Full disclosure, not our first time here. There are several different room types here at Nobu, but all of them are top notch. The restaurants, the employees, and the Diamanté area are all outstanding. The bathroom, the bedding and all the accommodations are unparalleled here. An amazing place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle.

This place is a utopia during the slower seasons. We came during the beginning of August and it felt like everyday was crafted for us. The minimal amount of guests there made it feel inclusive but also exclusive. We were provided a personal concierge, but they had the incorrect telephone number, so we didn't receive anything until mid-trip when they contacted the room. We stayed here for 5 days and originally started in a king piscina privada which was very gorgeous and the private pool was a great addition to the room for morning yoga and late laps. Unfortunately during my stay, cleaning had missed a few shards of broken glass from the guests prior, and I sliced open a toe. Medical came and they were quick and attentive to clean it, as well as schedule a deep clean for the room the very next afternoon while we were at the spa. Sadly after the spa visit we came back and where the room was reset, there were still puddles of blood on the patio, so I didn't feel as though it was cleaned outside at all. Expressing this concern the manager Daniela offered an upgrade to the Junior Suite to ensure safety and that the prior room would be thoroughly inspected. Ambiance/Aesthetic: 11/10 Nobu Cabo San Lucas is one of one the prettiest aesthetics I've ever seen. Very Japanese minimalistic but also very upscale and neutral tones. Ambiance is upscale with everyone to themselves and there to enjoy their time, overall very quiet and peaceful. Service: is either 100/10 or a 6/10 no in-between: Majority of the staff is super attentive and kind going way above, and beyond greeting you at every point of contact and walking you to anything you're looking for. However the 6/10 came in as there were a pockets of miscommunication and a handful of rushing to other reservations. Daniela was a 100/10 Spa: 9.5/10 - services were amazing and they recommended to not use the hydrotherapy services after the facial so they allowed us to come back the next day. Pools: 9.5/10 - the pools were perfect temperature and there are multiple, and one with a swim up bar. There's an adult only pool closer towards the beach that does require reservations, which can be set with your personal concierge. Ardea Steakhouse: 9/10 - Everything we ordered was delicious, but there were quite a few rambunctious kids that night so the ambiance was a bit different. We had 11 courses so I'll highlight the notable below Braised short rib: 9.5/10 - really the star of the restaurant presentation was amazing, and very robust with flavor. Beef carpaccio: 9/10 - great starter, the fried cheeseballs are delicious. Baked oysters: 9/10- perfectly cooked and not overly brined Cro-muffin: 9/10 - amuse-bouche was so flakey, savory, and delicious

The trip me and my boyfriend took for Valentine's Day was amazing! Obviously this is an expensive hotel (which some of the reviews highlight as a downside but is this not obvious?) but I think it was well worth the splurge and the person who paid for the entire thing agrees. Special thanks to our hosts Salvador and Ted who helped organized all rides to and from airport, rides to and from town, and other activities like ATV. They were extremely helpful! And our favorite pool staff Alejandro, who was so sweet and made our trip truly unforgettable. The food is incredible with one miss. The one restaurant we didn't care for was Ardea, the food felt heavy and the flavor was lacking. As for the rest, 10/10. Even the pool side food/ bar was a 10. Fresh healthy food that always tasted amazing. Not to mention all restaurant staff were incredible. The pool was perfect: beautiful, fun, and unforgettable. The staff would greet me, help me move and set up all my belongings and my umbrella and bring fresh ice water and bucket too. They were always attentive and sweet even learning my name after one day . I won't forget any of the pool staff, they really made this hotel feel very homey. The views and architecture are to die for. Everywhere looks like it came right out of a magazine and is extremely clean and always well cared for. The ocean and pool views were bright and inspiring, clashing with the modern architecture and flourishing botany. Lastly the spa experience was incredible, but don't make our mistake and come late! The massage was heavenly, and they took great care of us. The steam room , sauna , and pools were all so relaxing clean and beautiful. Overall this trip was straight out of my dreams and I'd come back in a heart beat, if my boyfriend ever decides to make that move again. But he's already expressed he will!

I love Nobu and this particular location is so remote they have a hotel and a Hard Rock on the same property. It is a solid 40 minute Uber ride from Pedregal so be prepared for an adventure driving through the streets of Cabo. It's less than 8 miles but the roads are pretty rough. If you're staying here, it's a beautiful restaurant so you don't have to worry about anything. It was dark so I couldn't enjoy the ocean view. The hostess seemed sweet and sat us outside. The food is always delicious and my 2 favorite dishes, gluten free Nobu style salmon sashimi and spicy tuna off the crispy rice were perfect. The service was sorely lacking and our waiter couldn't wait to clock out. None of the employees had the cheerful Nobu attitude and that was disappointing. They were just doing their job and still expected a big tip. I probably wouldn't come back unless I stayed at The Nobu Hotel or the Hard Rock which is also on this gorgeous area.

Update (August 2025): After my original review, I reached out directly to Nobu Hotels corporate with full details of my stay, including photo evidence of the stained sheets and a clear timeline of events. Unfortunately, corporate reviewed my case and informed me they would not offer any compensation beyond the room upgrade I received at the time even though that upgrade came only after I spent over six hours waiting for a clean room following the incident. They mentioned they would "check with their insurer," but ultimately told me there was nothing more they could do. I had hoped a brand like Nobu, known for its high standards and guest care, would take more ownership of such a serious lapse in cleanliness and service. Sadly, this was not the case. The lack of accountability from both the property and corporate confirms that my experience was not just an isolated mishap but a failure in how guest concerns are handled at the highest level.

