I wish there was a split star option. This place is just what it needs to be, a reasonable price-wise place to stay. Straight forward, free parking and clean basic rooms. This whole property is currently under construction, and I wish they had some way of communicating that. Lots of work being done, sheets, closed or open rooms getting re-modeled. Which was a turn off, but not staying to stay on property this trip, so it wasn't a deal breaker. Rooms are basic, as I said, but big TV, not too hard to work, double room has a big bathroom, and beds are really comfortable and passed the smell and visual test. Mini fridge actually worked and room for some to-go food and a couple drinks or bottle of wine. We didn't eat breakfast at the buffet, but looked okay, with your basic fare. And there are some lobby snacks available for purchase. I'd stay here again, as the price is right at around $180 a night including all fees and tax. read more

Not telling people that the building is under major construction when booking and that they have to use a side door as the main entrance (check in is at a table in the hallway) is just amazing. My room was also not vacuumed at all, maybe not in a while. Either that, or their vacuums no longer work right. My toilet seat is also not tightened down (and it definitely wasn't because they were cleaning around the connections), or broken. They also left me a nice pube in my toilet. Something that looks like poop smeared on the front of the bathroom counter. Just all around a great experience. Of course, I've gone past the time that I can get a refund to go somewhere else. read more

This place was hard to find. There must be a Ramada sign somewhere.The hotel is being remodeled. Our room has already been done and it will be very nice when ready, which it is not. There was a stop work order on the front door.The front desk clerk was sassy. There was only one luggage cart for the whole hotel. The ice machine was defunct . Our room was just fine in general but we had no drinking glasses. We called the desk to ask for some but there was no answer. The refrigerator was warm. It can only be turned on for two hours then off for eight. There was no coffee maker. There was hot water in the shower but not in the sink. I think they should close the whole hotel down and not re-open until they're ready. It could be a nice place. Our experience reinforces a previous impression that Wyndham never heard of quality control. read more

I should have read the reviews before staying there. When we arrived the lobby was being demolished, literally. Hanging plastic to contain the debris from the limited front desk area. 1st floor hallway to the elevators was a combination of plywood sheets, a patchwork of existing floor and new tiles. Luggage or no luggage - not safe. Loud demo noise from 8:00 ish - 5:00p on the Saturday we were there. We were told upon arrival that the demo is 7 days a week. No mention of renovation on their website or reservation line. Poor customer service and relations. Wyndham/Ramada upper management not very responsive. Blah blah blah. read more

Tip: Make sure to NOT make the turn that goes to Jimmy John's as it does not lead to the hotel and they don't let you park there. Overall: I've come to learn that all Ramada Hotels are outdated compared to other hotel lines. While this may be the case, of the two that I've stayed at, this one is by far the best. Location: One word, great! It's by I-5 with a 76 gas station across the street and Sharis on the other. Parking: Bad but not horrible. They have limited parking in the front of the hotel. There is parking on the side with minimal light which is extremely nerve racking having the heavy foot traffic on the streets. Room: I got the suite which was decent with the bedroom having it's own separate room. The "living room" light is non-existing and they use a lamp to compensate for it to give you an idea of how old the hotel is. The nice part is you do have a TV in the living room and bedroom. Breakfast: Items like waffles, cereal, toast, boiled eggs and fruits. Nothing spectacular. The scrambled eggs with green pepper wasn't good at all, it looked like tofu. read more

Dishonest business. I booked here because I had back surgery and after a long drive needed their hot tub. Imagine my surprise when I was told it had been down for "months" and would be down many more. Nowhere do they tell you this when booking. Husband and I took almost a 3 week vacation from California to Vancouver Canada and then back to Cali. Throughout the course of our vacation, we stayed at 4 hotels. I'm starting from worse to best. This being the worst. When booking my hotels I usually do my research and check reviews. I didn't really do that with this hotel since it was not in our plans. Booked rather quickly because we were tired and needed to rest. The hotel looks decent from the outside and in the lobby but once you get to the room, it's pretty run down. There was a moldy foul smell in the room, actually there was some mold forming on the ceiling, the carpet was dirty, the bathroom was also dirty. The toilet was not properly clean, there was residue outside of the toilet seat. I felt so dirty sleeping here. The appliances and room are out of date, defiantly needs a face lift. The price was a little expensive at $150 for 1 night, considering how filthy it was and not being up to date . I've stayed at Motel 6 that were cleaner. At least the room was spacious, bed was comfy (maybe it's cause we were exhausted), free parking, pool (but even that was closed due to the pool being "chemically imbalanced") , free breakfast (didn't wake up on time for it but they have b-fast) and it's walking distance from a Domino's Pizza. Some mixed yelp reviews over the years but we also noticed this place scores really well on other hotel rating sites (9.2) so we thought we'd give it a try. And it was excellent!! Beautiful and really clean lobby. Staff had us all checked in really quickly. Our room was large, well stocked with amenities, and very clean. Very quiet even though the main street out front is pretty busy. Lots of parking around the perimeter of the building but I'd probably try to park around the front because it seems better lit. We didn't try the pool but it looked good and lots of kids were having fun in there. Breakfast in the morning had a good variety of stuff - cereal, pastries, eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. Overall, really satisfied with the stay and we'd recommend it to anyone. read more

