What a great tour. I've been on many horseback rides in several countries and this one stands out for sure. It wasn't overcrowded, it started soon after our arrival and was an extensive tour with great views. Our guide Emmanuel was awesome. Explained everything thoroughly even though we were experienced. Shared lots of information and kept the long ride interesting. We recommend Picacho & be sure to ask for Emmanuel. Definitely worth the money & time!

    1) Really fun ATV trip with Emmanuel! + He was really patient with beginners and walked us through step-by-step process of riding. + We had so much fun! 2) Relaxing Camel ride with Carlos! + Very nice trip by the ocean. Thank you Emmanuel and Carlos! When we go back to Cabo -- we will definitely take this trip with Picacho Adventures again!!! 5 stars!

Emmanuel, our guide was AWESOME!!! He took the time to show us great spots to take pictures, he was patient with our group (a young girl was driving) and just amazing! We loved that he took us down to the beach and just gave us history of it. Absolutely great business and the staff, very professional!

So my family wanted to do a camel tour (bucket list). So I started reading all the reviews on Yelp. The biggest complaint from the other companies was the photo fee (some people mentioned additional $160 and up). NOT at Picacho Adventures. They let you take your phone/camera and allow you to take all the pictures you want. In fact our guide even took this picture for us (along with bunch of others). The whole process of signing up was super easy. Judy answered our call and accommodated our schedule. Most places want 24 hours notice to reserve shuttle pickup. Not only did Judy arrange last minute shuttle pickup but she gave us a custom time to help us get back early for another event. Find out that this is a "mom and pop" business. The whole experience was very personal and did not feel like a big company tourist "trap". We may have paid a little more for our tour but the total cost was much less than what the other companies would have charged (if you add the picture package). The total time was about 2 hours which was perfect. We were probably on the camel for closer to 20-30 minutes (didn't feel rushed). That was about the perfect time to enjoy the scenery and ride. Please do tip your guide as he works hard to walk you up and down the beach. With such a nice experience, we went ahead and booked our snorkeling boat ride in a couple of days. This is the first time I have used this tour company (no I do not get paid). I can't wait to return next year to ride the horses n the beach (you get to steer your own horse, not head to tail) and the ATV/UTV. This company should be ranked a 5 star (looked like they got hammered with a few bad reviews...probably different people from same group). Glad I found a trust worthy company.

I came to Cabo's and got set up with Christian; I would recommend him to anyone who comes out to explore and wants to have a good time--he treated us like he's known us for years. We had a great time, from riding 4wheelrs to zip lining out by the river. We will be back for another adventure!

We went fishing with Jerry and Luis and had a great time! And the sandwiches were delicious!

Picacho, Picacho, Picacho. You did not disappoint me today. A glorious, yet somewhat muggy day. Oh we had fun though. Emmanuel the trusted dune god servant, took us on a dusty whirlwind trip across the dried up river beds, and out onto the freshly carved dunes and playa of the pacific. Our rag tag crew of vagabonds and hipsters (+1 youngster), came upon the camel trains, and varying ATV opponents of other gangs out to ride us down. We endeavored to secure a resting spot upon a windswept, wave crashing shoreline so as to hydrate and rest our weary grip from our machines! In all, we rallied like true professionals of a Mexican Baja! We were treated with historical renaissance and culture botany along the way. Truly the cacti and wild burros we're to marvel at, while being politely informed of the indigenous population's contribution to continued salvation and recovery of this ecologically vulnerable coastline. Our presence being a minor hiccup to consider along the way. Oh, but I wait to return again soon. Emmanuel you are truly a blessing to your craft! We shall see you again one day!

