To say this is my friend who lives in Cabo's favorite thing to do is absolutely no joke. We were there for six days and went out on these boats three times, two daytime trips and one sunset cruise. I personally loved the sunset cruise the most since my skin and the sun are not exactly best friends. That boat had more shaded areas and a relaxed cocktail vibe that made it easy to just sit back and enjoy. That said, the day cruises are pure energy. Fun, fun, and more fun from start to finish. Brandon is the star of the show. Think Julie McCoy but better. He makes it his mission to ensure every single person on that boat is having the time of their life, and somehow he actually pulls it off. The captain is excellent, very safety conscious, and the boat itself feels well maintained and comfortable. The day cruise includes a simple lunch with turkey, ham, or veggie sandwiches along with chips and cookies, but honestly you are not there for the food. You are there for the experience. Drinks are flowing all day, and after snorkeling Brandon makes his rounds with tequila shots over and over again, so maybe plan accordingly. The office can be a little tricky to find the first time, but once you know where it is, you are set. I believe it runs around $100, and it is worth every penny. This is truly a must do if you are in Cabo. Be sure to tip well these guys work hard, if you can afford a vacation, you can afford to be a generous tipper to these hard working folks in Mexico. I saw one lady with her family of 3 put a $20 in the tip jar and ask for $5 back- SHAME on her. We tipped $50 for 2 people. read more

It's become one of our favorite things to do whenever we're in Cabo. The whole experience is effortlessly magical. The views are beyond stunning. This was an excursion booked through Norwegian cruise line Bliss while docked at Cabo San Lucas. Sail and snorkel to Santa Maria Cove. We left port on went on a little cruise and had a great view of The Arch of Cabo San Lucas which is adjacent to Lovers Beach on the Sea of Cortez side and Divorce Beach on the rougher Pacific Ocean side. Our guide aka El Guapo was very entertaining. We spotted at a distance a school of flying stingrays, who knew they did this. We arrived to Santa Maria cove we put on our gear. The water was nice. The fish followed El Guapo as obviously they knew him. We feed them mini tortillas. There were hundreds of colorful fish, much better experience than Hawaii. Now we head back. Tequila party with quality sound system. The ride back a little rougher so they brought us our drinks and fruit. El Guapo did a pole dance it was all in fun and got the 20 something guest in party mode. There was a photographer that took quality photos of us, the Arch of Cabo and us snorkeling so I would recommend purchasing them for $35. U get a link to download them. Nice cruise, great staff on board. Could not have been better. They get you all the sunset experiences you could ever want. Every shot is frame worthy! Good quality booze plus nice wine. Cheese fruit board was plentiful. Clean boat. So why 3 stars? We were told when we booked we would have private transportation to the cruise office and back. Got in the van here and the driver was slower than a bike rider that passed us.... Ok, safety first so we laughed. When we got off the cruise with another cruise at the same time, we looked for the driver that told us to be at dock 4. We are hard to miss especially since he just dropped us off. So into the office we went. When i say "no help" i mean zero help. The nice people who took the money up front couldn't care less about us getting home. One lady wouldn't even stand up!!!! Went outside and took a $30 cab. Waste of $30, plus the $30 to buy the pictures they took. My recommendation is drive yourself and take pictures yourself. We got a discount for a snorkeling trip from our hotel. I was suspicious. And thought it may be " too cheap/ too good to be true". I had low expectations What we found was a fantastic and knowledgeable crew, Great photo opps. Drinks were flowing. They found the best place to snorkel. ( avoiding jelly fish ). GORGEOUS sunset (booze) cruise on one of the several catamarans in Pezgato's fleet of boats. There was only about 20 people on our trip which was preferable and appreciated when we saw boats cruise by with many more people and crowded!! The team on board were friendly and fun! Loved the DJ and energy. Two bathrooms were a huge plus. Only complaint were the snacks... pretzels and nuts. I was hoping for something more substantial since it was dinner time and booze was literally poured down our throats. read more

We booked a snorkel catamaran trip on Pezgato based on all the positive reviews, and had a really great time! They have several boats, and they don't guarantee a particular one, but we ended up on the Tropicat, which was really nice - two nets up front and a slide on the back, so you could "slide" into the water. Our boat was pretty packed, but we found a spot up for the four of us up front near the nets. It was a beautiful, sunny day, we saw several whales, and some dolphins, and a huge school of fish while snorkeling at Chileno Bay. But the best was the crew - they were hustling, bringing us, and all the guests, drinks whenever we wanted (no standing in line at the bar), and passing our snorkel gear to everyone. Remember to bring cash to tip the hard-working crew! Music was really good and fun - a nice mix of Mexican and American tunes. They also have a photographer on board, and you can purchase a package of all the pics they take of you for $30, and get a link to download them the next day. Oh, the lunch was actually surprisingly good too. Turkey, ham and veggie sandwiches on really good bread, chips, fruit and snacks. Totally recommend, and look forward to doing another cruise with them next time, maybe the sunset wine cruise! read more

