So happy we have found a local butchershop! We moved to TX from CA almost two years ago and I grew up having a local, family owned butchershop in town and frequented it long into adulthood. Moving to a new state is daunting enough and we had no idea where we would go to purchase meat and the grocery is not a place we prefer. Low and behold, Rancher Fed Beef popped into my Facebook feed with a flyer of their special packages and we were intrigued. We ventured out to find this place and found it in a nondescript location shared with a small gas station. We walked into the tiny shop and were immediately excited to see a myriad of items to choose from. Miss Kelly explained how it all works, so we ordered a package and some extra items. Outstanding steaks! I finally have found a go to place here in Texas to get good meat. I live in Alaska and come down to visit my wife's family at least once a year, and I feel like I struck gold. We bought some New York steaks to grill and hands down those were the best steaks I've had. I love buying local so whether you live in the Granbury "metro" area or are passing thru, and you're looking for good steaks (and they have a lot of other stuff too!), look no further. The location is non-descriptive, right next to a gas station in a small store front. Don't let it fool you. Mike, the meat man, was very friendly, the customer service is friendly and down home. Some of the nicest people you'll meet in Granbury! My wife and I moved down from Kansas and we were looking for another rancher to buy our meat from. My wife saw their advertisement in the Weatherford magazine so, decided to stop by and see what they offered. Glad we did. A great selection, great options for custom orders, and just decent people. Love love this new place in Granbury, Texas. It seems like a hole in a wall, but MAN it has the most fresh food. The employees are helpful and passionate, I love walking in there.