The resort itself is a beautiful and well-maintained property. The staff was great for the most part, but the food was lacking quality. Our pre-arrival concierge was great, but the second we checked out and made comments about our concerns with our stay and our billing, well crickets to date. I had high expectations for my recent stay at Nobu Hotel, but unfortunately, the experience did not align with the price point. The property itself is attractive, but overall I found the stay to be overpriced for the quality delivered. The dining experience was underwhelming. Given Nobu's reputation, I anticipated exceptional food, but what was served did not meet the standard one would expect at this level of hospitality. We have dined at several American Nobu locations and felt this location left us feeling flat. The quality and quantity were both lacking. Additionally, the atmosphere during our visit was not conducive to the kind of relaxing, upscale environment I was hoping for. A large private event was taking place, and the noise, crowd behavior, and energy of the gathering carried heavily into the shared spaces of the hotel, especially the pools. The environment was very loud, with unsupervised children and families creating a disruptive experience. Instead of the calm, refined setting I had expected, the noise level made it difficult to relax and enjoy the amenities. While I appreciate that events bring life to a property, in this case, it significantly detracted from my overall experience as a paying guest. Unless stronger management of shared spaces is implemented, it will be difficult to justify returning. I would encourage the hotel to consider how to balance private events with the expectations of other guests, particularly when the cost of the stay sets a very high bar. Also, we experienced ongoing confusion with billing. Each day, multiple charges, billings, and holdbacks were posted to my account, making it very unclear what my actual final bill would be. While I understand that hotels may place temporary holds, the frequency and lack of transparency created unnecessary frustration and made it difficult to track expenses. For guests, it's important to have a clear, consolidated view of charges to avoid misunderstandings and we are still unclear as to charges, versus holdback and our final billing amount.

Absolutely adored the hotel, but I would stay away from the food and personally I did not enjoy the Nobu lobby. The good: Service: Stellar - immediately upon stepping on their hotel grounds, you are greeted by their friendly staff and welcomed with a wet towel to wipe off any sweat & offered a very delicious and refreshing matcha lemonade to quench your thirst - My concierge at NOBU assisted with coordinating getting us to and from restaurants, events, and even drove us in a golf cart upon request. Stephano always tried to do whatever he could to assist and I never heard "no" throughout our week long stay. We got his direct number to text him no matter if it was after dinner or during the day, and we never had to wait more than 20mins for a reply back to the text. The grounds: Beautiful and zen - concept is minimalist Japanese/Scandinavian style - one con if waking a lot is a problem (but is a pro if you want peace & quiet) is that everything is so far from each other. Be prepared to walk a lot to get to the Nobu restaurant and/or their newly opened Muna restaurant and/or the spa. - unfortunately the Lobby has no air conditioning and being open air concept, we were sweltering from the hot summer humidity The bad: All of their food is overpriced and under delivered - it is just not up to par if you are a true foodie and having no air conditioning in any restaurant just made the experience (& smells) worse. It's very telling when it's not the food's aroma hitting my nose but rather the staff's BO (not their fault, I really don't think it is fair to make them to work in such horrendous heat with no A/C all day long). If you go to the restaurants, your safest bet actually not the cooked food but rather the sushi. Just don't make our mistake of ordering cooked seafood- the $90 lobster we ordered was frozen and lacking in taste. The total experience: A really great getaway from the hustle and bustle. Let me tell you, it was a great experience. It is pricey and not an all inclusive, but you get what you pay for in terms of accommodations, the spa, & service. The next time I come back, I'll reserve my stomach real estate for some actually delectable food somewhere else. I gotta say I am absolutely impressed with their service, they are the definition of what it means to provide excellent service and how to make customers feel valued and catered to.

Enjoyed the zen architecture and how minimalist everything is. It was definitely a quiet and calming stay - which I don't recommend if you are looking for any type of activities at night. The food here isn't bad per se but between $300-500 per meal for 2 people (at their Nobu, Ardea, and even the more casual Nami restaurants), you kinda expect more, especially given it is Mexico. For price comparison, eating at Nobu restaurant here is twice the cost of the one in Palo Alto (and Palo Alto isn't cheap). You'll likely want to eat at the restaurants property because it takes like 20 minutes to get out of the premise with all of the windy roads. All things considered, there are plenty of other excellent options Cabos where you get more value for the money.
10/10 experience! I've frequented Nobu back home and this one is just as aligned with the brand as the others. However this Nobu had the view, the ambience, the customer service, AND its typical amazing food. We reserved it on Friday at the end of Feb and it wasn't too busy and we scored a spot on the outside deck. We ordered the crispy rice with avocado and I believe Waygu mini burger and another entree both were so so good and melted in your mouth We also had two lovely cocktails that were delicious. They ended our dinner with a surprise dessert that was so freaking good! 10/10 recommend, so romantic but also just so darn good read more
We've dined at Nobu Palo Alto before, but this was our first time actually staying at a Nobu hotel--and wow, this experience was absolutely next level. We chose Nobu Hotel Los Cabos to celebrate our anniversary and our first international trip since having our now 9-month-old daughter, and we couldn't have picked a better place. The resort itself is stunning--intimate, serene, and beautifully designed. I joked with my wife that it somehow felt more Japan than Japan itself (and yes, we've both actually been to Japan). That minimalist luxury and calm energy is felt everywhere on the property. We stayed in a swim-up pool room, and it was hands-down one of the best room experiences we've ever had. Being able to walk straight into the pool with our daughter was magical--she absolutely loved splashing around. Nearly everywhere you turn, there are gorgeous ocean views, which adds to the sense of peace and escape. As foodies, we were thrilled to find that every single restaurant on the property was a banger. Truly--no misses. The food was consistently excellent, and the same goes for the cocktails and drinks, which were thoughtfully crafted and delicious. We also dined at their signature Nobu restaurant, but that deserves its own separate review (sneak preview: incredible food with sunset ocean views). Service here is top-notch across the board--warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Special shoutout to Cesar, who made sure our pickup, checkout, and transition to the Hard Rock Hotel later in our trip went flawlessly. He even arranged our airport transportation--everything was seamless and stress-free. We also treated ourselves to massages at the Nobu Spa, which were absolutely on point. I didn't realize how many knots I had from carrying our daughter everywhere, but that massage worked miracles. One thing I really appreciated is how the resort intentionally staggers guests across rooms, making it feel like you have the place almost entirely to yourself. For a new family like ours, that intimacy made the experience even more special. We absolutely loved our stay and will 100% be coming back. Nobu Hotel Los Cabos exceeded expectations in every way. read more

