Unfortunately, the experience at checkout completely changed my impression. The cashier was not friendly and seemed impatient, which made the process uncomfortable and disappointing. The nursery does offer fair pricing and a wide selection of plants, which I appreciated. However, customer service--especially at checkout--is just as important. My second year I have purchased seedlings from Homeschooling Homestead. Even though I waited a few days to get the seedlings in the ground, everything has been growing strong. After the second week I had tomatoes on my vines. My Green Apple Cucumber Melon, has already a few tiny green cucumber's showing. Honestly this is the way to go, start out with quality seedlings. Why put in all the work to be disappointed because the seedling just never took to the soil? At Homeschooling Homestead, I love the variety of what they offer. The website, provide's you with great photos, of what you are purchasing. In addition, you have detail on how many days , the space needed to grow between seedlings and more.
