This is one of the most beautiful properties I have visited in Cabo.We dined at Alerije and the service and food was amazing. Very expensive for sure. Beautiful restaurant inside and out with wonderful musicians playing the guitars. Definitely would try again.

Dined at the Sea Grill in November 2025, not as resort guest this time, but I would like to on a future visit. I imagine this is the top property in Cabo. Descriptors that come to mind: subdued, serene, zen, family, Architectural Digest, zen, garden, design, "perfect moment." Loved the Sea Grill, outstanding wine list, incredible beach view, superb seaside dining, and fabulous, well-trained, and attentive staff. Peak experience in Cabo, a truly wonderful evening. Love it.

We ubered here from The Waldorf and the security is tight as in you need a reservation to even enter the resort. It is gorgeous here and is reminiscent of the 80's with jazz music playing close to the beach. The staff is very welcoming and hospitable like a 5 star resort should be. I will be staying here next time we come to Cabo!

Beautiful resort with impeccable service from start to finish! Rooms were spacious and well appointed.. loved the jacuzzi tub and outdoor patio area. We had a delicious lunch at Sea Grille and awesome dinner at Arbol and breakfast at Alebrije. We enjoyed their cavernous lazy River and La Botica speakeasy. Staff was very friendly and helpful and enjoyed the many gifts bestowed upon us!

We basically had this pool to ourselves until the day before we left.

Where do I even begin? Las Ventanas is perfection. The views, as you can imagine, are sublime. Day or night. It is next to impossible to take a bad photo here. The atmosphere... sophisticated, luxurious and serene. The rooms are spacious, spotless and well appointed. The food is fresh, plentiful and delicious. You will be at peace here...to rest and rejuvenate. No detail is overlooked and the answer is always, "Yes, of course". More often than not, you don't even have to ask.. your needs are often anticipated before you even realize that it was something you may have wished for. Truly, every member of the staff here is genuinely helpful, friendly and engaging. I cannot thank them enough for making my birthday celebration an absolutely unforgettable delight. There are so many reasons why this resort consistently wins awards as one of the best. I can't wait to return.

The service is fabulous, the staff attentive, the rooms are gorgeous and the food is amazing! We celebrated our 40th anniversary and I don't know how it could have been any better.

Sunrise each morning with coffee on the veranda is spectacular!

Par excellence from the moment you step from your taxi upon arrival. Arturo, Gabriel & Gabriela were the three who attended to our every need during our entire stay. Honorable mention by the main pool area were Jose who's personal attention brought a smile at every appearance. Citlali who I believe is responsible for a portion of the crew. Her delightful presence and knowledge enlightened us to more areas of the resort to explore. We made a few trips to the Tequila bar for sushi and had a wonderful experience. Kudos to the staff there! However, had I not enjoyed the tequila so much perhaps I would have remembered their names to credit them for our enjoyable evenings. Homemade Sangrita is the best! The attention to detail is appreciated. The gym, Spa, Taco bar, Main restaurant, several choices of infinity pools....We will return!

Being at a place like Las Ventanas al Paraiso, is like being in an art installment. Everything is immaculately groomed and thoughtfully procured down to the very flooring that you walk on. Even the architecture of the building itself with its clean lines and never-ending grand staircases feels intentionally curated. Your eyes will be drawn to the natural curvature of gem-colored infinity pools, robust towering palms, and beach cabanas with crisp white linens sunken into an endless coastline of hot sand. As if Las Ventanas could not get any more phantasmal, just wait until nightfall. Twinkling lights, candles, the smell of freshly grilled seafood, the sound of laughter and in-depth dinner conversations, and the taste of Tequila so pure it slides down the throat without hesitation. Whether you're a guest of the hotel, or merely coming for a meal at one of their many acclaimed restaurants, you're treated with unparalleled hospitality (as is standard of Mexico) and the notion (whether true or not) that anything you could possibly want can be found here. As with all dreams, there are endings- or in this case, caveats. You will have to pay to experience it, and even the most economical option here will force a pretty penny from your wallet. Is it worth it? As one not commonly swayed by prestige....even I find myself thinking "yes".

This place is stunning. I can see why the name translates into "windows to paradise." If you like a desert modern spanish architecture you will like Las Ventanas. There are 4 pools here of different sizes and styles to accommodate your needs. Each room gets a butler that will accomodate your needs. They offered to unpack our clothes. I don't generally take them up on that but I did and have to admit I kind of liked it. I got back to the room and all my clothes were in the closet and in drawers. Every night they would make sure the place was nice and tidy. I can see why people would love this place. I only had one gripe: the beach is not swimmable. We didn't see anyone swimming on the beach and when we asked they said the red flags were up due to rip currents. Since a big part of the reason we come to Cabo is to be on the beach that was a big drawback. This place is so stunning. If you're into posting on social media this would be heaven for you. It is so aesthetically pretty.