The concierge is 2 of 5 times responsive. Also, of the 2 times, they messed up the times for a booking. They also booked a dinner at a different location for 6 pm which is exactly when a tour ended so needless to say we couldn't make it. Also, no uber allowed to come to pick up guests so you are limited to eating at the hotel OR pay USD$150+ to use hotel transportation to go elsewhere. read more
This review is long overdue. The grounds are just stunning. We stayed in a suite and it was an amazing experience. Upon arrival, you are greeted with beverages. The restaurants on site were fantastic. I recommend booking a dinner reservation for Nobu restaurant during sunset. The whole experience was phenomenal. read more

Loved our stay at this beautiful hotel and especially found the Agave Experience a unique and fun tasting of tequilas and Mezcal paired with delicious bites. Ramon was our sommelier who not only understood the selected 5 liqueurs but explained the process of producing them. Wonderfully described and excellently presented provided such a unique way to appreciate our pours. I highly recommend this treat to those who want to try something different than camel riding! read more

I've stayed at many luxury properties around the world, including several Nobu hotels, and I've never had an experience as disappointing as the one at Nobu Cabo San Lucas. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this hotel does not operate at anything resembling five‑star standards. If anything, it consistently fell below what I'd expect from a basic budget chain. Timeshare Pressure the Moment We Arrived Our experience began on the wrong foot immediately. Before we were even shown to our room, staff approached us to pressure us into attending a timeshare tour for Nobu Residences. Beginning a guest's stay with an aggressive sales pitch is inappropriate for any hotel--especially a luxury property--and it immediately diminished our first impression. Repeated Wake‑Ups and Poor Communication We were woken up three separate times due to preventable staff errors. At 8:00 AM, we received an unsolicited call pressuring us again to attend the timeshare presentation we had already declined. Moments later, again at 8:00 AM, we were called to say our rental car had arrived--two hours earlier than scheduled. And late that night, around 11:00 PM, we were contacted regarding the noise issues caused by a wedding party. Each time we raised concerns or tried to clarify our requests, the staff response was consistently dismissive. Rather than apologizing or offering solutions, we were repeatedly told there was "nothing they could do," even when the issues were clearly within the hotel's control. Rooms With a Persistent Mildew Smell Our room consistently smelled like mildew, creating an unpleasant and damp environment that suggested ongoing maintenance issues. When we notified staff, there was again no real acknowledgment or urgency. Being told that nothing could be done about a room condition that should never exist in the first place was deeply disappointing. Plunge Pool Suites With No Sunlight We paid significantly extra for a plunge pool suite, expecting a relaxing and usable outdoor space. Instead, because of the hotel's architectural design, the plunge pools in these suites receive no sunlight at all. This made ours effectively unusable. Staff offered no alternatives and again simply said there was nothing they could do Suboptimal Location and Exorbitant Transportation Requirements The hotel's remote location is compounded by a restrictive policy preventing Uber pickups at the property--something many other luxury resorts in Cabo do allow. This forces guests into costly transportation options with the hotel's preferred providers. When we asked for clarification, staff again said it was outside their control, even though it is clearly a hotel-level policy. Serious Issue: Lack of Empathy and Coordination During a Medical Situation One night, I became extremely ill and required medical care from a doctor at 3 AM. I was exhausted, in pain, and unable to attend a spa appointment scheduled later that morning. When I informed the spa that I would not be able to attend due to being seriously sick, they told me that I would need to provide proof and physically walk down to the spa myself--even though I had been up all night receiving care. I was made to feel pressured to attend the appointment despite being visibly unwell, which added stress to an already frightening situation. This was yet another clear example of poor communication, lack of compassion, and an unwillingness to take responsibility for guest well‑being. In a five‑star property, staff should be trained to prioritize a guest's health and comfort--not challenge them or make them defend their condition while they are sick. General Disorganization and Unresponsiveness Across nearly every interaction, there was an alarming level of miscommunication and fragmented service. Staff repeatedly asked the same questions, transportation details were confused or incorrect, spa arrangements were mishandled, and no one seemed to communicate with each other. Most concerning was the constant refrain that issues were "out of their hands," even when they clearly were not. What a Five‑Star Hotel Should Deliver but Didn't A luxury property should offer: Seamless communication between staff Proactive and empowered service Quiet, restful rooms Respect for guest time, boundaries, and health Zero sales pressure Honest representation of amenities Flexible, guest‑friendly transportation options Compassionate, solution‑oriented responses Nobu Cabo failed on every one of these expectations. We have had had smoother, more pleasant stays at an Embassy Suites by the airport than at this so‑called luxury resort. The price tag may say five‑star, but the experience felt more like two. Until the hotel addresses its operational issues, staff responsiveness, communication failures, and lack of guest care, I cannot recommend it to anyone seeking a true luxury stay. read more

Im going to say 3 nice things before i tell you how bad this hotel is because my mother raised me correctly - the bed is so comfy - the staff is really friendly - view of ocean is beautiful Now, we can talk about what an absolute nightmare this place is... Good luck finding anything there are absolutely no maps, the hotel is a complete maze & the staff themselves honestly have no idea what building is where. It's insane. We were here for a wedding, nothing was planned as it should be, they collected money for basically nothing and weren't helping or directing guests to any events or experiences they planned. They took a $1500 deposit when we got here which lol was almost as much as the room . But that makes sense because the room service food, which is the qualify of an all inclusive at best is $50 for A burger and $15 for fries and up. This hotel was not fun it was a miserable trip do not stay here. read more

