This country fruit and veggie stand is quite nice. There are many such stands in this area, all visible as you travel eastward from Manteca on Hwy 120, but after stopping at 4 of them, this one impressed me as having far better quality than most, and more choices. They carry beautiful, locally grown produce, but they have so much more to offer. Our first great find here was their fresh and frozen fruit pies made by The Pie Company, a well-known, local business located in nearby Ripon. We are already big fans of this pie manufacturer because they supply their frozen pies to some of the larger Ace Hardware stores in our area, too. We live in So Cal, but we can pick up the exact same pies they make and sell here in Ripon/Manteca. We swear by them, especially the peach, apricot, and blackberry. They taste homemade and are piled full of naturally ripened fruit with very little sugar so the fresh fruit flavors shine through. While the crust is more thick than I usually prefer, I decided their crust is one of the better ones. Such a treat! Another find here was the wonderful array of flavored vinegars and honeys. The fig balsamic vinegar is amazing. So good, we returned the next day to bring a few more bottles home with us. There are several local brands to choose from. And then, check out the refrigerator section. If you see products from Long Ranch, this is a local pig ranch that has prize-worthy, thick cut, perfectly smoked bacon that has brought me to tears. Their bacon is heavenly. If I ever get a do-over, I would grab some of everything I see from this Ranch. Since we were on a road trip, we grabbed a few snacks. The sesame sticks, packaged under their own label, are so fresh and delicious. They have many other snack options that carry their label. Bet they are all really good. I am so impressed with the quality of the products they sell, I only wish I lived closer. I'd be a regular here. read more

I have been coming here on a regular though not often basis for well over 30 years. I do not live in Manteca but travel through often. I have always loved this fruit stand. But whereas they have always been on the high side, they had a great selection. But there is a difference between being a tad high, and what they are now. Wanting to be profitable is understood. Acting greedily is not. I would say their prices today are 20-50% high, with more on the 50% side than not. It is inexcusable. I kept them at 2 stars because they are still a nice stand. But their prices and greed have taken them from 4 or even 5 stars to 2. I won't be back. I don't do business with people who go this route. read more

Finished playing a softball tournament in Ripon and my teammates said there's a nearby fruit stand that sells great pies so I followed them down there. It's at the corner of Jack Tone Rd and 120 highway, pretty busy corner traffic wise. Lots of cars in the parking lot so good location! They have lots of probably locally grown fresh fruits and packages of nuts/kettlecorn/trail mix also! But back to what brought us here: fruit pies! And there's a ton of them in an assortment of fresh fruit flavors! I noticed apple, peach, strawberry rhubarb, blueberry, blackberry, boysenberry, mixed berries, apricot, cherry, and probably a few others but since I'm a berries lover I got the boysenberry. Here's where I have mixed feelings: the pies are visually well made using a hand formed buttery crust and lightly sprinkled sugar topping; give it a 4.5 out of 5. The boysenberry filling was very flavorful but too gooey imo, if the chefs cut back on the thickening agent it would be much better; 2.5 out of 5. The cooked outer crust could have been a bit darker/browner but it was cooked through. I would consider another try because I love fruit pies, maybe it was a mistake. And if the return trip for a boysenberry pie ended up being the same, the next one would be apple or something. As they say, YMMV read more

As usual, the place is well stocked, and the staff super friendly. The prices are reasonable and th place is is to get to and park. The pork products are absolutely fabulous. My favorite is the pork chops. It's a weekly stop for me during their season and I anxiously await their 2026 opening. read more

Fresh grown California produce is what you find here. I come here for the walnuts. It 's the packaging, labeling and store staff. The nuts are as fresh as you can buy them and processed perfectly. These are what you put into your cookies and anything else requiring walnuts. I was blown away that for $20, I can get a 5lb bag. My friends will be receiving 5 lbs. each as a gift! You can buy from other local stands but we like this one the best. Super helpful and friendly staff. There's something for everyone here! Bonus material, mostly for my friend John. Parking is great! This used to be Nature's Country Corner until last year. I used to drive out there to get my fresh pies and fruit. Although you can buy the same pies but frozen at Ace Hardware, you just can't beat a fresh baked pie. The fruit stand gets a daily shipment of fresh pies. You might have to go out earlier in the day. We went right after lunch and they were out of certain fruit pies. I bought a fresh peach cobbler which was fresh, nice topping, good crust and peaches with a little crunch. They don't put as much filling as they used to but it was still a very good pie. I bought an apple cobbler for a friend and he said it was excellent. I also bought some firm peaches that are just starting to ripen. The first one I ate was very good. Although it takes a little over an hour to get there, when I'm craving fresh pie I will made the drive. If I'm feeling lazy, I'll head over to the local Ace hardware and buy a frozen one. A small little local produce market in Manteca that is worth supporting. Every vegtable and fruit there is fresh. I was impressed by the sizes of some of their oranges and strawberries. Prices are reasonable too. It was also surprisingly busy when I went too. Staff are super friendly and the shelves are stocked so neatly. They also have delicious pies and kettle corn popcorn which is a must have. Parking is also very easy. If you are nearby then this is a better option than just going to a supermarket for produce. read more

I came specifically for the apple pie. I enjoyed the filling but was disappointed with the crust. Perhaps it's the fact that I was advised that they had a good Apple pie here. Not that the crust was bad but I just had higher expectations. I was hoping for a good homemade crust. I did buy some pluots and nectarines here though. The pluots were so so but the nectarines were really good. It's also nice that out here in Manteca the fruit prices are lower than the bay area and that's a plus. This is a popular market. read more

We come here on our way to Arnold and while they have a lot of good fruit and vegetables I do not recommend ever buying raspberries or strawberries here. As soon as we get home we notice that they always have mold growing on them. I am not sure if they rinse their fruit? I am not sure they should as that starts the process for them being too wet and growing mold. I will only get non berries here from now on when I stop as I have had many bad batches of berries from this place. I have had better luck at Costco with fresh berries lasting more than one day. read more

Dropped by on 4/10/25. They had a good selection of citrus for just 99 cents a lb. Picked up a bunch of different kinds and the quality (taste, freshness) is noticeably better than what I've been getting from our farmers markets in the Bay Area. Also purchased a 10lb bag of raw almonds and the quality again is very good. Sweet and dense with no bad nuts so far. read more