The magic of Las Ventanas has nothing to do with its enchanted grounds, the delicious food, ubiquitous plush towels, the breathtaking view, the majestic pool area nor the meticulous maid service. The magic comes from those who serve. They've truly perfected the Art of Service. The charming, charismatic and lovable Butler team sees to your every wish and proactively looks for new ways to delight you and make you feel special. The pool crew is equally lovable, and I especially appreciated their enthusiastic willingness to accommodate small special menu orders. A million thanks to Antonio, Javier, Jose Maria, Carlos, Alberto and Beatriz for making us feel like royalty. After my visit, I'm 100% convinced that any negative reviews come from those who A. couldn't afford it and had sticker shock, or from B. those who are impossible to please. If you aren't happy with this gracious, amazing and over the top service, it's really a reflection on you.

This is an overdue review of our extended Memorial Day weekend at Las Ventanas al Paraiso. The resort exceeded our expectations -- the beauty of our room and the grounds, the gracious and thoughtful service, delicious breakfasts and dinners. Thank you to our room butlers, Demetrio, Connie and Luis, for making our stay really enjoyable. Balloons in the bath one night and surprise desert delivered to our room after dinner (while we were out) were especially memorable, as the trip was an early celebration for a June birthday. Our room, number 408, was a junior suite with an ocean view and a rooftop terrace. The weather was in the 80s during our visit, so not too hot, and we used the rooftop terrace more than we initially anticipated. Dinner at Arbol was my husband's favorite. For me, it was a close call between Arbol and the casual ceviche bar. At the airport, I highly recommend Cactus rentals for a rental car. This was our third or fourth time renting with them. We had a terrible experience with Hertz over Christmas (Cactus' cars were all booked by the time we went to reserve a car) so I would avoid Hertz. We will definitely return to Las Ventanas al Paraiso.

This property is beautiful. My friend and I dined here during our trip to Cabo. We at at both restaurants. Even though they are close they are totally different in atmosphere. We ate at two on the beach. Our sommelier, Norman, was excellent and available for both locations. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. The most adorable part of this whole this was that my purse had its own seat when we dined in the sand.

We had a spectacular ocean view, and our room on the 5th floor was very quiet. The grounds are beautiful with multiple pools. The main pool has cabanas for rent, an infinity edge overlooking the beach and ocean, a swim up bar and restaurant, and poolside service for food ad drinks. Diego was especially helpful. Lena restaurant has a swim up bar in the main pool and their menu includes pizza, sandwiches salads, and tacos. The family pool also has poolside service for food and drinks. Shout out to Fidel and Angel for their excellent service! The family pool is near the kiddie pool and play area which has a water system kids can run through and a small water slide. Mio restaurant is on it's own small pool with an infinity edge and beautiful view. Mio menu includes sushi, noodle dishes, pad Thai, and poke, all of which were excellent. We had several dinners at the Sotol restaurant off the lobby. Their menu includes tacos, steak quesadillas, and pasta dishes. Bartender/server Jesus provided great friendly service and made us feel cared for each night when we stopped by for after dinner drinks. Talavera restaurant is where the huge breakfast buffet was each morning, offering a very affordable continental breakfast, or a full breakfast. We found the continental offered more than enough options to satisfy us with lots of great choices including oatmeal with an array of toppings, granola and other cereals, about 20 different types of pastries/breads each day, and a fresh fruit bar. The full breakfast also offered meats, cheeses, custom made breakfast tacos, breakfast cocktails, and a smoothie bar. There's also Los Arcos Roasting Company coffee shop off the lobby, and Starbucks coffee and ice cream available in the Dulce shop near the family pool. This Hilton also has a doctor onsite 24 hours a day. This was a relief to us as one member of our family had an ear ache. The doctor did an exam and diagnosed an ear infection and provided the antibiotics right then and there. The doctor had her come back in the next day for a follow-up and the infection cleared up. A wonderful vacation!