From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Rather than providing a welcoming and supportive experience, they treated us with indifference and disrespect. This behavior is completely unacceptable in any hospitality environment. The condition of the room was equally disappointing. We arrived at 3:30pm and very disappointed with the view of our room. We addressed the issue with Alfredo the supervisor and agreed to pay additional $500 USD. for the upgrade. We were told the room would be ready within an hour and a half and they would text us when ready. By 6:45pm we did not hear from anyone and we had a 7pm reservation for the steak house which had to change to 8pm so we could get ready. We decided to go back to the front desk and that's when they told us the room is now ready, but they took us to the original room that we did not like the first place and it was not the upgraded room we requested and paid for. Finally, they figured it out and took us to the room where we found our luggage sitting outside in the hallway and not in the room. As we entered the room the room had a strong chemical odor that smelled toxic. This created a serious health concern. My wife suffered an allergic reaction and was unable to sleep because of the fumes. No guest should ever be placed in a room that poses a potential health risk. Additionally, the hotel experienced three separate power outages during our stay. These repeated outages significantly disrupted our comfort, safety, and ability to rest. This level of infrastructure failure is unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of proper facility management. Our experience at Noble Restaurant further added to our dissatisfaction. The service was poor, the food quality was unacceptable, and the pricing was excessive, including overpriced bottled water that did not reflect reasonable value or quality. ($27.00usd Evian.) Taken together, the rude staff, unsafe room conditions, repeated power outages, and poor restaurant experience made this stay extremely distressing and completely inconsistent with the standards you advertise and that guests reasonably expect. We paid for a safe, clean, and comfortable stay and did not receive it. Instead, we experienced discomfort, health concerns, and repeated service failures. read more

We came here for Thanksgiving. I rented a car in Cabo outside the airport. We navigated to the facility using gps, apple maps and advice from locals. We finally found an employee entrance where we received directions to the facility. We arrived and checked in. We then went to dinner. The food was nothing special. I have been to Nobu in NYC, DC. My daughter had paid $200 for a birthday cake. We had to repeatedly ask for the cake. When it arrived it was nothing special. It took the help literally a half hour to bring us plates and another 15 to get the help to bring us a knife to cut the cake. Heaven forbid that the help make an effort help us. During our stay the bar help was rude. They all were so they said from Venezuela. Great. Made a point to not forget to tip. When you are at Nobu Cabo you are a prisoner of Zenda. You are a half hour minimum from town. That means store restaurants etc. tell Mr diniro to fix that. What they can't fix is the beach. It's dangerous. They would have a lot of dead tourists if not for the guardia nacional keeping people out of the water and trying to get a bribe. All in all go somewhere else read more

I honestly don't understand how Nobu Cabo gets such high ratings. The experience was awful from start to finish. The WiFi barely worked the entire stay -- constantly dropping and unusable. The plumbing was a nightmare: hot water that suddenly turns burning hot, and loud plumbing noises all night that made it hard to sleep. On top of that, two of the restaurants had terrible food, and one actually gave us food poisoning. For a place that charges this much, the quality and safety of the food should be the bare minimum. Everything is ridiculously overpriced for what you get -- absolutely not worth it. The only thing that deserves any credit is the staff -- they were friendly and tried to help, but it's clear the hotel's problems go far beyond them. Definitely would not recommend staying here. read more

I gotta say I am absolutely impressed with their service, they are the definition of what it means to provide excellent service and how to make customers feel valued and catered to. read more
Enjoyed the zen architecture and how minimalist everything is. All things considered, there are plenty of other excellent options Cabos where you get more value for the money. read more

