They cleaned it up to look and run great today, but definitely take anything you buy here to a mechanic you trust, and don't buy anything here unless you're ready to spent a little fixing it up. Don't get me wrong, Randy's a great guy, but he's selling you a serviceable car, not a perfect one to be a daily driver for your college-bound kid.

Showed us the car, provided all the maintenance records for the car (CARFAX) and let us take it for a test drive. We loved the car for her and felt very comfortable dealing with Randy. It's not your stereotypical used car lot and Randy is not that shady salesman you all know. He's a truly nice man and you can see that within the first few minutes. He cut us an amazing deal and took care of us through and through. It's too bad she lives in Arizona because Randy is also an honest mechanic (don't find them too often) and I wish she would be closer if she needed that. All in all we spent more time enjoying good conversation with Randy than we did for the transaction. Transaction took about 10 minutes but we could've spent all night chatting with such a nice humble guy. The world needs more like him. I don't recommend too many people but this one is special.

I needed a rear main seal, and much more, along with a host of other issues. I finally brought it in, and they handled everything with incredible skill. Their mechanics are truly superior. While they might cost just a little more than some other shops, you absolutely get what you pay for here: peace of mind and quality work. The communication is great Loren called me almost every day to check in and give me status updates. She would walk me through other items that needed attention and provide a quote immediately, leaving the choice entirely up to me with zero pressure. My Tahoe came back to me absolutely perfect--everything fixed, including the minor issues I hadn't even listed. On top of that, they just finished work on my 2003 Camaro. They cleared the check engine light and finally fixed a complex front-end steering issue caused by a previous accident that other shops couldn't resolve. RAE Automotive are professionals who are polite and clearly know what they are doing. I have both my cars back, and they are both running perfectly. They are my mechanics for life and I will never switch!

I'm not sure who specifically worked on my car, but it has been running great since, and I haven't had any issues. I will definitely be coming back to this shop for future maintenance!! Thank you guys!

But I kept procrastinating because I couldn't stomach the thought of going to a dealership and spending too much time with the back and forth haggling....Then I read a post on NextDoor where someone raved about using the services of an auto broker named Branco Motors. So I thought to myself, "Why not try them out"? instead of going through the Costco buying service that I'd been contemplating using. I spoke with Grant Ruthenberg and told him the model I was interested in. He explained the he receives a fee from the dealership but he'd be working to get me the best price. He got back to me the very next day with what I was looking for. Ever the skeptic, I ran his proposal and the invoice through ChatGPT and asked if I'd gotten a reasonable deal. ChatGPT answered, "FINAL VERDICT: This is a fair, clean, and pretty good deal. You could spend weeks calling dealers and possibly not do better. You're not being overcharged. The numbers match reality. And the transparency is excellent." So who was I to argue? I told Grant to go ahead with the purchase and he told me the car could be delivered the next day. I was informed about the ETA of delivery and given a more precise ETA as they had more info (the car was coming from Riverside and I'm in Bonita). Grant had me sign the paperwork and explained what I was signing when questions arose. I gave him the check and then we went out, sat in the SUV and he explained all the new features. He set up the Apple CarPlay and paired my garage door opener so that I no longer had to use the remote. When I no longer had questions about the Palisade he graciously moved my very heavy dog crates to the new car! Above and beyond! This is the best car buying experience I've had in my 71 years and I will be recommending Branco Motors to anyone in the market for a new car.

I've been a CA resident for 18 years, and a Ramona resident for 15 years. Ramona tire has been my go-to tire supply store for all my truck and trailer needs for over 12 years, maybe 15 years. My wife experienced a flat tire in her 2010 Toyota Camry, west bound out of town on the 67. She installed the donut spare after pulling off down a side street, drove the half mile/mile to Ramona tire pros, arrived at 4:40 and was turned away after it was explained to my wife and I that there was too little time to replace the flat with a fresh tire on the wheel. The associate and point of contact was Ashley. I asked if they could simply swap the tires on the wheel and I would drive down in my pickup and place the tire on the vehicle myself. Ramona tire Pros was presented with an opportunity to be "The Hero", instead they turned my wife 'n kids away because they refused to turn their air compressor back on maybe work 5-10 minutes over time and save the day. Again they said there was too little time. We end up making a phone call, park the vehicle in the parking lot, I pick them up, drive to Poway Discount tire, pick up a freshy, drive back 'n replace the tire myself in the parking lot. I'm moving on after 12/15 years. Discount tire is now my go-to nation wide tire supply store. I will say, if Brad was there, they would have done the work and helped me out instead of giving an excuse. Super disappointed and shocked. The owner is great, the employees are not. Moving on. I'm fed up with the employees at both Oil-Changers and Ramona Tire Pros. The employees at both of these businesses are kids that care very little. They've lost a loyal customer. A little effort and professional pride goes a long way, unfortunately that's rare these days. ** Feb 11, 2026 ...this is why I am now loyal to Discount Tire. As long as I'm in the door by six, they will help me. They are nation wide as well. Ten minutes, the tire was already off the vehicle. In the time it took the manager and staff to turn my wife and kids away, the work could have been done. It wasn't necessary to place the tire back on the vehicle. This is laziness in my opinion.
