Every year in Cabo we take the Tropical Sunset Jazz cruise & it never disappoints! The same crew is always there & wonderful - Big Eddie steers the boat & Arturo is the bartender. We always see wonderful views of Lands End, have some good apps & never ending drinks plus we see the sunset & sometimes whales! Definitely reommend!

Nice cruise, great staff on board. Could not have been better. They get you all the sunset experiences you could ever want. Every shot is frame worthy! Good quality booze plus nice wine. Cheese fruit board was plentiful. Clean boat. So why 3 stars? We were told when we booked we would have private transportation to the cruise office and back. Got in the van here and the driver was slower than a bike rider that passed us.... Ok, safety first so we laughed. When we got off the cruise with another cruise at the same time, we looked for the driver that told us to be at dock 4. We are hard to miss especially since he just dropped us off. So into the office we went. When i say "no help" i mean zero help. The nice people who took the money up front couldn't care less about us getting home. One lady wouldn't even stand up!!!! Went outside and took a $30 cab. Waste of $30, plus the $30 to buy the pictures they took. My recommendation is drive yourself and take pictures yourself. But enjoy the onboard experience which is great. Never again for us.

We went whale watching with the Pezgato crew! Ivan was hilarious! He answered all our whale questions and kept us entertained! Captain Alex was great and lead us straight to the whales! Wow what a treat it was to see! We passed by the arch for some great photo ops! They served us breakfast, snacks and drinks! Definitely a bucket list adventure! Felt safe the whole time. Can't say enough how great this experience was!

We booked a snorkel catamaran trip on Pezgato based on all the positive reviews, and had a really great time! They have several boats, and they don't guarantee a particular one, but we ended up on the Tropicat, which was really nice - two nets up front and a slide on the back, so you could "slide" into the water. Our boat was pretty packed, but we found a spot up for the four of us up front near the nets. It was a beautiful, sunny day, we saw several whales, and some dolphins, and a huge school of fish while snorkeling at Chileno Bay. But the best was the crew - they were hustling, bringing us, and all the guests, drinks whenever we wanted (no standing in line at the bar), and passing our snorkel gear to everyone. Remember to bring cash to tip the hard-working crew! Music was really good and fun - a nice mix of Mexican and American tunes. They also have a photographer on board, and you can purchase a package of all the pics they take of you for $30, and get a link to download them the next day. Oh, the lunch was actually surprisingly good too. Turkey, ham and veggie sandwiches on really good bread, chips, fruit and snacks. Totally recommend, and look forward to doing another cruise with them next time, maybe the sunset wine cruise!

The organizers of our meeting booked a Catamaran snorkeling exursion. Our bus took us to Cabo San Lucas to board the Pez Gato III catamaran. First, they took us to see Lovers Beach and the Arch. Supposedly you can walk between Lovers and Divorce Beach, but the passage was not obvious to us when we were at Divorce Beach the day before. We saw many humpback whales on our way east to Santa Maria beach to snorkel. The water was a bit cold at first, but we saw lots of fish over the sand, aided by the food that our guide brought. After others went back to the boat, he told us that it was calm enough that we could go over to the rocks/reef through an opening. So we did and saw smaller, brighter fish, coral and pale sea urchins. We returned to the boat for rather strong margaritas and other 's including my favorite Topo Chico water, followed by a lavish sandwich, salad and fruit buffet. The photo does not show all of the food as they somehow found room to add trays of steak, chicken and vegetarian wraps after I took the photo. We saw some mother baby humpback pairs, but did not get close as we were not on a whale watching tour. And no breaching. I think the whale sightings are better along the Pacific side. Next time I would like to do a sunset whale watching tour. We were warned that the food on these is usually not good, but this company had fantastic food, so I would seek them out again. I am glad that I brought a sweater to put on over my wet bathing suit and coverup shirt, as it got a bit breezy.

I went here a few weeks ago on a whale watch cruise with my fiancés family. You start by going to their office near the boat terminal and they give you wrist bands once you show your ID for those who prepaid. It was a Sunday afternoon and it was not too crowded on the boat. The passengers were a mix of Americans, Mexicans, and Canadians though we mostly enjoyed ourselves and didn't really interact with others partly due to COVID. The complimentary drinks are strong and all of us enjoyed them except my fiancés father who was the designated driver and had coke. They also served sandwich trays and gave us 3 options: turkey, ham, and veggie. The turkey was the most popular and they ran out after the first round so I had seconds of veggie. We got to see at least several whales which was the highlight. Perhaps another year we will try one of their other cruises like the sunset one.

You will not regret the party sunder cruise, unless you bring your 14 ye old daughter and her two friends who get trashed... Just sayin... Everything else was pretty awesome, from the crew to the social media influencers. It was reasonably priced. We got amazing photos and had a blast!

We had a blast! What a great whale sail! Ivan and the crew were fantastic, nice light lunch and drinks... took us to the whales! Highly recommend!