We contacted concierge three times to confirm our private transportation back to the airport on our last day. Even after receiving confirmation from concierge that our transportation has been booked, we found out there was no transportation booked for our way back when we were waiting outside at the designated area for pick up. The staff did not communicate to us of their oversight nor did they apologize. In fact, we overheard our designated concierge ask the staff if he should call a cab for us instead. We were extremely lucky to coordinate going back to the airport ourselves with only 1 hr and 45 minutes to spare until our departure time. It was a very disappointing way to end our stay with such lack of professionalism from their staff. read more
The bottom line is that this place is way overpriced. There was a leaking faucet and broken TP holder in our room. Service was not attentive. At the pool, many staff members who were servers were just standing around and after no one came to ask if we wanted anything (which we did), I asked one if I could get a menu, and was told to wait for the waiter assigned to my region of the pool. I proceeded to wait another 10 min, and still no one came, but there were 3 servers a mere 20 feet from me. When I asked if I could just get a menu while I waited for whoever was assigned to my area, I was again told to wait. I waited another 10 min, and since I had a 2 year old who was very hungry, I went to the bar to go and get a menu for myself and ordered the food there. I got a mini pizza and poke bowl, and when the outrageous $70 check came with an automatic added gratuity, which was so frustrating because I would not have given any gratuity for the junky service. It looks esthetically nice and it is very quiet. No activities, so although it says family-friendly, it really isn't. I would not go back read more
The only positive attributes about this place are the delicious food and beauty of the property. Now for my laundry list of complaints. There were so many complaints I may forget some. 1) Check-in issues - Check-in takes far too long. You are assigned a "personal concierge," who is actually everyone else's concierge as well, to take you to your room. It took over 30 minutes for ours to appear and take us to our room. When we arrived at our room, our luggage took another 30 minutes to arrive. All I wanted was a shower after a long day of travel. As other's have pointed out, this place is about an hour from SJD airport but is not a complaint because I knew this going in. 2) Private pool not heated - Our private pool was supposed to be heated but was not heated until our last night at Nobu Los Cabos. Skip the private pool until they resolve this issue. 3) Technology and phone issues - The tablet/remote in our room would not charge. We tried to call the front desk to have them resolve the issue but guess what? The phone in our room would not work. We had to get out of bed, put clothes on, and walk to the front desk for help. The front desk was useless. He called our phone and said it rang so it must work. Wrong! It still didn't work when we got back to our room, but we were so far from the front desk that we didn't want to walk back. The front desk associate promised us IT would come by the next day to resolve the issue. Nope, IT never came to check on the phone or tablet. 4) Room smelled - The room smelled musty and damp, likely because the restrooms do not have fans in them to remove humidity and smells. Think about that if you are staying with a partner and want to do your business without a smell disturbing your partner who is only a few steps away. Either run the AC 24/7 or keep the patio door open all the time to help with the smells. 5) Price gauging and overcharging - They added charges to our bill on at least two occasions. The first was for in-room dining and the last was on our final bill. The first was just an extra entree we didn't order. The last was a random $150 charge for I don't even know what. Everyone checking-out when we checked-out was dissecting their bills, so I assume these charging discrepancies were not isolated incidents. Pay attention to all of your bills at this place. We were excited to attend the NYE party at M Bar only to find out that it was not a free party for guests. Guests had to pay $150 per person to attend the NYE party. We opted to watch fireworks on the beach instead. 6) Terrible service - There is never a shortage of servers and yet service is painfully slow. The most helpful people on the property seemed to be the lifeguards, as I had to leverage them to flag down servers on numerous occasions. 7) Lights in the restroom would turn on and off randomly while in the restroom. This place is not worth the price given the issues we experienced. I highly recommend skipping this property. We have no plans of ever returning. read more
I stayed here for a week with my 3 nieces, to celebrate a graduation. Our 2 double queen, pool & ocean view rooms were Japanese elegance & comfort. Each room had a sofa that easily would have slept one more adult too. Bathrooms - double sinks, deep wood soaking tub, double shower heads w/drain in the floor, separate door to enclosed toilet room, toothbrushes, shaving & sewing kits Room - spa robes, slippers, Nespresso, tea kettle & teapot, minibar snacks/drinks/bottles of alcohol, beautiful balcony w/sofas, blackout curtains, tv, landline, ceiling fan, Nobu cookbook The beds, linens & pillows were unbelievably comfortable. We all slept amazingly here. We were given a personal concierge to text w/any questions or requests. Free flowing filtered bottled water was easy to request, as was extra pillows, dining reservations, taxi requests, food or any area recommendations, etc. The gym offers nut & dried fruit snacks & a filtered water dispenser where you can refill the metal Path water bottles that are $10 in the room. The spa has lovely little seedy granola bar snacks. Every afternoon, there was a special yummy sweet (chocolate dipped brownie, macaroon drizzled in chocolate, churro, alfajor, frosted chocolate cupcake) and a savory little bite (cucumber salad, mini empanada) passed around the pool area. We signed up for a morning yoga class, & after applying our spa credit that came with our rooms it was $15/person. Our class was just us 4, & held on a covered, wood deck outside the gym, with lots of air (wind) circulating. Our instructor played music & led us in a gentle flow that she also tailored towards beginner through advanced moves as she observed our various levels. The property is beautiful & so clean. There are 3 pool areas w/cabanas, jacuzzis, & towel/drink/food service. Sun here is very strong but because this side of Cabo is always very windy, the June temperatures never felt very warm (it was high of 90-92 in town) & I also never detected one single mosquito or really any bugs (except for flies, that are attracted to any food). We did feel cold bc of all the wind, but it was still so lovely everywhere. Note that your hair will get messy! We saw 2 beautiful weddings with the ocean as their ceremony background while we were here, w/receptions in a protected outside patio area, so it is a truly gorgeous setting. We are picky food people with high taste, & were all extra impressed w/the service, food quality & variety & presentation, cocktails & mocktails at ALL the restaurants on the resort. Pricey yes but all very well worth it! Note - a 15% service charge is included at all the restaurants. We did consider upgrading to the (first floor) swim-up rooms - those pools connect w/your neighboring swim-up rooms, & are separate yet connect to one of the resort pool areas. I preferred our 4th floor room views though, so I'm glad we didn't choose to upgrade. We did see a few young children & tiny babies, but I would say this is more of an adult resort than a family destination. There were no activities for kids, or kids dining menus that we saw. It is widely understood that you cannot go in the ocean here (as with many other resorts), & just be aware of the constant wind. We heard howling wind all day & night long from inside our room, even with the patio door & heavy blackout curtains closed but our other room was eerily quiet - no wind noises whatsoever! I personally loved the white noise, but everyone is different. This is a wonderful resort to really relax in & I highly recommend. read more

Absolutely beautiful resort!!. It's not for teens and children, but if you want a true resort for adults, this is the place. I am incredibly impressed with their attention to details and customer service. There are six restaurants on site, and I've not had a bad meal while there. The food range from Nobu, Mediterranean, Mexican, and seafood. It's far from the maddening crowd and cruise ship ports of other Cabo hotels. In fact, it's inside a guard gated community and there's a long drive to get to it from the main road. You can't swim in the beaches due to very strong wind and undercurrents. But the pools are heated, with attentive food and drink services. It's expensive to go to downtown Cabo from the resort ($44 by taxi because although Uber can drop you off at the resort, they can't pick you up). It's chilly at night here even in the summertime so bring some warm clothes. It's a great resort for adults to relax and recharge. The food is terrific, the service is world class, and the sunsets are gorgeous. The concierge can assist you with planning excursions and activities. I heard in September & October you can see whales off of the shores of the resort. There are pickleball courts too. read more
Long overdue review! Idk why I didn't leave one sooner. I came here a couple years ago for my mom's 40th birthday and it was honestly an unforgettable experience! The staff treated us really well. We were assigned our own butler during our stay. Everything here was super zen vibes and very quiet. We went in December. The food was SO delicious!! I still crave it til this day and can't wait to be back! (See photos!) Of course everything is on the pricier side, but it's definitely worth a visit at least once in your life :) read more

Wow! This beautiful magical resort was amazing. The scenery, ambiance, service and the food was out of this world. We stayed in a suite and it was luxurious and spacious with our own huge patio that opens up and have this spectacular view of the ocean. We got to see the whales everyday. It was so tranquil and relaxing. Every restaurant we tried was over the top. Worth the money spent. If you're looking for a high end resort, you found it. read more
We had a wonderful time at Nobu Los Cabos for our Honeymoon! What a relaxing, beautiful property full of kind and attentive staff. Everybody we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. We have to give a shoutout to Stephano, our local ambassador! He took great care of us our entire stay at Nobu, texting us good morning, making reservations for us, answering our questions, etc. He really goes the extra mile for his clients. We very much appreciated the treats and wooden animals he left in our room. It's little details like these that make a stay special. Our room was spacious and the entire property was extremely clean. Although it is open concept in nature, there were not bugs or flies everywhere, which was so nice! We were comfortable spending time and eating outdoors because the bugs were not bothering us one bit. The housekeeping staff is great and we noticed they checked on our room not once but twice in a day. That is so hard to find these days as many hotels will not clean daily anymore unless you ask. All the servers, hosts, and bussers at every restaurant were lovely. Very attentive and we loved how they cared about the details, like double checking about food allergies. If you have an allergy you can travel here safely because the staff is so caring and they all communicate notes well. Many times at the restaurants they checked with us first before we even said anything regarding the allergies. Truly, Nobu is the best hotel we have stayed at. We can't wait to return. The cost is absolutely worth the value, amenities, and incredible service you will get here. It feels impossible to go back to the average hotel after experiencing this. Thank you to everyone at Nobu for a great Honeymoon! read more

