Stopped by Ralph's to do some AD shopping. I don't usually shop Ralph's unless I'm AD shopping because they're a little pricey in my opinion. The store was clean and nicely stocked today. They had quite a few items on sale. Some sale items were 2lb block cheese for $6.49, Argentinian Red Shrimp $9.99lb, and butter! I love this Ralphs because it's a full service that includes sushi, deli, bakery, meat counter, fish fry, and flowers! A one stop shop! The service was great today. The lady working self checkout greeted me and asked how many bags I'd need. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I just wish prices were more competitive. read more

They now have the detergent and cleaning supplies in the separated isles towards the left side of the store. I bought a Clorox bleach and once I got home I was about to wash and noticed it didn't have a seal. It's either old and degrading, or could have been contaminated with something. I'm so upset this is just nasty and disappointing. read more

Such a ghetto store they're open till 1 AM but have a whole area thats locked up at night the medicine shampoo mouthwash etc and don't open it up for customers that drove specifically for stuff that's locked up in that area! I've never been to a store that locks their stuff up like that. Stores that are open 24 hours don't even do that. read more

I remembered this Ralph's from a previous visit. I stopped in the deli looking for a snack. I was going to order some antipasto salad. However there were three others ahead of me. I dr used to look for some other items and return. I came back 10 min later and the last person in the deli line was just being helped. She was getting a large order. This calls for Plan B. I looked in the prepared food section. I found a turkey wrap with some fruit. Good enough. Got that along with my other goods, paid and left. Don't forget when you're in CA stores to bring your own bags or be charged for each bag. Shared parking lot and WiFi. read more

Definitely don't buy gift cards here. We purchased a $50 Amazon gift card as a gift to find out that the recipient couldn't redeem. We worked together to contact Amazon to learn it was a fraudulent gift card. Neither the Ralph's store manager or the company they use to represent any of the Kroger-sold gift cards - Black Hawk Network - would do anything to stand behind what they sold in their store. We got nothing but a bunch of apologies after hours trying to rectify. read more

I normally go in around 9-10 am Monday or Friday. Sierra Lakes Ralphs is by far the most friendly Ralphs I go into (I also shop Haven & Miliken Ralphs). The deli ladies are super nice & everything is clean & organized. They usually remember my order too. Employees always greet you & have a positive attitude. I really want to compliment the young lady working the cheese area today Dec 29th. She was wearing a mask to start. I wanted a piece of cheese off a reel. This is the first time I've ever seen someone understand how to properly use vinyl gloves to keep everything sanitary. She put on gloves & cleaned each area where the cheese would be touching. She then changed gloves each step; unwrapping, handling, setting up the scale & final wrapping of cheese. They should make a video of her to teach people how to proper handle food. If this is the level of food handling training they not only teach, but require on a daily basis they should have no cross contamination. I feel safe getting things from this Ralphs. PS: I've supervised sanitation at various manufacturing plants so I appreciate a job properly done. read more

The store is clean and well stocked. Super great selection on everything. Now why the one star? The staff are all mostly rude. You ask them a question and they seem like they don't want to be there. Also I ordered the pick up and go assuming it would be faster than going in person and getting groceries. My order was ready, I head out and I park the car. I assume I'm going to wait a little bit there is no other cars there. 35 minute wait... no kidding. That was crazy I literally had to call and still they took a while. The order was ready on the app. Even let them know I was on the way. Yeah online orders are extremely laggy there. I left Ralph's today feeling embarrassed, uncomfortable, and honestly questioning myself. All I did was ask for help unlocking an aisle so I could get my daughter the female toiletries she needed. The first lady I asked was incredibly kind, but the woman who actually came with the key made me feel so small. She looked irritated from the start, like I was bothering her just for needing something behind the lock. I still tried to be polite--I even said "thank you, sorry you had to go out of your way"--but instead of acknowledging me, she just mugged me and walked off without a single word. To make things worse, she went back to the nice employee and laughed out loud, joking about "being mean." That moment crushed me. I shouldn't have to leave a grocery store wondering, "Did I do something wrong? Was it the color of my skin? Why did she treat me like that?" At the end of the day, this is her job, but treating people with kindness costs nothing. Deli service is soo slow. I waited for 15 min while 3 workers saw me waiting to be serviced and no one approached me. I confronted one worker with green hair about being helped at the deli section while two others are standing around. Green hair employee said she can't help me until she helps people waiting for chicken when she wasn't even moving the line. She didn't even call anyone for assistance or to get anyone else to assist me. Horrible service I had to give a star but i would rather not. They need training on customer service. read more

