Sweet, gentle man. I felt like I hit the jackpot when I found Ramirez's tailoring shop. He adores short customers because he's short himself! I love his cheerful attitude and it's always a joy to step into his shop. The first time I went in there, he hemmed the jeans I was wearing that day right on the spot. He knows just how to please his customers! I left him with about 8 pairs of jeans and a couple of other tops/dresses. They were done the next week! I found this review on yelp and all I have to say is THANK YOU!!! I was in a total bind - was leaving for a wedding the next day and I really needed to get my very expensive BCBG dress hemmed. I called and asked if I could come in right away and drop it off. When I arrived, I felt a bit rushed as he was just leaving the store to run an errand. He quickly had me try on the dress and marked it. I was hesitant because he was closing in two hours, currently leaving, and I wasn't sure if he exactly got it right. He told me to come back by 4:30 because he was leaving at 5:00. I arrived at about 4:15 and it was done. I tried it on and it was a perfect hem job! He even fixed the hook and eye clasp near the zipper at no extra charge. It was $35 but well worth me stepping on a ripping my dress. I will refer everyone I know to this man. Like everyone mentioned, when you first walk in, you instantly see clothing everywhere (I was a little worried about mine being lost in the tornado of it all!). BUT since I was forewarned through Yelp, I dropped off about 20 items. It took me longer to put the pants on, than it did for my measurements to be taken. He was very friendly, had excellent prices and had everything ready for me in 3 days!! And I have to say that he did the best job! All threads matched *you'd be amazed at how often a tailor will use a generic color for everything!!*, everything was perfect- my clothes looked just as they did in the store (only my size). ONLY reason I give Ramirez a 4 star is that you need to make sure you tell him if you need it finished in a certain time frame. This maybe the happiest tailor I have ever seen. He is a little man with a needle and a CAN DO attitude. He charges very reasonable rates. If you need your clothing hemmed and you live in PB you have no reason not to go here. read more

Funniest guy ever, tailors my clothing perfectly and always delivers even when I need it ASAP

This place is probably the jankiest and messiest tailor I've ever seen/heard of but you can be damn sure he does good work. His prices are amazingly cheap for the time it takes it for him to do an order and the quality of his work is top notch. I used to go to Mr. Ramirez for all my tailoring before I moved. Do not be alarmed when he measures you. It looks like he barely takes two glances at you and he is done measuring but the cut always comes out perfect. My only complaint about him is that sometimes he'll tell you he can get the work done in 3 days but he takes 4. Most of the time I'm not in a rush to get my stuff tailored but every now and then its get annoying. Just make sure to call him before you make a trip out there to check if he's finished with your order. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE... I will never go back.. and suggest that no one else does either. I took in a pair of football pants for altering. Needed them for my game in 10 days. I was told it would take about a week, and they would be finished on Wed or Thurs and he would call me (game was Sat, so this was OK). NO call. so on Fri I go in to pick them up.... he tells me they are not done and come back tomorrow. Not great, but OK. I go in Sat to pick them up, he tells me that it is "too much work" and they have not been altered... AT ALL... NOTHING... So now I had to play my football game is pants that were WAY too big and looked pathetic.... Thanks for screwing me . I could not believe the lack of respect... If you cant do it.. let me know so I can go somewhere else.... Even on Friday... give them back and tell me... Not wait to hrs before my game to tell me.... Great work, but you need patience. I got some things fixed the other week and he did an excellent job. BUT, I had to go in four times over a five day period because each time, the things weren't ready. Previous experiences haven't been like this, but I've been told by others they've had to come back more than once. Soooo, just be ready for that. read more

Super nice and very affordable. Hes on the 3rd floor right infront of the elevator, go down and to the left. He hemmed my pants, fixed the clasp, and tapered the legs for about 14$. It also was ready in only 1 hour! I did notice some loose threads that i trimmed when i got home but it was not a problem.
