Her rude side kept sneaking out. But she tried. I always remember "What people say and do says more about them than it does about you...". This place didn't try to be clean. I have em the benefit of the doubt but my wife gave the white glove treatment. She noticed bacon under the display. Dried out cubed steaks. The floor didn't look tidy. Anyway, Glenda says that they let their butcher go (on a Friday?!). Their saw broke. What else could go wrong? Got the NY Strips and some filets mignons and left. Glenda was nice. The meat was GOoOiOd!! Rare is best! I put up some pics. Gotta call em like I see em. Just sayin...

This review has been long overdue, but after the amount of times my family and I have been here,…read moreit's easy to say I can leave this raving review in complete confidence. My family and I have been eating at the butcher shop for a little over a year, pretty much weekly. It's our go to spot. We take our friends and family here anytime we want to treat them to a tasty meal! I have tried most of the items on the menu and truly have never been disappointed. For the longest time, the burger was my go to choice and the patty melt was my husband's go to. Both delicious! But our absolute favorite meal here lately is the brisket sandwich, a Thursday special, and I hate to even share this because I don't want them to sell out of it before we make it there on Thursday nights. It is SO tasty. The brisket is nice and juicy, and the sourdough bun makes for the perfect combination. You can't go wrong with the side you choose - French fries delicious, onion rings delicious, chips - you guessed it, also delicious. Kids meals - the grilled cheese is good, the chicken tenders are top notch. My husband and I often steal a bite of our kids' chicken fingers and every single time we say, "man these are good". Other meals I have tried that are delicious- chicken salad sandwich, hot ham and cheese, beef stew (so good!!!). Appetizers - Texas toothpicks are a must! And if talking about how good their food is wasn't enough to make you plan your next meal here... the staff are so incredibly kind. We love them! My husband and I truly love this restaurant and love everything we've tried. Try it out, but don't eat all the brisket!!

The bread was dry on our sandwiches. The kind of dry that if you hit the bun your fork or knife go thud. The brisket was dry and chewy and the bbq sauce was meh. I was uncomfortable sitting next to a possible owner having drink after drink in the short hour we were there. Being local I was hoping this would be a hit but $47 for two sandwiches and one side each plus a piece of sausage this was a miss.
