Called Roland about a car today, letting him know I was in Houston. I asked him to tell me about…read morethe car and whether the car was salvaged. The price was good but not enough to were you thought it might be salvaged (classic salvage dealer trick). He quickly assured me that it was not. He knew a good bit about the model of the car but wasn't extremely forthcoming on the specific car there. I pulled up the CarFax later (it's always nice to see if a dealer will be forthcoming with your first, if the car is on their lot, they should know the history). Car pulled up clean....with the exception of 6 previous owners in 4 years (4 during a 16 month period). This is an obvious case of a classic title wash. Used car facilities have their ways. Roland was about to have me come all the way from Houston for a salvaged vehicle. Later I googled the VIN and sure enough found it in the web archive of a salvage auction site. This place is atypically corrupt, even for a used car lot.

I will spend my money elsewhere, thank you for not wasting my time, Your Choice Car!…read more David, our salesguy, was not forthcoming when it came to disclosing the status of a particular vehicle's title. Edmunds.com shows their list price as above True Market Value, so I assumed this car had unlisted extras. Unlisted extras, such as a salvage title! The hell you gonna ask more than market value for a car that has a salvage title? How is this place still open? How is this salesman still working? No loss, however, it's a buyer's market. This is just a fair warning to you car buyers ... Arm yourself with information and ALWAYS ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS (such as: Does this have a clean title? May I have the VIN so I can do a CarFax? Does David still work there? Because he sucks a--) -- http://www.edmunds.com/tmv.html

Another GREAT experience here at FORD TRUCK OF MIRAMAR! I have a F700 moving truck I just bought…read more I had my mobile mechanic do some work on the truck, he had me replace the alternator, battery and spark plugs. Who knows if that was the problem or more of a guessing game that so many mechanics play. Well it turns out, I wish I would have came to the Miramar Truck Service department sooner! :) My mechanic had me do all that work trying to fix problems with the truck dying and not starting. I call this shop and drop my truck off same day as my call. Leave it with them as long as they need, while still crossing all of my fingers hoping it's not something major. Paul calls me every couple hours to give me updates, thanks for that! I brought it here because its a FORD TRUCK SERVICE DEPT, thats what they specialize in! My problems were the truck not starting, once starting it would turn off from opening truck doors, the speedometer would jump all over the place, and fuel problems. Turns out it was a simple problem that they found in 20 minutes. Whoever owned the truck before me, had the WRONG alternator belt in the truck, was too large and causing the alternator not to charge the battery and low voltage, basically throwing everything out of whack. They kept the truck 2 days to make sure there were no other major problems, to take it for some test drives and make sure it was dialed in. I was expecting to be charged the extra day, which I wasn't! AWEEESSSOOOMMMMEEE! Best $265 I have spent in a LONG TIME! Most dealership service departments are known to gouge the customer. I think these guys are top notch and really took care of me. Pointed out some little things on the truck that I should get tuned up and they will for sure see my business when it comes time to those things done.

Had our company truck repaired, but they denied our check, because they use a check processing…read morecompany, United Tranzactions, that is inept and said we had written a bad check, when in fact we had not, and it was United Trazactions error. Not worth the hassle doing business with either of these businesses.