The organizers of our meeting booked a Catamaran snorkeling exursion. Our bus took us to Cabo San Lucas to board the Pez Gato III catamaran. First, they took us to see Lovers Beach and the Arch. Supposedly you can walk between Lovers and Divorce Beach, but the passage was not obvious to us when we were at Divorce Beach the day before. We saw many humpback whales on our way east to Santa Maria beach to snorkel. The water was a bit cold at first, but we saw lots of fish over the sand, aided by the food that our guide brought. After others went back to the boat, he told us that it was calm enough that we could go over to the rocks/reef through an opening. So we did and saw smaller, brighter fish, coral and pale sea urchins. We returned to the boat for rather strong margaritas and other 's including my favorite Topo Chico water, followed by a lavish sandwich, salad and fruit buffet. The photo does not show all of the food as they somehow found room to add trays of steak, chicken and vegetarian wraps after I took the photo. We saw some mother baby humpback pairs, but did not get close as we were not on a whale watching tour. And no breaching. I think the whale sightings are better along the Pacific side. Next time I would like to do a sunset whale watching tour. We were warned that the food on these is usually not good, but this company had fantastic food, so I would seek them out again. I am glad that I brought a sweater to put on over my wet bathing suit and coverup shirt, as it got a bit breezy. read more

I went here a few weeks ago on a whale watch cruise with my fiancés family. You start by going to their office near the boat terminal and they give you wrist bands once you show your ID for those who prepaid. It was a Sunday afternoon and it was not too crowded on the boat. The passengers were a mix of Americans, Mexicans, and Canadians though we mostly enjoyed ourselves and didn't really interact with others partly due to COVID. The complimentary drinks are strong and all of us enjoyed them except my fiancés father who was the designated driver and had coke. They also served sandwich trays and gave us 3 options: turkey, ham, and veggie. The turkey was the most popular and they ran out after the first round so I had seconds of veggie. We got to see at least several whales which was the highlight. Perhaps another year we will try one of their other cruises like the sunset one. read more

This is our 2nd time on Pezgato for whale watching. Their boats are large and stable. They care about safety and hence don't get too close to the whales, while still watching plenty of whales. We spots several humpbacks although it was December and early in the season. The food and drinks were very enjoyable. Unlimited sodas, margaritas and virgin drinks. The sandwich was fresh and tasty. The team on the boat is very friendly and hospitable. They took photos, but didn't pressure to buy which I also appreciate. All in all, great company. read more

[Out-of-Towner Review] Cruisin' with a side of the arch and whales. We booked this adventure through our hotel, Grand Fiesta Americana. You can read that review for the process of paying and negotiating this -- I won't get into it again. Other than it is a shady business. We were told to book our own transportation from our hotel to the marina, which was the most economical choice. It was about $25 one way for a family of four. We booked a 9 AM adventure, so we had the rest of the day to layout and relax. When you arrive at the marina, you walk through a shop of sorts to get to all the boats. A gentleman asked what company we booked through and told us to wait. Eventually, they called out for Pezgato riders and we made our way to our boat. When we booked this, we thought we were getting a catamaran with the netting to relax on, but we got a huge catamaran with no netting. It was okay, we just had an expectation walking into it. There were four crewmen, one who drove the boat, one who manned the food and bar, one who did all the MCing, and then another one who was helping out with a little bit of everything. I don't fully remember all their names, but they were professional, cordial, funny, and a great group. This adventure includes breakfast and unlimited drinks. They had two types of homemade breakfast burritos -- egg only or ham and egg. They had a little cheese and pico de gallo in them too. They also had some salsa in a Tupperware, but it was way too spicy for me. They offered coffee and fruit too. The ride was serene and it was a great experience. The layout is huge and plenty of room for everyone to sit and relax, also under a covering to block most of the sun. It wasn't too hot out yet, but it was nice to have. I think our group was on the smaller side, so it didn't seem crowded at all. You don't spend too much time at the well-advertised arch, so snap your pics quickly and try to get in a good spot on the boat for pics or to see. The water is truly so clear and blue. There will most likely be tons of other boats out there too, it's a very tourist thing to do. After that, we sent to whale watch. Whale season is mid-December to mid-March/April. Since it was just the beginning, we lucked out and saw about eight or ten in a group. We didn't see one breach, but it was really cool to see them at all. The crew was very knowledgeable about the whales and tell you about their migration, breeding, and all the things. It was a nice anecdote to the adventure. There are bathrooms onboard, but no sink to wash your hands. They really need to stock some hand sanitizer. You have to climb down some steep steps and then the toilet is there. It's a little tricky to maneuver the door as you are on the steep steps, the current, and trying to lock/unlock the door. It's doable for sure, just takes some time. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable time. When we docked the stores were starting to open and the marina was more alive. We went back to the same spot where we were dropped off to hail a cab back to our hotel. there was a porter of sorts, who helped us hail a cab back. The staff is friendly and the company is somewhat flexible, but if you book the snorkel trip right now (July 24), make sure to call and request Pezgato 1. Pezgato 3 is not the same boat, and if you have done the trip before and expect a catamaran with a net, 3 is not it. Supposedly the Pezgato 1 that is marketed online and on the brochure is "in the shop" for a month. We were not informed of this ahead of time and It ruined our trip, and people should know before you buy. read more