The property is a little dated, but it is meticulously maintained and staffed by very friendly, customer-service-oriented people. "Shout-out' to Ms. Nishme (concierge), Ms. Arely (concierge), Mr. Jesus (Talavera Bar & Restaurant), and Mr. Jiri (Vela Restaurant) for making my stay extremely enjoyable and catering to my daily needs as I bathed in a week of relaxation away from the daily commute and corporate grind. Perched above the resort with spectacular views of the pool and the sea beyond, you will find Jesus at Talavera blending the best margaritas and cocktails within the property, as you enjoy some of the best pub-like entrees and dishes reminiscent of local heritage with modern technique. Indoor-outdoor seating combines for a rustic, stylish , refreshing atmosphere after a day on the beach or poolside. Aside from this dining option, I highly recommend Vela for a romantic evening near the pool, enjoying Italian-influenced seafood, pastas, and meats paired with some eclectic Mexican wines that thrill one's palate. The morning breakfast buffet is quite enjoyable as well, offering Western and Mexican options along with fresh fruits, vegetables, breads, and juices, providing the perfect beginning to a sunny tropical day. Last but not least among the property's treasures are the expansive rooms overlooking the ocean, the numerous shops, and the amazing indoor/outdoor gym with state-of-the-art equipment. Some of the less attractive things about the hotel are the weak, expensive cocktails served poolside, beachside, and everywhere, with prices consistent across all venues and flavors and alcohol content very watered down. Talavera Bar is the only difference. Another notable matter is the 15% service charge on everything! And you find yourself tipping on top of the service charge! As a Diamond member, I receive a complimentary breakfast for two each day, but I was billed $12 service charge and a tip each morning. I would still recommend this hotel as a vacation destination for its beauty, tranquility, and comfortable suites.

The American, Mexican, and Italian food all felt authentic and were consistently good. The resort itself was perfect for us. We rolled up in a private black SUV, got handed frozen blended drinks before we could even unpack, and instantly knew we made the right choice. The room was huge with ice-cold A/C, a ceiling fan, separate tub and shower, and a balcony view that deserved its own Instagram account. The poolside servers were 10/10. The fancy cocktails? Cute... but watered down as heck. Thankfully, we're seasoned all-inclusive people, so we skipped the games and ordered double shots of tequila. The pool is only about 4 1/2 feet deep, and after enough doubles, I'm proud to report that I did not drown. The beach is absolutely stunning, but Mother Nature said, "Look, don't touch." The waves are no joke, so the beach is closed for swimming. Service was amazing everywhere we went. Some of the food had us saying, "ehhhhhhhh..." Overall, it was quiet, romantic, adults-only, and worth every penny. We'd book it again in a heartbeat.

They overlook the mechanical system of a restaurant/bar and a very unfinished area next to the resort. It's very unattractive. Further you do not want to open your doors because of the mechanical sounds from the HVAC system from the restaurant and bar. Second, the resort decided to do major renovations to building four. This includes jackhammering the concrete in the building in the middle of the day. We came for a relaxing vacation and had to deal with room rattling jackhammering in the middle of the day. This was especially bad on the day there were thunderstorms that encouraged people to return to their rooms. With these kinds of renovations, they should not be selling rooms in that building. We paid too much money to have to deal with their renovations. I do not plan to come back here. And I recommend you not book here either. This is not a resort that truly cares about their customers. We all had upgraded to the "Reserve" rooms which is considered their VIP status. We enjoyed all of the food and drinks provided, were able to reserve a cabana every other day, had a personal concierge, and took in all the sights and sounds of Cabo. The restaurant variety was very nice and the food was always delicious. We tried to eat family style at every restaurant we visited so that we would all get a taste of each menu item. The pool area is refreshing and a great place to catch a tan, not a lot of shade unless you're at the pool bar or a chair with umbrella/cabana. The beach area is lovely, also lacking shade unless you grab a beach side cabana, although we never had trouble finding a few free ones. The ocean here is brutal, even at this "only swimmable beach" in Cabo. My 6'5/300lbs husband and other friends were getting tossed around. There's a spa that definitely has some high priced services, but as a reserve member we were able to use the spa sauna, steam room, and pool area with a reservation. Pros/Positives of Paradisus: Great food, wonderful, caring and kind staff members, very enjoyable amenities, a wonderful place to relax. Adults only. Cons/Negatives: Not made for partying, this is a resort made for adult relaxation. Pros of booking Reserve: more access to exclusive lounge and restaurant areas, a personal concierge to guide you, more amenities open to you as well and a private pool area just for reserve members. Cons of booking reserve: Not everything is free with the upgrade. All restaurants still had menu items at an additional cost, even for Reserve members. Personal shout outs: Our concierge Adalberto was very caring and helpful, we appreciated his assistance with reservations and booking a spa date! Pool area staff: Thòmas was very kind and helped me make sure my reserved cabana was near other cabanas in our group. We had great conversations and he was so helpful. Entertainment/Activity staff: Miguel, Enrique, and Victor were so fun and made the pool area my group's favorite hangout area. 2 men from our group won a football AND a fútbol competition at the pool, and these guys kept everything under control for the games and activities. If my husband and I look for another all inclusive resort, this one will definitely be a possible return trip!