Buyer beware of $35 photo package purchase! Fine print: it takes 24 hrs for uploading and you may not get all your photos or actual access to download! You'll receive a receipt with a receipt number they advise is your download code, however, when entering I receive the following. Before flying back home a young man was kind enough to call the photographer for the day, Tania, who sent me an email with access to view a couple photos with no option to download. Since then, I have called, emailed & spoken to staff several times in hopes they would resolve this issue before leaving this comment. I've returned home from my vacation with no access to my photos!

He also let the kids steer a bit which was exciting for them. Another man was our host and guide - he told us a little about the geography and history of the area and served us our food and drink. The boat was very clean, including the bathrooms. We were asked to leave our shoes in a bin at the dock and it felt fine walking around barefoot on the boat. This sail included dinner but it was more like appetizers: Chips & Guac, a plate of cheese/meats/french bread. Unlimited drinks.

Knowing it's a 20 minute walk from the place where the cruise ship tender drops you off to the place where the tour boats dock, we decided to scout it out the night before. The email from the company instructed us to check in at the Roger's office ("kiosko 2") to ensure we got the correctly-fitting snorkeling gear, so we went looking for the office using a map from the Roger's website and Google maps. We tried inputting the exact address from the email and asking everyone we could find at Puerto Paraiso mall, but when we went to the alleged office location, nothing was there. As a last ditch effort, on the way out of the mall, we paused and asked a random guy at a booth with ads for tours (mind you, nowhere did it say Roger's on it)! This booth was NOT located in the same spot indicated in the map on the Roger's website. However, this guy was somehow able to look up our reservation, and it was legit because he knew my name even though I never said it. He told us to just meet at the dock the next day - not to even worry about going to the "office" (wherever it may be). So that's what I would advise any future travelers to do - just go to Dock D, which isn't hard to find. Ahead of time, I had emailed the company and asked if I could add additional people to our tour and how to pay for them. I received a response indicating we would need to pay 35 per person and they could either send me a PayPal account to put the money in, or we could pay at the dock. When we got on the boat, we inquired about the two extra people and were told to pay 40 dollars. Thankfully I had the email from the company and I disputed this. I was given a roundabout explanation about how the corporate office is somewhere else in Mexico and sometimes there's miscommunication. This felt like an attempt to con more money out of us, but to their credit, they did honor the emailed price. The tour itself was great. We had Jonathan as the guide and Memo as the boat driver. Jonathan had great English skills and was knowledgeable. Our kids got to drive the boat, which had them laughing hysterically. They also dropped a couple members of our party off to snorkel in a designated spot, and the snorkel gear they provided seemed nicer than the cheap stuff we brought. At the end, they offered to drop us off closer to the cruise ship to help us avoid the 20-minute walk, but said it would be a $2 dock fee per person. We did take them up on that, as we had small kids in the party and didn't want them to have to do the walk in the hot sun. They do take pictures during the tour and offer you the chance to buy them at the end. Technically this is mentioned on the website, so it's not surprising. However, I will note that they offered us a discount on the photos at the end if we left them a review - lowering the price from 80 to 50 dollars. So, take that into account when you read other reviews. We declined. I recall when I was researching tour options that some other customers had mentioned their tours being outsourced to other people. There is definitely something odd with the "company." It presents itself on its website like a small business and frequent references are made to "our boat." But when you get to the dock, nothing says "Roger's" - no signage, no uniforms, etc. There's also more than one boat - another party was checking in at the exact same time as we were with the same people. It's almost like they've been bought out by a bigger conglomerate of tour operators. Perhaps this explains the conflicting information in some spots (i.e., the email confirmation saying to check in early at an office but a guy at a random kiosk that doesn't say Roger's on it somehow having our reservation and telling us to just go to the dock). Overall, we enjoyed the tour itself, but the issues with finding the location and being asked to pay different fees than we were quoted were off-putting.

Due to recent legislation in regard to whale shark watching/swimming this tour company educates you and gets you the best sightings possible. The large catamaran is not able to get close to the whale sharks, hence the panga that takes you to get up close and personal. Sure, you can take a panga for the whole tour, but that would be a long and slow ride and leave little time for snorkeling with these magnificent creatures. Not only that, but Chief Scott fixes an amazing lunch as well as snacks. Mariana was our swim guide and she also had to make some phone calls as the swim time that we were given was much later in the day. She worked her magic and was able to get our swim time moved up to match our arrival time. She is so knowledgeable about the whale sharks and is incredible skilled when it comes to swimming with them. Leo was our panga captain and he also kept a good eye on those who were being "left behind" by the whale shark. He would maneuver the panga over to pick us up and then drop us off close again. Between Mariana and Leo, I felt very safe and comfortable in the water. I knew that they were always looking out for us. Sammy (?) was a great host and kept the drinks flowing for those who chose to have a drink or two. Captain Chris was in charge of the catamaran, he was friendly and knowledgeable as well. The ability to use a restroom and showers to wash off the salt water was a huge perk. I am a big girl and they had wetsuits that fit me. Don't let size stop you from this experience! Practice swimming with a snorkel and fins, as this is not the leisurely drop in the water and watch sharks that I thought it was. The whale sharks are constantly moving unless you get lucky to see them stop and get vertical to feed. That all being said, I can't tell you enough how much I loved this trip.