The room wasn't very clean. I took photos of someone else's hair in the bathtub. I stayed here because of the hotel gym. Lovely photos. Free weights. Almost every piece of equipment was broken. The cables had snapped long ago. The attachment pieces were missing. Lots of pieces were on the ground like there had been an attempt to gather all of the broken pieces at some point, but there was no maintenance person who know how to make anything work. Free weights were missing. The gyms at nearby hotels with fewer pieces of equipment would have been better. I couldn't piece together a workout here. Breakfast was good. Front hotel staff was good. When I told them there was a dead rat in the parking lot next to my park they took care of it wasn't there when I got back. They must be doing some kind of construction because workers were outside my window all day. First making loud construction noises and then talking loudly while on a break and smoking. I've stayed in Lacey a lot and this is the first time I've stayed at the nice hotel -- the Ramada. The whole area has changed. A homeless encampment is across the street. Lots of trash and tents. It's worth mentioning that it is possible to walk straight in the front door and onto the elevator without being stopped by anyone. The front desk is not always occupied. There is no security. The elevator does not require a key. I showed these photos to the front desk. They did not know if there was a maintenance person. Overall impressed with the friendliness of the staff and breakfast but nothing else. read more

We booked for 2 nights to avoid problems that come with low end lodgings but guess what we just paid more for nothing! Shortly after checking into our room the toilet wouldn't flush. The concierge lady came up & gave us a plunger to fix it ourselves. [REALLY ?] An hour later the manager came up saying his maintinace person didn't show up to work that day! [REALLY x2 ?] He said he will work on it & it should be good by the time we come back to our room, we went out & when we returned as we strolled through the lobby the manager said "it is better now" but it wasn't [REALLY x3 ?]. read more

This last stay was pretty unpleasant as this Hotel is non smoking, But as I could smell in my room was smoke. The front desk didn't seem too concerned about it either. My other concern is the fake CBD products they started selling now and failing to I.D who purchases them. God forbid a minor purchases them It is a complete waste of money. My biggest issue with this hotel is the cleanliness and how run down it is. Spent a week here. I will include pictures; but the deadbolt lock thing was broke, so that was unable to be used. A handle from a drawer was broken off, the bed sheets and comforter were absolutely DISGUSTING with yellow and orange/red stains, rips..just disgusting. They smelled very bad, like they hadn't been washed. I spoke to Amy about it and she said 'it's fine. Theyre clean". I do NOT enjoy going on vacation only to have to sleep in gross dirty comforter. The house keepers do not wear masks while cleaning; even though there is a "wear a mask" sign on the front door of the Hotel. They spent only 10 minutes in my room and when I got back. The beds were not even made eith fresh sheets even though I left a note. And the carpet was not vacuumed. They did vacuum only once and when they did,, the carpet was SOAKING WET. Now the breakfast was just okay. They kept the hot food in the Schaeffers, but even then the food was still cold. The home fries tasted like they were weeks old. Orange juice watered down and gross. This hotel looks nice, but don't let looks deceive you! $610 down the drain for just a week for an old, run down, crappy hotel. read more

An absolute disaster. Probably the worst hotel stay I can remember. The toilet clogged repeatedly. After the first time they came to "fix" it, they left a plunger in the room, which shows how much confidence they had in their work. The next time it clogged, the plunger worked, but the next time, it didn't. When I mentioned these problems at checkout, they could only say "OK, I'll let management know" (I think I've heard that somewhere before). No apologies for the inconvenience or anything. The A/C was louder than a KISS concert, and more grating too. The fitness center was not only decrepit, but a serious liability risk. The elliptical machine rocked uncontrollably from side to side, and the seat on the stationary bicycle would not stop tilting backwards. It threw me right off the machine. The one saving grace was breakfast. Not that it was anything special, but the servers were polite, friendly, efficient, and very professional -- polite but firm -- with the occasional hoser who insisted on being served but refused to put on a mask for it. (I mean, WTH, am I right?) This place needs new management (and facilities crew who can fix things, and front desk staff with some manners). But keep the breakfast folks. read more

