have a delicious light lunch of chips and guac, pasta salad, chicken salad and fruit. The staff couldn't be nicer. The photographer is nice. When we arrived back at the center, we were directed to the "photography" area where we quickly learned our photos would be $200! I calmly said let me look at the photos because if they are really that good, I'll pay for great photos. Sadly, they were all just awful! Only 1 decent photo out of 50 or so photos and even that photo needed major editing. Shadows, weird light. We had 2 different group shots. The photos in front of the arches, the top of the arches were cut off! Who cuts off the arches? Not one good picture in front of the arches. They do NOT have professional photographers my friends. Take your own photos. Don't let them convince you otherwise. I still purchased 3 photos as I thought I could use apps to improve them and wanted a memory of our day. $100 for 3 photos. Such a disappointment. I want to give this company 3 stars because of the photo situation but the rest of the experience was great and the photo situation is obviously a personal preference. If I had any photos other than 2, I would share them, TAKE YOUR OWN PHOTOS. Do not let them talk you into their photographer or you will be disappointed and out a lot of money.

Our trainer and instructor Nely was great, important and useful information on safety for both us humans and dolphin Kobe, some general guidelines plus buoyancy jackets and masks brought to us. Kobe is a four year old male, excited to have new friends to show off his talents, and had fun with us and loved his gentle massages. I could've stayed in the water all day but of course couldn't .. Nely taught how to get Kobe to spin, be a shark zooming to us, blowing underwater rings, and other tricks. Best morning experience coming here. There are lockers as you're not allowed to keep jewelry, watches, earrings and such on while in with the dolphins; NO sunscreen either, but call and ask about reef safe sunscreen when you book if it's ok: I believe the policy is absolutely none. We don't want to unwittingly harm the dolphins when hugging ! I suggest you book direct with them as opposed to through your hotel or other agencies. While waiting to be escorted to the pool there's some chairs and tables in the shade near the lockers, after you check in. Inside you can have sandwiches and some other snacks, beer, sodas and such; also a selection of T-shirts, sweatshirts rashguards, hats, and lots of dolphin plushies.

The package we purchased also included a tequila tasting at the end. The tequila tasting was only for the adults. We were picked up from our hotel by the G-Force bus on-time. We packed it in, and I was given the control to the music on the way to their headquarters. From Cabo San Lucas it was approximately :45 minute drive so good music was essential. When we finally arrived at the location we had to check everyone in, pay, get fitted for our helmets, and had a safety meeting prior to heading on our 2-hour adventure. The experience was awesome, but I would definitely recommend prior experience on the ATV even though it's not necessary. The instructor does like to go fast and there are a lot of turns, bumps and hills. It will also be very dusty, so bring a face covering, or purchase one at the check-in lobby. One of the ATV's gears was slipping on the hills, so after a few mishaps, we had to wait until they exchanged the ATV's out. That took an extra :20 minutes, but thankfully we were reimbursed for the ATV. The best part of the ride was the beach. After riding through nothing but hills you feel free! Although one is not able to pass, or get out of line, the temptation is there. Believe me if you horseplay and don't follow the rules, they will not hesitate to pull you to the side. Once you get back and dust yourself off you can grab your belongings from the lockers you were provided at check-in and head on over to see the pictures!! A few of the crew members follow you around your adventure, in order to capture this memorable experience. After we got our pictures, we headed over to the tequila table for our adult tasting. The tequila presentation was exceptional. We were given a backstory on the tequila they produce locally. There had a few different types, but the chocolate liquor flavor seemed to be the popular one. All of the tequilas were flavorsome. The bottles were available for purchase after the :30 minute tasting. If your a tequila lover, I highly recommend it. Overall our group of 13 were completely satisfied with our adventure. The same driver took us back to our hotel, and even did us the favor of dropping us off in downtown for some tacos. Thanks to everyone for making this a memorable experience.

We waited for a few more people and got the rules and instructions from Henry "El Caballo". Everything made sense and off we went to the ATVs. My husband and I chose to do a double which means two people on one ATV. It worked out great since I am not good at driving these things. We took the scenic route to the beach and every step of the way they had a photographer capturing the fun. we stopped twice once at the top of the hill with an awesome view and once at the beach. Both breath taking views. Got to take pictures at each view and since we were on a double I was able to get some awesome videos. Once we left the beach it was a straight shot to the main building. We had 5 tequila shots as part of the experience and while we waited for our ride we were able to look at the pictures and buy what we liked. They also had snacks and some AMAZING quesadillas for sale. They tasted like my grandmas cooking totally completely the entire experience. Thank you Henry El Caballo for the awesome tour. The trip starts with a brief informational overview of sea turtles, and at sunset we went out to release the babies. It was incredibly moving to see them making their way into the ocean to start their lives. The release at sunset was also beautiful and we were able to get some great photos. The only thing I wish I would have known ahead of time was around logistics. The tour was listed at about four hours. Viator does not indicate most of this is transport. If you are trying to plan your day it is important to note that having a 1-2 hour buffer before the tour start time is necessary to ensure you make the pickup (e.g. our tour started at 4:30, pickup was 3:10). It is also worth noting you will not know your pickup time until the morning of the activity (due to needing to confirm the birth of the babies for release). The transport is not private for each group, so if there are others at different resorts the trip there and the trip home can become extended due to multiple stops. The ranch is isolated, so I'm not sure uber or taxi would be a good alternative. In all, I think we spent more time in the car than we did on the tour itself - but, for us it was worth it to experience the sea turtle release. There are restrooms there, and water - no food though. I recommend bringing snacks and water to ensure you have something for the van.