Yesterday we took the boat tour to see the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, the tour lasts about 6 hours and you spend about 3 hours on the boat. we start with a taste of different Tequilas. We get on board and here the party begins, open bar and after almost an hour Tacos Times. Back to loud music, drink and dance. I must say that the tour was exceptional, the very attentive staff is always ready to help you. A beautiful experience. Strongly recommended this Tour with this company. read more

Booked with this company for the Tropicat Jazz and Wine Sunset Cruise. Some companies have shuttles that take you to and from your cruise, I didn't see an option with this one so instead of Uber I took the public bus from San Jose del Cabo to the pier in San Lucas - I totally recommend this! Trip Advisor has an easy how to tutorial with step by step instructions. I wanted something kinda chill, the party boats with dance music just don't appeal to me. So I picked this because it seemed like a more laid back time and I'm so glad I did. The crowd still got loose but it was mainly 35+. I don't drink wine but there was plenty of tequila to go around the staff kept it flowing fast! Food consisted of some meh charcuterie but who cares - you're on a boat in the sun surrounded by beautiful water and good people. The jazz was perfect in the sense that I can't remember it, you only need background music for this type of scenery. The boat sails along Cabos famous arches, as well as Lovers Beach and Divorce Beach. There are few things more beautiful than a sunset on the water in the heat. The boat picked up a good amount of speed at points and it was a really fun ride. The price was reasonable but it felt really luxurious, highly recommend! read more

Party cruise was super lively with great music, dancing and drinks. We also enjoyed the snorkeling cruise then next day although it is more for a beginner type and the clarity of ocean wasn't great. We were gifted this tour through the timeshare office at our hotel. That being said, this is basically a booze cruise with dinner and I would have chosen a more family friendly activity for us. For what it was, the Fiesta Dinner cruise was a good time. The staff is energetic and the bartenders worked quickly to get drinks in the guests hands. There was a DJ who knows how to work a crowd. The sights were absolutely beautiful and we even spotted a few whales during our tour. The reason for four stars instead of five is for the dinner buffet. We have a vegetarian in our group and the only items available was mashed potatoes and cooked purple cabbage. There was another group of five who were also vegetarian and unable to fully partake in the dinner buffet. One suggestion is to leave the pasta without bacon. It definitely didn't add anything to the dish aside from making it inedible for the vegetarians. If you are an omnivore of legal drinking age who loves a good time, this might be the cruise for you!!!! read more

We booked the snorkeling tour through out hotel, zero regrets! $80/adult, $40child. Four hour tour- we saw the arc and headed out to snorkel for about 90 minutes. Open bar with plenty of options and lunch was served when we were done snorkeling. Sandwich buffet - ham, turkey, 3 types of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sprouts & cucumbers. Chips, salsa and fresh guacamole. I had never snorkeled before, & I had my reservations about doing it for the first time in Mexico. The equipment was clean, and they made sure everything fit correctly. The crew explained all of the safety rules and someone was in the water with us to make sure we were ok. The staff was amazing, attended to everyone's needs. No straws, doing their part for the environment. I can respect that. Lunch was great and the bar had high quality libations. The photographer did a great job and the photo cd wasn't too expensive. There are a lot of places in the marina that will take you on a boat for a tour or whale watching or snorkeling but the crew at Pezgato is the best. The booking is easy at any resort or online, the pick up from the resort is seamless, the crew on the boat is friendly and made sure the boat was clean and safe. They explained a lot while keeping a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We did a whale watching tour for under $70 (usd) per person when other places wanted over $100 for the same 2 hour catamaran tour that included a light lunch and open bar. When I go back to Cabo, I'll absolutely use them again. read more

We booked the Whale Watching tour on the last day of our trip and was disappointed that NO ONE showed up to pick us up from our hotel. I called and emailed multiple times with no answer. They also had my information and never reached out if they had trouble finding us even though we waited in the lobby as instructed. We wasted an entire morning waiting for this driver. When I finally got in touch with their office, they claimed it was our fault and said the driver was indeed waiting for us, which is a lie. We were out front in the lobby as instructed and no one from Pez Gato showed up. They even admitted that they went to the wrong lobby initially. When asked for a refund, they only refunded me 50% saying they "fulfilled their service." I am still waiting to be made whole as this entire experience has been frustrating. read more

Took the family and had a great time. First view the arch and then headed to Santa Maria - a protected cove. The trip time there is about 40 mins and snorkeling was about 90 mins. The water was a little choppy in the afternoon, but still was easy to see and enjoy the fish. The boat was very nice and a comfortable ride. Crew was very helpful and served drinks and lunch.