Highly recommend this company. Had an amazing time. The terrain is alot more rugged than what I'm used to, and I like that. Hector was our guide. Super cool dude. Unlike the commercialized Cactus Tours, THEY LET YOU BRING YOUR CAMERA(phone). They provide a locker free of charge, water, and bathroom. You are going to get the $20 entrance fee per person just like most places. They are going to mention the insurance just like ALL places. And they are going to try to up sell you their pics just like other places Pics were nice, but I had my Go-Pro running the majority of the ride. I declined the insurance and had no incidents. We went down some very steep hills and go pretty fast so if you a timid or first time rider, do not do this activity w/o insurance. Cows, horses, and I even saw a bull come out in some of the trails. It can be a little intimidating. We rode along the beach shore and they allowed us to take some amazing pics. Even saw a couple of whales pop up. Certainly not as nice of a facility at Cactus Tours, but they get the job done. So I definitely recommend.

My husband and I did the camel ride with Picacho Adventures, and we had the tour guide, Carlos Alonso. He was very kind and friendly. The camel ride was lengthy, and we got our money's worth. We also got the chance to ride the camels by the beach side, and it was a charming view. I recommend Picacho Adventures for Camel rides with the tour guide Carlos Alonso to family and friends. Me and my husband did the ATV ride with the tour guide Emmanuel. Emmanuel was very kind and friendly and an excellent guide for the ATVs. Emmanuel also took very nice pictures and a great video of us on the ATV; if you didn't know better, you would have thought it was a production. The ride was very lengthy, and we took a break and enjoyed the beautiful view of the beach. It was such a lovely experience, and I would recommend riding ATVs with the tour guide Emmanuel.

Pako and Rafael were so great on our tour!!! They took us to see the biggest cactus of Cabo, took very nice candid photographs and went to the beach! This is a must do activity when in acabo with them!

Emmanuel our guía (guide) was absolutely amazing and gave us such a great ATV tour of the desert and mountains and beach. We will definitely be coming back to him again our next trip with the family! I highly recommend this business as they have several different activities for the whole family! Thanks Emmanuel for your excellent service, se lo agradecemos muchísimo su hospitalidad!!!

I made unforgettable memories here it was everything we could've asked for. Emmanuel was incredibly patient and super fun. My friend and I had trouble handling the regular atv's shortly into the trail Emmanuel was immediately aware of the situation and suggested we ride UTVS for our safety. The utvs were just as fun and so much easier to use. Oh Emmanuel has amazing photography skills as well, thank you picacho adventures. Highly recommend, extremely beautiful.

Les recomiendo mil veces este tour. El muchacho Emmanuel fue un excellence guia y tan caresmatico nos iso sentir Muy seguros siendo primera vez que asemos la actividad paisajeos hermosoooos 10/10

They had all kinds of different boats available anywhere from your basic sport fishing boat all the way up to Vikings pushing 60 feet. We decided to go with a boat called My Way and I told them we wanted to target blue Marlin. I was able to talk with him the day before and make all of the details were taken care of. We arrange for food and beverages and they gave me all of the details on where to meet them. Once we got on the boat, the boat was extremely nice and the captain and crew are absolutely amazing. We went in April, which typically isn't one of the better times for blue Marlin and we were still able to catch two. Everyone on the boat worked their butts off to put us on fish so we were really appreciative. I would definitely recommend this fishing charter if you're looking for a top notch, fishing experience in Cabo.

The first mate would drop down to bait and let out then line and then go back up with captain. Didn't talk or give any direction to us at all - and I had three newbies to fishing so I was giving hints and what to look for , and I'm no expert. When we hooked tuna, first mate would drop down and tell us to reel. Then he'd gaff the tuna, slop into the box, then reset the line and go back up. I regret not saying we'd like a picture or anything. He was all business, land fish, put in box, let out line, then he was gone Same thing with the marlin. We were so excited to hook one and he'd tell us to reel, pull, repeat until we got it the side of the boat. I had to say we want a few pics before we release him, which seemed ok to first mate, but I felt this too was rushed. Back at the dock, same thing. It felt like get off board fast, fillet, give tip, then we are done. I had to get a bit pushy just to get one pic. So if want to get fish these guys delivered. If you want more out of the experience, they didn't deliver