From the moment we stepped into the Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, an oasis of tranquility and sophistication enveloped us. The impeccable staff, led by our personal concierge, Alan Santiago, ensured that our every need was not just met but exceeded beyond our expectations. Alan's dedication and attention to detail were the highlights of our stay. He was ever-present, anticipating our desires before we even voiced them. Whether greeting us at breakfast with a warm smile or checking on us in our room, Alan made us feel like true VIPs throughout our vacation. The gorgeously appointed and modern rooms were a sight to behold. Our swim-up room, in particular, exceeded our expectations, offering a private oasis right at our doorstep. (Insert room photo here) A nice touch is the electronic touchpad they have in every room. Every single restaurant, their menus, details, and a host of activities are at your fingertips, as is room service, concierge service, and spa services. You can simply hit "request this activity," and the hotel is notified immediately. No need to call anyone (although your concierge is always a text message away if needed), it is a convenient and thoughtful feature. While the hotel's proximity to town offers ample opportunities for exploration, the culinary delights within the resort's seven exceptional restaurants made venturing out almost unnecessary. Our dining experiences at Nobu, under the guidance of the talented head chef Omar, were truly unforgettable. His expertly crafted sashimi dishes were nothing short of perfection on a plate. Beyond the exceptional cuisine, the attention to detail extended to every aspect of the resort. We witnessed Jenny, a dedicated staff member, meticulously documenting the condition of a plant, ensuring its well-being was addressed promptly. The immaculately landscaped grounds and the seemingly endless stretch of private beach provided the perfect backdrop for long, serene walks. They also offer the delightful experience of dinner and s'mores on the beach, which is a great feature! Contrary to initial concerns, the wind was remarkably mild during our stay, allowing us to fully embrace the resort's multiple pools, including the adults-only oasis and the lively pool area with a DJ, creating a classy yet relaxed vibe. Nobu Hotel Los Cabos is a true luxury destination where hospitality is an art form, and every detail is crafted to create an unforgettable experience. Our weekend with friends at this oasis will forever be etched in our memories as a remarkable testament to the heights of indulgence and personalized service. read more
I'm lowering my 3 star review to 2 Not only was it totally expensive (food delicious, but still poor value)... my son got stuck in the bathroom stall and couldn't get out!!! Also, the busboy poured water into my daughter's half full wine. He then got her another glass, poured out of our bottle! (As they would not open a new one) To compensate, they gave us 4 tiny pours of some champagne for dessert read more

The Hotel ambiance is a very Zen like tropical vibe of Japanese minimalism, mixed with Mexican flair. You cannot stay here on the cheap, that should be given with a name like Nobu. The Great: Muna Restaurant is by far one of the best experiences of my life. the Food is AMAZING, I cannot stress this enough. the Best Hummus I have ever had in the world... and I've had a lot. It's not just that, but you feel so appreciated the entire time. It's a newer restaurant in their residences tower, and I am so happy I found this place. I ate here EVERY single day while or when in Cabo. I can not get enough. The service is Michelin quality, and everyone is friendly. Wines are overpriced, but it is Mexico. The Good: the resort has multiple pools, each with their own vibe and feel. Plenty of food options, and great room service if that's your thing. the design and feel of the resort has clearly been thought out to the finest detail and executed perfectly. They are also always doing maintenance - good and bad - but great to see they keep it looking pristine. The Not so Good: The pricing and upselling of rooms is excessive. also don't get baited into free resort credit to sit in a meeting to buy a residence. They will find a way out of it - frustrating and complete waste of time. The location is down a very long and horrible 2 lane dirt road. You feel like you're going to be dumped in the middle of nowhere, then all of a sudden you are there. It sits right next to the Hard Rock, so that made me feel safer, but overall it's very FAR from the downtown Cabo action. The Bad: if you go in the rainy season, you will likely smell mold in your room... I once had to move rooms 3 times to get a decent one during that time. Did I mention the price? It's pricey. Not Las Ventanas expensive, but close, and not quite on the same level. Their basic rooms are very basic, so you almost need a suite. Just like Japan, the hotels rooms are small, and that's the same here for the basic room. If you need the action of downtown cabo, you will be wishing you stayed not so far away. If you want a zen like retreat away from the bustle, this is it. If you fly into the main airport, be prepared for an hour + drive. If you fly to the new private airport, it's much closer. Perhaps you visit first, and try Muna. :) read more

The resort is beautiful, loved the architecture and the Japandi vibe it had going on. Super minimal and gorgeous. Everything was very clean. We stayed in a swim up room and it was lovely. Service was so fast and attentive. Staff were extremely friendly. I'm mainly basing the review on aesthetics and service. Had dinner at the Nobu Restaurant, it was mid, I've also been to a different Nobu and same, food is mid. Food around the resort is nothing crazy, but also not amazing for the price. You don't really have many options unless you want to venture out to town. (You can't order an Uber to pick you up from the hotel, I imagine some security issue-- they can drop you off, though). Go here if you just want to lounge and be low key. The vibes were very couple-y. read more

Unfortunately did not get the experience for which I paid. We arrived at Nobu on a day with light rain, so I understand that the rain affects how we can enjoy a relaxing resort. But every restaurant except for 1 was open and serving lunch. We did enjoy the food throughout the resort, but this was frequent occurrence each and every time we wanted to try a different restaurant or bar. We were told on multiple occasions that a restaurant would be open, for it to actually be closed. We reserved a cabana that we were never able to actually use, as another part of the resort was closed for the day despite no rain. We tried to schedule mezcal/tequila tasting as advertised through the room brochure, and no one could tell us where or how to participate. And then one evening we were followed suspiciously by an employee as if we didn't belong until I produced my room key. Each meal was quite tasty and nice drinks to match, but overall I don't have a reason to visit this resort again. read more

