I had a really disappointing experience here. My partner and I walked in and spent about 10 minutes browsing, and not a single employee acknowledged us. No greeting, no "we'll be right with you," nothing. The staff looked right at us multiple times but acted as if we weren't even there. It honestly felt very unwelcoming and a bit snobby. When you walk into a retail store, especially one that sells higher-end items, basic customer service should be the bare minimum. A simple hello or offering help goes a long way. Instead, the atmosphere felt cold and pretentious, like we were inconveniencing them by being in the store. After waiting around and continuing to be ignored, we decided to leave and went across the street to McKinney Hat Company. The difference was night and day. We were greeted immediately, the staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Because of that experience, we happily purchased three hats there. It's unfortunate because we were fully intending to buy hats here as well, but customer service matters. If the staff treated customers with a little more kindness and professionalism, they'd probably make a lot more sales. As it stands now, the experience felt snobby and uninviting, and we won't be returning. read more

One of my daughters went to their location in Nashville but didn't have time to purchase. She was excited that there was a location in Dallas so she could buy one. Her sister also got one. I was a bit concerned that it was going to be super expensive after pricing a custom hat at a different chain store in Prosper. The other store was like $10 for each branded item and $15 for a ribbon. Rancher Hat Bar included the brand for free. They had a deal this week that was 15% off. My family said they didn't get the person's name that helped them but that she was so nice and really went out of her way to make sure they were taken care of today. read more

They have a large selection of colors and styles of hats and additions, so it can be overwhelming, but it was so nice to have someone there to help guide me. I took my daughter and her friends here for her 16th birthday to do a hat experience. They all really enjoyed it. Just make sure you go with a budget in mind unless you really do not care.