Avoid this company…read more We are vacationing in Cabo for the first time. We read the good reviews and we made reservations with Juan Carlos for the larger boat for a half day of fishing at $550 without buying the boxed lunch. We were transferred to another guy who walked us to the dock and transferred again to our captain (Santiago) and deckhands (Brandon and Gus(?)). We spent the first several hours trawling top water baits presumably for marlin. At one point the captain hooked one and set the hook and reeled it in some. After he did the fun part he passed the pole to me. Before I could hold the pole and start reeling the fish got off the line. That was as close to getting a fish we got all day. At some point they switched to bottom fishing with live bait but got no bites. We could see other boats around us landed fish. When we arrived back to the docks the other boats succeeded in catching themselves "sushi." The captain and deckhands were nice enough, but spoke zero English. Their Spanish was unintelligible as I am an OK Spanish speaker but they were both hard to understand and not interested to talk. The captain and deckhands did not communicate, did not tell us the plan for the day, could not explain what to do with the equipment. We basically watched them fish all morning and almost didn't get to touch the rods ourselves. Our family of four felt like spectators. They had about 8-10 live fish in the well for the entire ride. When they ran out of live bait our trip was over. I feel like it would have been more appropriate to have more bait available at this price point so that we wouldn't go home empty handed. Also, there's a sign on the boat announcing you're expected to add a 25-30% tip. We complied with tipping with no questions asked despite no communication, no teaching, and no fish. I had told the kids in advance that we would catch a fish and take it to a restaurant to eat that night like other reviewers. Be aware that you could spend $550 before tip, watch the staff fish all day, not touch the equipment yourselves, and get skunked.

The first day, there was a lot of miscommunication, we ended up having an extremely dissatisfied experience not just from not catching fish but in terms of captain being unpleasant, boat, and general service. After posting a review about this; my husband was contacted by Daliken and we were offered to come back on another day. Luckily we had time available in our trip. Now, our second trip was exactly what we were expecting. Easy check in process, personable captain (Reuben was great!!!) everything matched the description of the experience and website. We did end up catching a large Mahi Mahi but regardless if we caught anything or no; the experience was fantastic! On a well kept, boat that felt safe to be on. Captain did a lot of explanation of where we were going, what type of fish to expect, what to do if we did catch something and just generally held conversation well and kept us engaged even in slower parts of the day. We even saw dolphins, turtles and seals! Which was super cool but again regardless of just having a great day on the water with catching and seeing so much, Reuben made our experience fantastic! They were kind and respectful about handling the original negative review, and definitely made up for it! Thank you again Daliken for making this a much better Day 2.

We had a very disappointing experience on this fishing tour, especially compared to another group that went out at the same time. First, no one told us hotel pickup was available. We took an Uber to the marina, only to find out the other group was picked up directly from their hotel. We even end up walking to the dock by ourselves. Second, the boat we got looked nothing like the pictures on the website--old, worn down, and definitely not what we booked. Our captain also barely spoke any English, while the other group had a newer boat and a captain who could communicate easily. I'm not picky about the boat being old or new, but it should at least match the photos on the website. Third, we didn't even get to touch a fishing rod the entire 6 hours. The captain did everything himself and told us to just wait. Meanwhile, the other group was actively fishing the whole time. And the worst part: we didn't catch a single fish. ZERO. In a place where fish are supposed to be everywhere. We even saw a fish swim right by our boat and the captain still didn't try changing bait or techniques (He only tried trolling on the way back). The other group came back with actual fishes!!!!! The difference in treatment between our experience and theirs was so obvious: They got pickup, a better boat, an English-speaking captain, active fishing, and fish. We got none of that. Since the other two groups were white and we're Asian, it's hard not to wonder why our experience was so different. I really hope that wasn't the reason, but the contrast was too big to ignore. Overall, this was not the tour we were promised or the one we paid for. Definitely would not recommend.
