I'm not even lighting the charcoal grill! At 7:30 Saturday morning, I'm in Perrin, Texas, Population 398, one flashing light, and not a soul in sight. I hit the deli for breakfast burritos. Not the ones under the heat lamp, he made them fresh. Bacon, egg, and cheese, and Chorizo, egg, and cheese. Omg, so good! And good hot sauce too. Saturday afternoon, back to the deli for bacon cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings, and tator tots. Best tator tots I've ever had! And the burgers were great! They have 3 or 4 tables if you want to sit a minute. People behind the counter were helpful and friendly. Yes, they've got gas and all that convenience store stuff. If your on highway 281 north of Mineral Wells, stop!

With a smile though and a look at my doggo he knew why I wanted it, took the time to get one and didn't charge me. He could have charged me the price of an ice cream or something but he chose not too. What's that mean for qt? Did they loose out on 25 cents of whipped cream? Not at all. I go out of my way to come to this qt, this isn't the first time they have given my doggo a "pup cup" but this is where I get my gas and everything else. I never spend less than 60 bucks when I come here. Small gestures and smiles go along way. I appreciate the staff here.

Went and tried their slushee but it seems to be out of whack. Even putting a glove on and sticking her finger up the chute there(reminded me of a vet checking your dog). Needless to say nope didn't work. Told her thanks I'll just get a drink. She walked off and no one ( total of 3 employees) didn't put a sign that it was broken in it. So I grab a 32oz cup and get a fountain drink. I go up to the counter and she looks puzzled. She says that this cup isn't for fountain drink so I say that's ok no bigee I'll still take it. Well she rings it up and it almost $9.00!!! I said "What"?? She said it was like $8.78 or something like that. I told her it was just a fountain drink. She said they are the clear plastic ones. I asked for them to show me. It's not even close to the fountain drinks. The one I got is right below the fountain drink dispenser so it would seem these are the ones!! The other ones are on the other side of another drink dispenser!!! What a scam!!! Other places to get drinks. I told them nope it's yours I'll go some place else....have fun!!!