Beautiful and spectacular landscapes? Check! Impeccable service? Check! Wonderful food and beverages? Check! You need to catch whatever ride you can get to this resort. My best friend and I found out that August isn't necessarily the best time of the year to visit Cabo San Lucas, but the landscape still spectacular. And with regards to the quality of the food and beverages, I can't say enough about how high of a quality everything was. Sometimes, all-inclusive resorts don't necessarily serve high quality food in every onsite restaurant. You don't have to worry about the Velas Boutique hotel. As my sister Luch would say, everything was beyond stat! I don't know how to express just how wonderful this resort was. And the "Boutique" is the "Adults Only" part of the Grand Velas complex. The regular Grand Velas Los Cabos is a haven for families with everything that a kid could imagine. Picture yourself on a balcony with the ocean in front of you while you sit in your personal hot tub. Then imagine yourself sipping your favorite beverage while the sun rises and sets. Are you there with me? If not, close your eyes and picture it. Yeah, there you go... And if you're looking for a comparison, I've stayed at the St.Regis in Miami and you can't beat this place for the price. Ask for Victor R and Fernanda M for exceptional service!

It seemed like there were many more activities geared toward adults, although unfortunately we weren't able to participate in most of them during our stay. My wife and I spent two nights in 2 BR/2 BA, using our Marriott Vacation Club points, and really enjoyed our stay. All Westin and Sheraton vacation clubs became part of Marriott Vacation Club in 2016, around the same time that Marriott International acquired Starwood Hotels and Resorts (owners of the Sheraton and Westin brand). We came to Cabo to stay at another property, so decided to lengthen our stay by staying at a Westin vacation club property for the first time. About a week before our visit, we got a welcome email and a suggestion to use their shuttle service from/to the airport. It was the first time to the Cabo airport, so decided to use their services, provided by a local company, Baja Pacific, for a fee of $95 USD. It took about 40 minutes, traveling on the main highway going from the airport to Cabo San Lucas. The unit was way bigger than we needed, over 1,206 square feet. It pretty included everything one would need for an extended stay: laundry facilities (stacked washer and dryer); fully equipped kitchen with oven (microwave, convection, air fry combo); electric stovetop and all necessary utensils, pots and pans, including a large kettle to boil water and pitcher in the fridge to dispense. Tap water is not recommended for drinking, so buying bottled water is a necessity. Wifi worked well throughout the property, with fast enough speeds to stream. There is mandatory nightly fees: Room tax - Owner occupancy of MX$354.94; Environmental Tax MX$158.40. Good internet speed of 80 Mbps, enough to stream. There were plenty of channels, with local US channels being from Miami. We came during the low season for Cabo (mid September), allowing most of the common areas to be sparsely used. There are many pools throughout the property, and most were unused. There were plenty of loungers throughout the complex, so didn't have to worry about making sure we got a chair. It's a big property, built on very uneven terrain so getting around the complex could often be confusing. Even though we were told that the adjoining Baja Point property was usable, getting there through the complex required a map. It's just a lot easier to take the beach to it. It's worth going to....our favorite pool was there including a kiddie pool that was great to use to cool off. Towel cards are used to make sure you return beach towels before your leave. The beach was an easy walk down from the hotel, and had plenty of open space. There were no dedicated chairs/umbrellas, but some areas had rock outcroppings which were nice to sit on and gaze at the sea line. The water drops off very quickly, and with the very rough surf, swimming is strongly discouraged. The rule "Don't ever turn your back on the ocean" definitely applies. The water is warm, nice to dip your feet in. We needed to go to our next stay, and decided to use Uber, which worked really well. Uber drivers are not allowed to go inside the guarded gates, but was easy enough to walk outside to pick it up. One was available within 3 minutes, and cost considerably less than what a taxi or hired shuttle would have cost.