It's unclear why essential items like baby products and medicine would be locked up during store hours, especially when customers are clearly in need. It was around midnight when I went to Ralph's to grab a few items, and when I reached the checkout, the cashier (chubby torta, who was very rude and a 50-year-old Hispanic overweight man who was bagging groceries, was saying rude things about me in Spanish right in front of me, some people are ignorant, and they don't realize that other races speak Spanish. They believe that Spanish is a secret language that only they know they're so ignorant they don't realize billions of people speak Spanish around the world. They just seemed like they were very unhappy that they had to work and they hate their jobs and possibly their entire lives. That sweet angel of a worker Husna helped me out so much. Husna was there for me when I needed help searching for my groceries. I, a 47 year old disabled woman is constantly needing for assistance and Husna gave me her all with the best attitude I have ever seen. I am new in town and it is hard to adjust to new surroundings and I do get quite nervous around new faces but Husna made my life and others so much easier with her go-getting and down to earth personality. Husna is truly one of the best gifts that I have received from God ever since I met my late husband of 19 years. Located in the Sierra Lakes Village shopping center, we have been coming here for more than 10 years and are pretty happy with this store. Clean and well stocked. Employees I've interacted with, were friendly. Plenty of parking in front of the store and a few spots for drive-up orders. They do have the usual services like deli, pharmacy, DMV kiosk, sushi, coin star, lottery, redbox ... The lines can get a little long at times, so if there are 2 self-checkout areas, why not open both and give people more options or maybe pull someone from stocking shelves to come and help out at the checkout for a minute? That would be my only slight complaint. If you have other errands to run, there is also a Wells Fargo, UPS, Walgreens and a few food places in the same shopping center. read more

I was a loyal customer Ralph's and did all my grocery shopping here for my family of 6. Tonight I was shopping late night because that's was suites my schedule. I liked Ralph's because the store is always organized and what I liked most about it was the self check out lines and the ability to efficiently check out on your own without the hassle. Until tonight. I unfortunately suffered an unrelated event which has lead me to be extremely nervous standing right next to people, hence why I shop a little later in the night and prefer self check out lines. I did my normal grocery shopping like I usually do, and as I walked into the self check out line (which there was no line to by the way) I was immediately stopped by the cashier VICTORIA attending to the self check out lines. "She began commanding me to go to line 8 because my cart is too full and it will trigger the system too many times! And that the self check out line is only for small orders." I told her if this was something new since I have never had an issue with this before. She then said it has always been a rule and if I think "I can handle it" I can go ahead and try. I was so embarrassed. I didn't know how to tell her I have a sort of phobia and instead I told her I can handle it and have my own bags and I checked out my own groceries. And I handled it just fine... Needless to say Ralph's, if I broke some sort of rule about checking out too many items despite there being no line and no sign, and I've never been stopped like this before, please put one up.. I will never return to Ralph's or spend my hard earned money if your employees can't mind their own business. I shouldn't have to explain myself this way, but I was deeply saddened by my experience here and will never return. Previous to this she was talking so loud about a customer who attempted to steal from the store to another employee. As unfortunate as that is, kind of disappointing that she's so loud about the business other customers such as myself can hear it through out the store. read more

