A hidden gem!!! A must see for anyone who is willing to take part in the local flavor and vibes!! A beach front, casual fish market with many options but we are very grateful we stopped at Ramada Tomas (family owned and operated) Where do I start??? Service is exceptional, from the moment we sat down we were provided with great service and infinite attention. My husband was given the choice to select the fish he wanted grilled, (we ordered the "pescado sareandado" - our waiter/chef Jose recommended 1 large fish to share) while we waited, we were served coronas and fresh mango/cucumber with Mexican powdered chili. Minutes later, we were serenaded by the mariachi and totally worth it!! Music was excellent and they were not pushy at all... very professional. Shortly after, our feast arrived... and boy were we blown away!!! The fish was grilled/smoked to perfection, extremely flavorful. Jose grills/smokes the fish with butter and garlic then throws on their special signature sauce and Bam!! The best fish we've ever had and we've been to many fish markets around the world but this place tops them all. So good that we asked for their recipe in hopes to be able to mimic this perfect dish back at home. Truly unforgettable experience!! And as if this experience couldn't get any better, Jose's wife Martha was so kind to offer us a delicious desert of "platano frito" - fried sweet plantains with sweet condensed milk.