This is my second time at the Ramada and I am always greeted by friendly staff willing to help and accommodate our group. They have a plentiful complimentary breakfast in the morning and keep it well stocked. Libby is very nice with places to sit and relax. There is a nice indoor pool and spa. I have always stayed in their suites with a kitchenette that has a fridge, two coil stove, microwave and dishwasher. The room is spacious and they have comfy beds and good TV stations. Great price and good location with supermarket and movie theater nearby. I had some packages sent here for my trip and they all arrived and were held for me. There is a small shop for essentials and a bit of food and drinks in the lobby and a few restaurants you can walk to nearby. read more

We stayed for three nights on a visit from California. The only semi-complaint I can think of would be that it's confusing to get in the parking lot, but that's not even a complaint. The entire hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful, but not overly so (not over-the-top or fake). I've stayed here twice now and it was a great time on both occasions. Visiting family for Christmas time. The rooms are great; very clean. The location is easy as can be right off the 5. Staff has always been friendly and helpful for us, with useful info for the out-of-towners. I've never had trouble with parking, either; I like the fact that it's set back from the street a bit and the Dentist office/Domino's and gas station buildings in front are not only super convenient but act as a buffer against busy street noise. We all enjoyed using a heated pool (always clean!) in winter time! The boys love waffles for breakfast. As for me, keep the biscuits and gravy coming! read more

I cannot say enough how happy we were with our experience on September 23 at the Ramada. We came for our daughter's birthday and they were so friendly and accommodating and patient with 12, 13-year-olds. The pool was fantastic, rooms spacious, staff friendly, and breakfast was delicious. The more upsetting part was that the girl had/have no security measures in the back!! How is this possible for any business? Especially a hotel, if due to capacity I have to park in the back of your facility. You should have some kind of security measures. Even the motels have cameras. For how much you charge.. Absolute zero. The Worst, Most Unprofessional Hotel Ever. 1. Entrance is back off the highway so you have to know which little driveway to pick or you will pass this hotel 2 or 3 times. 2. It's on a busy strip filled with loud trucks all day and all night. 3. The free food is not cooked - it's reheated packaged stuff, and it is inedible. 4. The stench of the reheating fills the lobby, and there is not enough air circulation to dissipate the smells. 5. The television is on at volume during breakfast. Disgusting. 6. This so-called no-smoking hotel reeked with the smell of marijuana. 7. The corridor of our room was filled with partying noise all week, people pounding on doors, shouting, someone was even conducting a tattooing business down the hall. 8. The room refrigerator's housing was broken and the compressor groaned all day and all night. 9. I stayed here for one night in July 2019, in between drives from Olympic National Park to Mount Rainier. It was one of the cheaper stays of the trip, which means I got great value out of it! The room is totally serviceable, comfortable, quiet. Pretty basic hotel experience. Includes a free breakfast which had the same things as a Hampton Inn breakfast - some hot items like egg and bacon, make-your-own waffles, and some cut fruit. I have been here all week. In all fairness the staff have been pleasant but the management leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Tonight they rented out the conference room next to my room where a group is doing some kind of bongo drum hula thing and very noisy. Very difficult to work. When I complained they said that the group had the room until 9pm and that it would continue until then. If I made that kind of noise in my room they would tell me to stop or kick me out but this group is paying for the room so I guess Ramada does not care about their other paying guests and the need for quiet to work and sleep. I have stayed here periodically while working in the area but will not be back. They also slipped a note under my door stating that they would be coming into my room to replace the under the window HVAC unit tomorrow between 9 and 5 pm, that it HAD to be done that day. I do not like people coming into the room when I am not there and yet my belongings are in the room. read more

I was immediately met with hostility as I tried to check in. We were visiting for a wedding and had the mother of the bride check everyone in with our keys waiting for us. However when asking any questions to clarify the blonde lady at the front desk had no answers and simply stated "I wouldn't know." I asked if there were gluten free options for the breakfast, and was initially told that they added GF toast and typical breakfast foods, only to end with "I'm not sure because I dont know what gluten is." Even after clarifying about wheat, she proceeded to rudely tell us to sign a a contract without telling us what for, considering we had already been checked in. After politely letting her know I was uncomfortable signing a contract without reason or explanation, finally 8min after her debating with me and insinuating my stupidity she explained the contracts contents. Despite the smoking LAW they allow smokers to hover at ALL entrances including employees so that there is no way to avoid it. I can understand having smoking area however, when a cancer survivor could die from breathing in the smoke it is more than just a preference. I wouldn't return, simply due to the compete lack of courtesy and customer service. read more

