I found his approach heavy-handed--a quick glance at the register would have confirmed I was a paying customer. The venue itself is charming with an eclectic design: marble and superhero posters up front, a long row of small tables forming a communal table in the middle, and a bar with patio space in back. The ice cream and cappuccinos were solid and fairly priced, with courteous staff throughout. It's a nice spot with genuine mom-and-pop appeal.
