Did some plant shopping with my friend, this store is amazing. The prices are comparable to big box stores like Lowe's or Home Depot but there is way better variety and Maria knows the sources her plants come from. I've bought from independent shops in the past where I take the plants home and they die due to netted roots or other pre existing problems. Amazing customer service, great prices and great variety. You won't find a better place to buy plants. Plants are in beautiful condition and well loved here. Definitely would have headed home with way too many plants if I wasn't visiting from out of state. read more

Thank you to Kimberley and her daughter, My great grandmother passed and I was given her plant that she always took care of and I've been taking care of it for two years and yesterday I noticed black leaves on her, got super scared and called Kimberley and instantly she answered and gave me answers and told me to come and trini(my plant) got a nice haircut and she said everything is ok! The store owner and her daughter are very attentive, super helpful, and show so much love in what they do! I could not believe the selection available when I got to the store, and I even had the pleasure of asking Mary, the owner, if she had a plant, which she didn't but still made the tip to help me find one ! That type of drive and charisma is what separates this store from places like Lowe's, Home Depot etc. Having that one on one experience with Mary and Kimberly will definitely bring me back to this place of business! Such sweet, friendly customer service and gorgeous plants are to be found at Kimberly's Indoor Plants. Lupita is knowledgeable with her plants and so willing to share this with her customers. It took 20 minutes just to ring these two women up. I finally turned around to look at the line behind me that was only one person I thought. It changed quickly to about 15. I get to the register and the cashier is frustrated you can hear people in line fussing. Only one cashier with all of these people. This has to be one of the worst Ross locations I've been to. I used to live in LA and have shopped…read moreat plenty of other Ross locations, but this one feels extremely cramped and claustrophobic. Everything is packed so tightly together that there's barely enough room to push a shopping cart comfortably. Clothes were all over the floor, and the shoe section was a complete mess. Sizes were mixed up everywhere, and it didn't look like anyone was keeping the area organized. The clothing racks were probably the most frustrating part. Tops and shirts are hung on both an upper and lower rack. Going through the upper rack actually starts hurting your hand because of how awkwardly high and packed it is. The bottom rack is dark and so low that you have to keep bending down just to see what they have. Shopping here honestly feels more like work than shopping. After struggling through just one section, I gave up and left. This location definitely needs better organization, more space between racks, and more attention from staff to keep merchandise off the floor and where it belongs.

I have been looking for a place to get nice indoor plants and a good price. (They were having a $5 off sale) The store is filled with so many beautiful plants. The plants left a lot to be desired. They were so small, even though 2 that I ordered were supposed to be 15gallon plants. The grapes looked horrible and diseased. I emailed them and they said it was "cold weather spots" on the leaves and not a fungus. Cold weather spots... they are in Southern California and this year it was 100 in March... we didn't have cold weather. They offer no guarantee. They told me to remove the ill looking leaves.... It would have been the entire plant. I honestly don't think it's going to make it. If it does, it will be three years before it produces... not what I was expecting with a 15 gallon plant. If it's not fungal, it's a bad potassium deficiency, which is also concerning. The other trees were root bound. I will not be buying from here again. They offer a good selection, but it's not worth the questionable productI wanted to buy local, but it backfired. I had better luck buying fruit trees shipped from fast growing trees dot com. Disappointing. 2 stars because they deliver and responded to my email

Why put in all the work to be disappointed because the seedling just never took to the soil? At Homeschooling Homestead, I love the variety of what they offer. The website, provide's you with great photos, of what you are purchasing. In addition, you have detail on how many days , the space needed to grow between seedlings and more. Each time I have ordered, my order was confirmed and plenty of notice given when I could pick it up. I have added HH to my favorites. I am planing on using a third garden box next year.

Based on that information, I made the trip to pick one up the next day. Before heading over, I messaged to let them know I was on my way, and I was provided with the address. However, once I arrived, I was told that the trees had already been sold. I called to clarify because I had not been informed of this before making the drive. Unfortunately, my call was not answered, and instead I received a text stating that the trees were sold. I understand that inventory can sell quickly, but I believe better communication and customer service would have made a big difference. A simple message or phone call letting me know the trees were no longer available before I made the trip would have saved me the time and inconvenience. I hope in the future they can improve their communication with customers, especially when someone has already confirmed they are on their way.