A step above what I would expect from a Ramada. A very well maintained property with an indoor pool and hot tub. The weight room is modern and well equipped. Our room was clean, and tastefully designed. The beds had comfy mattresses and lots of thick pillows. The bathroom had a high quality shower head. I was with my 2 sons, ages 4&7.... we stayed here specifically because we could use the pool.... we made an appointment to use the pool and we were swimming... all of a sudden the manager of the hotel walked in with a woman and her daughter... the daughter was maybe 3... still had a pacifier in, so I know she wasn't very old. The mom of this child was VERY high in drugs, she should not have been let into the pool with her child- especially by an employee. The little girl got into the pool on the float toy her mom brought her and then she 2x almost drowned and I had to take care of that by leaving my own kids to attend to this ladies daughter.... I was so mad, and my kids were so co fused, she kept ensuring me she was fine, but she couldn't even hold a sentence together or walk straight. the mom began to nod off in the middle of the pool on her floaty.... I promptly left the pool area,( very conflicted because of the little girl) went to the front desk and told the manager that that women was asleep in the pool and her TODDLER was not being watched and she doesn't know how to swim.... the manager told me he noticed she was nodding out when she checked in... I was so frustrated that he still let her in the pool. I don't know what happened or if that little girl is safe.. I haven't been able to sleep since this event- I was so frustrated that I was put in this situation and that this poor little girl was put in this situation. I have spent many nights thinking about this and I'm still shocked that this hotel and management didn't take any ownership of this. The next morning, a guest who had a really nice truck woke up to his tiers stolen off the truck... I'm sure it's no coincidence that these events happened together. read more

Lobby was nice as was the pool and gym- if you don't go in the room its not so bad. Breakfast was well stocked throughout its operating hours and the food was okay with fresh cut fruit available. Maybe I was unlucky in the room they assigned me however this is what I saw: No hot water( arrived at 1am took a shower and it was not cold but no person would call it hot) Hotel room smelled like bleach everywhere not just the bathroom- the sheets and towels were so bleach soaked they irritated my lungs. I'm not generally sensitive to that sort of thing a little bleach smells nice to me. Bathroom floor was sticky. This place was gross the staff was rude and cold. The lobby is beautiful. The eating area over looks the pool, not exactly what I want to see while eating. The pool is indoor and very institutional looking. Some plants would be nice. Made the reservation for an ADA accessible room. The email confirmation did not say ADA, so we called the hotel directly. Yes, the reservation in their computer said wheelchair accessible. A few days later we called again, experience has dictated as much. Again reassured we had an accessible room. Check-in, went smoothly, my husband got the key. Nope, room not accessible. The rep at the front desk tells us we did not reserve an accessible room. My husband explains he called twice to confirm. She said there is a note on our reservation my husband was in a wheelchair, but not that we needed an accessible room. We were educated that many guests often have wheelchairs but don't require accessible rooms (I guess they don't pee or shower). She found us a room by bumping another guest, her words. I am truly sorry the guest is not getting the room he reserved, it sucks! My words. The room is spacious, but the lighting sucks. Very dim. We were on the first floor, so people can peer into our room, we kept the curtains shut. The room looks tired, but that could be lighting. Apparently the widows have cracks as everyday we were visited by 3 or 4 lady bugs. They fly over to the bed. I would take the time each morning to remove them to outside, by the afternoon they were back. The sofa sleeper takes up the entire front room. With the sleeper out, you cannot walk around it, so you walk on it and climb over each other. We were never able to get the shower to work, we had to take baths. The breakfast was well stocked. Egg dish each day. Sausage or bacon each day. Tater tots or biscuit and gravy each day. Same selection of bagels, pastries, cereal, yogurt and waffles. Two kinds of fresh fruit. There is something for everyone. However, after a week you really want some vegetables to go with that meal. read more

I enjoy staying at nice, clean, comfortable hotels that aren't over-priced and snooty-- (This makes me uncomfortable and also causes me to want to hole-up in my room and spend all my time in said room, because I don't want to have to dish out any more cash than I all ready spent [weird? Maybe. But it's the truth!]). On the other hand, I DO NOT like staying in nasty, filthy, cheap motels, either. Staying in such a place is actually worse in my opinion, than paying too much, but this isn't my point. My point is, Ramada Inn in Lacey is the perfect marriage of great rooms and pretty good prices! The rooms are clean, it's quiet, they offer complimentary hot/cold breakfast, free cookies at the front desk, and they have a pool and spa. They're just minutes off I-5 and offer free parking.