The Ardea Steakhouse. Five Stars. Our waiter Jorge gave us an excellent breakdown of the menu and his opinion, which was helpful in deciding. We were feeling it was a carnivore night lol. We ordered Australian New York Wagyu, The Cowboy, Short Ribs. Each dish had its amazing visual, savory smell, out of this world taste. We felt like we were in heaven. The Glazed Wagyu Lollipops, yum!! We had such a fun time, Jorge invited us to meet Chef Jonathan and his staff. Truly a blessing experience, and very wonderful to see the teams passion and learn more about their inspiration behind preparing wonderful dinners. This dinner is one I will never forget. This was my 4th time in Cabo San Lucas/ Los Cabos and had been wanting to stay at the famous Nobu resort. Loved it! Loved how everyone welcomed you and said ," Welcome Home". I wish this was my home! Very clean, quiet and tranquil place. When you arrive, they take your luggage to get it cleaned and sanitized! Every staff member would say hello and made you feel at home. Rooms: The rooms have very nice subtle Japanese inspired touches and very modern and yet simplistic. My favorite thing was the bathtub! Food: We had room service, Playa Bar, and ate at the very delicious namesake Nobu! Sure, it's not "cheap" and you are far from downtown restaurants, but, you are paying for quality! There is also a nice steakhouse which I did not get to try. I also did not want to waste time just to save some money by heading back and forth to downtown Cabo or Squid Row. Service: Everyone was very nice and friendly. I'm very happy with how well everyone was trained here and high level of customer service. Glad that I was able to make it to Nobu and stayed there. Hope to return to stay here again! read more

This is a bit of a very specific review based on interactions with the staff. I go to a 5 star hotel and you push a timeshare pitch to me? And not casually, but agressively so, with every chance you get? I expected more from a 5 star place, but apparently not. This is extremely disappointing to say the least. read more

Overrated but if you would like someone secluded with overpriced sushi then this is your place. Maybe better for a place in middle of back dirt roads to get to and if you're wanting to be away from Marina life and close to other things. Nice place but rooms at other places impressed more. I could get a suite at any casino or hard rock and it would be better. As much as I think of some high profilers I don't need to stay at a place like this just to say I went where they were. read more
10/10 If I ever go back to Cabo, which I will, this will be the only place that I stay. The location is very secluded, which is great for safety. Every inch of this luxury resort is a photo opportunity. & from the moment you arrive they call you by your first name. I don't know how they all remember everyone, but they do! The resort is so perfect that you never really have to leave. I enjoyed breakfast/brunch at Malibu Farms, lunch/dinner at Pacific, and dinner at Nobu. All meals were 10/10! The drinks were nice as well. I had a tequila/mezcal flight at the pool with guac and chips! They also have a drink called an espresso mojito and IT IS delicious. I was obsessed with the flavor. I ordered one every day that I was there. I was so sad that I couldn't find the drink anywhere in the states. I asked at several different Nobu locations, including Malibu and Georgetown. I also requested the drink at Malibu Farms in Malibu and in Miami with no luck. I love coffee so this was like an espresso martini times ten! I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Cabo. read more

We honestly had a fantastic time at Nobu Los Cabos. Grounds were amazing, not crowded, relaxing, food and drinks were great, and we loved our room. Now for the unfortunate part... Upon our departure, we had transportation pre-scheduled. The bell desk told us to wait in the lobby and that they will come get us when our car arrived. At departure time, the bellmen came to the lobby to retrieve us, introduced us to the driver, and put our bags in the car. Sadly, we found out halfway through our drive that the bell desk put our bags and family in the wrong car. We had to pay an additional $135 out of pocket in order to not risk missing our flight, as our correct driver had already left the Nobu hotel at that point. I don't know how the bell desk put us in the wrong car considering there are two checkpoints leading into the hotel. We kindly asked that were simply reimbursed the $135 for the bell desks mistake, as putting us in the wrong vehicle is a mistake we wouldn't expect a luxury hotel such as Nobu would make, especially considering we had our young 6 year old daughter with us. After a multitude of follow-ups with no response, a manger finally got back to us. He said he would like to pay us in good faith, but needed to complete an investigation into what happened. After weeks of following up with no response, the manager finally got back to us again and blamed the driver and would only give us a room credit for another stay. This is not acceptable, as it doesn't make sense for us to spend another $5000 for a small room credit. A $135 reimbursement is pennies for a global brand of hotels, so the hard stance here makes no sense. We will no longer take our friends, families, or partners to any AIC hotel locations. read more

