I had them add freon to the A/C and check the tire pressure. $137 latter the headlights were not touched, the cap to the line were the freon is added was missing and the car then over heated. I was having an issue with my car, VW diesel, of no power. Three mechanics had said the issue was…read morethe transmission, it wouldn't go passed 40 mph. I replaced it with a used transmission, still had the same issue so the mechanic then said that the turbo was out and needed replacing. I even took it to a VW dealership for a diagnostic to make sure. They said the same thing. It was extremely expensive so we were trying to decide whether we wanted to spend the money on this 2006 vehicle when I was told to take it to Dan's Auto. They found the real issue, the valve on the EGR cooler was broken which didn't allow any pressure to build up in the turbo to run. It cost me 1/3 the amount it would have cost to replace the turbo. The dealership hadn't said anything about the EGR cooler valve. Dan's Auto has now earn a life long customer! Thank you JR and Kyle!!!!​

I got new brakes for my new tires at an even better price because it was done at once and with care which means the most. I was informed and educated on the lifecycle of my vehicle and was given recommendations on how to best take care of my 13 year old ride.
