Stopped in yesterday for a Mother's Day meal. We sat at the bar. Service was great from our bartender. We got our app really quick. Fried pickles. They were fried crisp and not too salty. My husband got a steak and I got chicken fried chicken. My husband thought his steak was one of the best he has had in the area. I unfortunately only took a bite of my chicken fried chicken because it took over 45 mins to get my food so I asked for it to go. I had eaten the pound of fried pickles and the all you can eat salad bar. Salad bar was a great concept just needs the employees to tend to it more often. I was really excited to eat here. It had been recommended many times and the salad bar is supposedly like the old Kbobs! The restaurant was in a weird location and no true signs that I saw. But it is a large restaurant and awesome patio with room for the kids to play. However, the food was not as good as I had hoped. Everything was under seasoned, needed a few more minutes of cooking time, and just a bit blah. The service was okay, food came out quick but drinks took a while to be refilled. The salad bar was well stocked but all the kids allowed to serve really turned me off. When we were leave a child licked the spoon to the pudding and stuck it back in. So close! Not just close to home but BM hits so close on so many levels. They are just a really good DIY try at making a country steakhouse. Some pretty good dishes and great prices plus nice folks and atmosphere albeit loud when its full. Cheapest beer and best salad in town but the TVs at the bar are way too high so watchin the game here is a neck breaker and for some reason they placed a LED right under each tv which makes it even harder to watch the game. Decent meal. We ate here a few weeks ago with 2 other couples. The place was busy. We had to wait about an hour to get a table for 6. The issue was that while there were 2 tables next to each other they could push together for us, the tables were each in another server's area. That was pretty frustrating for us. I know there needs to be equitably between servers but I'd have thought the hostess could have figured a way to make it work. Once we were seated, our server was very attentive and took great care of us. We ordered drinks and food and went to the salad bar while we waited for food. I like their 'small but mighty' salad bar. I chatted with the gal working that night who was responsible for keep it refilled and cleaned up. She does a great job. I ordered a platter of onion rings for the table. Really good! Most of ordered steak meals and were pleased with them. Our filet was ordered medium rare and was served medium. It did have the right flag in it from the kitchen, so it was ordered right. The server had a replacement steak made and it was done correctly and was tasty. We have just moved away from Weatherford, otherwise, we would come back to Beefmaster. read more

Ran into this place when we were in town and wow the food is great! Service is wonderful! We had our newborn puppy in a box so we had to sit in the patio understandably, but although It was beautiful outside very nice to hang out It was very hot and the flies were annoying. They did put a little circular device to deter the fly but It didn't work. I had the mushroom chicken wow best I've ever had! I got It with a side of sweet potato yum! Their sweet tea is really good , and their salad bar was really good. Great prices!!! Instead, the waitress informed us we'd need to pay an additional $8 for a second salad bar "setup," despite the fact that I wouldn't be eating a single bite of it. Paying a surcharge for food that would go completely untouched felt less like a policy and more like a cash grab dressed up as procedure. At that point, the experience stopped feeling hospitable and started feeling petty. Beefmasters has always treated us well in the past, which made this especially disappointing. We were in Weatherford for 2 months taking care of a relative. Beef master quickly became our favorite spot. It has been a long time since I saw a Salad Bar and I was pleasantly surprised to really enjoy the Salad Bar. The soups were home made and the all the salad choices were on spot. They had several "southern specialty" salads that I had not eaten since a child. Think green pea salad with cheese...your Mom may have made it for you and insisted that you eat it...They are a classic steak house with Shrimp, Catfish, Salmon and Chicken on the menu alongside meat classics. The bartenders recognized us by our second or third visit and they easily made some of the best drinks I have had in ages. The food was always hot, not salty (request for no grill spices was always honored) and we never had a bad meal. Once a Rib Eye my husband was cutting into had a lot of connective tissue, more than you really want in a good steak. The food was pretty good. I had meatloaf and the salad bar. My friend had a hamburger. We got onion rings for an appetizer they were very good, but the service was terrible. Our waitress took our order for the onion rings and then never ever put our food order in. Every table in that restaurant had eaten besides us and we were there way before most of them. I felt like I was sitting in the school cafeteria. Lots of noise due to the open dining area, and the amount of people on a concrete floor in a metal building. We had a date afternoon and decided to go to Beefmaster's for lunch. We got there right around 12:45 and the parking lot was crowded. My biggest complaint about this place would be the parking lot. They're just really isn't enough. We were seated quickly and it didn't take the waitress long to come take our drink order. The menu was fairly extensive, with lots of selections from both chicken beef pork. They do have lunch specials during the week. They have an all you can eat salad bar and soup. The soup is homemade there are usually two different kinds. Today was potato soup and jalapeño soup and they were both delicious. Do yourself a favor and do not count calories here. Nothing was low calories. It was all rich and delicious . My wife got the blackened chicken and mashed potatoes. I got the full size chicken fried steak and french fries. The chicken was OK. Just OK. On the other hand, the chicken fried steak was outstanding!! good healthy beef tenderized coated in a golden crispy batter. In my humble opinion, this was one of the best chicken fried steaks I have had in years. (Including Mary's Café out in Strawn, Texas). Unfortunately, they were out of the Texas sheet cake so I did not get any dessert. This looks like a great place to eat! Busy but organized chaos! They have a great all you can eat salad bar with fresh greens! I enjoyed it so much and it comes with every meal. I ordered Salmon with zucchini both were great! Cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection! My party also ordered the rib-eye steak and chicken fried steak. I was told the ribeye was overly seasoned and that it was a poor quality of steak. The steak rating was 2/5 at most. The chicken fried steak was a 4/5. The pie was amazing! read more

Upon entering the restaurant you can see a person in obvious discomfort from a recent injury. She's very pleasant and it just so happens she is a manager who injured herself when jumping out of plane! We had a very pleasant conversation with her.