I am writing to express my recent experience at the Nobu Hotel in Cabo San Lucas. Unfortunately, our vacation got off to a rocky start and ended on a similarly disappointing note. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were initially directed towards the timeshare side, where we were strongly encouraged to consider purchasing a timeshare. We were informed that our reserved room was not yet prepared and would not be available until after the designated check-in time. Consequently, we were urged to make use of the timeshare accommodations. However, after asserting our preference to stay in the hotel as originally booked, our room miraculously became available. Subsequently, we proceeded to the pool area in the hope of enjoying some relaxation. One of the primary attractions that drew us to this hotel was its promise of a breathtaking ocean view from the pool, complete with a swim-up bar and sushi station nestled in the sandy surroundings. To our dismay, upon arrival, we were greeted by imposing construction barriers that obstructed the entire view, indicating that the swim-up bar and sushi station were undergoing renovations. This was contrary to the information provided during our initial property tour, where we were led to believe that we would have access to these amenities. Despite this disappointment, we opted to make the best of the situation and took a seat by the poolside. However, we waited for approximately 10 minutes without any assistance in securing chairs. Despite our requests, there was no host or hostess available to help us. We eventually decided to sit down and order food, but our meal was marred by the presence of a black hair. The following day, we reached out to the concierge for assistance with reservations, but no one returned our calls despite repeated attempts. Consequently, we took matters into our own hands and made our own reservations. Unfortunately, our experience with the concierge continued to be marked by unresponsiveness to our requests. Frustrated by the lack of amenities and assistance, we made the decision to leave the resort and venture into town, where we paid a premium for access to a beach club. We had initially chosen Nobu Hotel in anticipation of enjoying the amenities that justified the price we paid. On another occasion, we attempted to access the adult pool, but found that no accommodations were available, a situation we had encountered on previous days as well. We requested one of the staff to inform us if any chairs became available. An hour later, we were informed that chairs were now available. We packed our belongings and proceeded to the other pool, which was quite a distance away, only to be told that there were no available chairs, and the staff appeared unaware of our previous request. It was only after we left in frustration that chairs suddenly became available, repeating a pattern of inconvenience. Finally, we engaged in a conversation with the manager, who unfortunately displayed a lack of courtesy throughout our interaction. He appeared disinterested and repeatedly checked his watch, failing to pay attention to our concerns. He offered us two complimentary nights for a future visit, an offer we declined, expressing our intention never to return to the resort. When we requested a refund, the manager agreed without hesitation, indicating that he would communicate with the corporate office to facilitate the process. Regrettably, he did not follow through with his commitment, failing to respond within the promised timeframe despite our daily attempts to reach him. In light of these circumstances, I am compelled to seek resolution through formal channels. I kindly request your assistance in expediting this matter through the corporate office in the hope of achieving a timely refund, which is rightfully due to us. read more

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Nobu Los Cabos that I feel compelled to share. Our vacation, which cost us over $10,000 for just three nights, turned into a nightmare. First, we had a $600 piece of property broken, and when we approached the manager at 12:40 PM, their response was shockingly indifferent. Instead of offering assistance, they suggested we should pay for it ourselves. This lack of care was a huge red flag for us. Even worse, we noticed that the champagne we had paid for was missing. It felt like we were being robbed right under their noses. On top of that, we were charged $494.20 for a pair of Fendi glasses that we never received. It was clear they had no problem taking our money without delivering the promised service. To add insult to injury, they were aggressively trying to sell us a condo, which is the last place we'd want to live, especially at Nobu. We also attempted to arrange horseback riding, a yacht sunset cruise, and fishing activities via email prior to our arrival, but we received no response whatsoever. The complimentary dinners we were promised were never honored, and when we expressed our dissatisfaction, the concierge spoke to us as if we had no right to complain, despite spending so much on our stay. This entire experience left us feeling robbed and disrespected. The food was mediocre at best, earning a mere 1/10 from us. The service was non-existent, scoring a 0/10, and the manager deserves a -5/10 for their lack of professionalism and concern. Overall, this trip has soured our view of Cabo, which is heartbreaking since it's so close to home. In hindsight, we would have been better off enjoying a staycation. Please, do yourself a favor and avoid Nobu Los Cabos. It was the worst vacation experience I've had in 34 years! read more

Nobu Los Cabos is nothing short of a paradise on Earth. The team at Nobu is the epitome of professionalism, courtesy, and attentiveness. Our ambassador, Alan Santiago, is nothing short of a magician. He orchestrated a truly magical experience for us, checking on us constantly throughout our stay, ensuring every moment was perfect. We stayed in a private pool room that can only be described as a sanctuary. The zen minimalistic decor exuded tranquility and sophistication. Dining at Nobu was a culinary journey of unparalleled excellence, accompanied by exquisite cocktails that were truly works of art. As a health and wellness enthusiast, the gym was a dream come true. It's not only gorgeous but also highly functional, allowing for invigorating workouts with breathtaking ocean views. If there was a minor setback, it would be the spa. While it was still good, it didn't quite match the overall luxury of Nobu. What truly sets Nobu Los Cabos apart is the people. We connected with so many wonderful, thoughtful, and all-around amazing individuals, like Enrique and Kiara. They are genuine, authentic, and made our experience even more special. Our time at Nobu was so extraordinary that we decided to become residence members. If you're contemplating this trip, don't hesitate - just book it. We used Delta Vacations, but I can only imagine that using the Nobu Concierge would provide an even better experience. Five nights and six days of pure relaxation and wellness in this unparalleled haven - it's an experience beyond compare. read more

Nobu Los Cabos is truly a gem and absolutely worth the drive! While the journey to the hotel may feel a little daunting as you approach, once you arrive, you're greeted by a stunningly beautiful setting that instantly puts you at ease. The food was absolutely delicious, living up to Nobu's world-class reputation. The yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño was fresh and flavorful, perfectly balancing spice and citrus. The black cod miso was cooked to perfection, with its buttery texture and rich flavor melting in your mouth. And, of course, the crispy rice with spicy tuna was a standout - so addictive and satisfying! The service was impeccable, with every staff member going above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made thoughtful recommendations. The view and ambiance are the icing on the cake - breathtaking oceanfront scenery paired with chic, serene vibes that make you feel like you've found a slice of paradise. If you're in Los Cabos, do yourself a favor and make the trip to Nobu. It's a dining experience that combines incredible food, exceptional service, and unforgettable views. I can't wait to return! read more

Nobu Hotel Los Cabos is simply perfection with one glaring exception.... If you get a room near the cortez pool (building 1) then you will be pounded with loud blaring music from their DJ from morning until 5:30pm.... We moved to the quiet Pacific Pool side (Building 2 or 3) and it was zen quiet and peaceful... The pool on the Pacific side was quiet, beautiful and so welcoming.... The rooms were beautiful.... So choose wisely... Either the Loud Cortez Pool and rooms or the quiet zen beautiful rooms on the Pacific pool side. Our Butler Ignacio was simply outstanding... He helped us find the perfect room in Building 3 (zen quiet and peaceful) and made dinner reservations and was so attentive to our special needs including 2x daily ice and water in our room... He also was there to see us off making sure the bell staff collected our luggage at the exact time promised... He is a gem of a butler with a positive and very friendly and professional demeanor..... 5 star butler read more