A classic Spanish, almost Greek style - there's beautiful tiles all around and lots of colorful flowers in every corridor. The rooms all have a couch, living room area, kitchen with microwave and small fridge, and a small dining area. There's free coffee and creamer and they give lots of water bottles. Restrooms are very modern and pretty. There is hot water. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, soaps are all provided. Towels are changed everyday. There are also robes in the closet + hangars if you need. The service is pretty great here. We asked for multiple things throughout our stay (like a wine opener, straws, etc) and they were super accommodating. Everyone is very very friendly and nice. There's a pool area which was very beautiful. No jacuzzi, but its so hot anyway. You can order meal service by the pool - alcohol, smoothies, cocktails, you name it. We also got a hotel add-on for a picnic - picnic blankets under large beach umbrellas on their grass so you're not sitting directly in the sun. They serve charcuterie, a few bottles of wine, and some delicious chicken sandwiches. The meals here are ok. For dinner, I got the pork belly tacos and the pulled pork tacos. Both were ok but the price is hefty (about $11 per taco)! The free continental breakfast in the mornings is not bad. There's a buffet area with lots of fruit, granola, pastries, and some hummus/chips. You can also order eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. Overall, I'd give their meals a 3/5. The next time I'm in Cabo, I would want to try an all-inclusive resort. But for non-all-inclusive, it was nice to stay here. I recommend it!

The beds were sooo uncomfortable. The pool bar wasn't open the entire time we stayed there, and the pool was painfully cold, to the point where it was uncomfortable to swim in. My husband and I both got sick after eating their fish tacos. And the resort next door had the loudest live entertainment that kept us up all night. I Gave them two stars, because the breakfast was good and the views were amazing! And overall the property was pretty clean. I just wish more people were honest with what I should expect. I wouldn't have booked our wedding anniversary here if I had proper expectations.

This was an above average AI resort. It's on the row of other tourist resorts. So, if you wanted to…read morego out somewhere, you can as it is on a main highway. Nothing in walking distance but you can easily go somewhere. The check-in was easy. Staff was pleasant. But the area has a very strong lavender or something scent. So I walk around the check-in whenever possible to avoid the strong scent. It's a medium size resort with 2 pools. One pool had one slide that goes to a lower level pool but no one went on it. They have a tennis court that we didn't use as it was too hot. There's a kids club but didn't use it. There's an activities group that entertains the guests throughout the day so there's something to do. They offer singing, games, and exercises. I did archery for the first time. Every night they have movie on the beach with some popcorn available. Not many people there for some reason. There's a "night club" but I didn't see anyone there. It was empty but had loud music and disco lights. The food was okay depending on which restaurant you go to. The "world" or "international" buffet was not world or international as it was only western food and no eastern food. Oddly for an AI, they don't want you taking food out. Surprisingly, some restaurants had really good food. The ice cream / coffee cafe wasn't 24/7. Ignore the menu as it isn't correct. You cannot build your own sandwich like it says. All the sandwiches were premade and in a fridge. Ice cream flavors seem to change daily but that isn't available 24 hours. The rooms were fine. The AC was loud. It was either cold or freezing but always noisy. It was disappointing that the mini-bar was just a cheap mini-fridge with some drinks. In other AI's, the mini-fridge was bigger and had alcohol. This was not a mini-bar. They didn't have snacks either. At other AI's, I felt like I was at a resort. Here, it felt like I'm at a hotel. The gift shop was small and expensive. Sunburn lotion was $20 when you can get it for $10 at Target. The gym was nice. It didn't have everything I needed but I made due with what they had. Overall, I may come back. I'm one to try new places to experience more.

Dreams Los Cabos checked all the boxes. Welcome champagne upon arrival. Check-in process was quick as we had paid in advance. They will try to sell you an upgrade and timeshare by offering you free dinner on the beach and massages. Stand your ground and say no, unless you're interested. We were only staying for 3 nights so it wasn't worth it for me. The room was spacious, adequate, and clean. A bit outdated but the bed was comfortable and good hot water pressure for the shower. We also didn't spend much time in the room. The balcony was nice and we were able to watch a sunrise one morning. The mini fridge was replenished each day with bottled water and sodas. There are two pools. I like that there is an adult only pool that's quiet. People are there to relax, read a book and sunbath. The main pool is a bit more crowed with kids, family and daily activities. We did SUP yoga, finger painting and bracelet making. It was a lot fun. The staffs are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We've tried every restaurants on the premises and all very good. I didn't have anything that I didn't like. Oceana is seafood restaurant - get the crab cake and chowder! Portofino is Italian. Bordeaux is French - get the prawn linguine and creme brulee for dessert. We went to Seaside Grill for breakfast and lunch. The Cerviche was amazing! World Cafe is the main dining room buffet style. We had breakfast there twice. It's really catered to family with young kids and no wait time. Not that we had to wait a long time for any of the restaurants because we like to eat early to avoid the crowd. Coco Cafe is 24 hours serving coffee, teas, smoothies, pastries, cakes, cookies and gelato! No reservations needed for restaurants. Each night they have some sort of show and entertainment. I recommend bringing $1s, $5s and $10s to tip the waiters and servers. It goes a long way.