This is not Ralph's. This is Kroger. But a piece of Chuck steak the same I always buy at Stater Brothers. Cooked at the same exact way in my crockpot. You could literally use this for your shoe leather. Of course you had to bring it back. I live an hour and a half but I will take it back. Today this Ralphs just lost a loyal costumer i was at self check out and I got harassed by an employee, she insisted I put All of my items stacked by the groceries bag and im explaining to her im bagging as I go everything bagged is scanned what is not bagged is not scanned and she said okay and walked away not even minutes after comes back to tell me again I should be able to see everything on the counter before you scan it and I explained my stuff will not all fit if I'm stacking it up on the counter I have about $300 worth of items at this point of her repeatedly coming up to me and then machine is not even calling her I told her I can just go to the checkout cause I feel like your harassing me and she's like yes it's best you just go and was so rude to me. Our go to super market. It now has curb side pickup / shopping helper service. our fav. part is that they have sushi chef making fresh sushi there for the pre-packaged food. Sucks to have to write this but this Ralph's sucks. I stood at the bakery for over 15 min right now (4pm on Friday 3/31) waiting to be helped. No one helped me. Asked one of the meat people for help and they said they can't and the bakery person isn't anywhere to be seen. Asked to speak w the manager but the manager isn't available either. I love coming to the new Starbucks here. Chris and the morning team are so friendly, fast , and it's always clean. Today I was surprised when I got my cup and it had a little note written on it to Have a great day. We've been coming here for years even after other grocery stores were added in the area. There's an incredible lady with the sweetest disposition who works in the bakery and deli section early in the morning. When my partner and I need help with choosing the ripest melons, the produce staff are so accommodating. Lastly, we appreciate the Pharmacy staff. Their customer service and care for the person who needs the medications is special and unfortunately, not so common in the healthcare world. Don't even try to buy fried chicken because they don't want to sell any . They told a customer in front of me that there was a 45 minute wait for chicken and when it was my turn I was okay with the wait time but now they couldn't sell me more than 16 pieces (I wanted 24) because I had to order them 24 hours in advance. So I was like ohh well I guess we have to eat less so I agree with it and I asked for potato wedges and they told me I had to order those ahead of time as well ‍, they just handle a 5 pound bag in front of me , so they lost me as a customer, people go to starter Bros their chicken is delicious as well and they don't limit you on how much you need. I was already having a pretty bad day but the way you treated me Terri at the cash register, was a cherry on top.

I go to this store probably every other day. We live down the street and it's always fast, easy in and out. The lines are rarely out of hand when I go and I have gone all hours of the day. They also provide the service of frying you fish for you and for someone like me that is terrified of the oil and it popping, this is a major plus. The meat department is always happy to assist with recipes and different seasonings that will pair nicely and bring out the flavors and the fish is seasoned to your liking and can be made in less than 15 mins to pick up after you're done shopping. The selection of food is always stocked with exception to onions for whatever reason time to time but, if you need to grab something quick order a cake or pick something up in a pinch this is the place for it. read more

Poor late night crew experience. Arrived at 11:20 pm in need of hygiene products. All of the hygiene products were gated off absolutely at my time arrival. This is normal, I ask a shorter white heavyset gentleman with sparse hair in his 40s-50s if he could open the gate to the hygiene products. He is chatting to a customer on his way out of the store. I waited for their conversation to finish. He agrees then we walk over to the hygiene aisle and are are greeted by another customer asking for access to the hygiene aisle. He then sternly says "I'm not supposed to open the gate after hours but i'll do it this one time". I had been there for probably 3 minutes. Not long enough to look at all bar soap there which is a small selection. Perhaps Ralphs tells the employees to not open the gate late at night, every single other night I have came here and asked for the access to hygiene the employees open it with a smile. This time the shorter gentleman is standing by the gate watching both of us look at the products. He then looks at me from the entry to hygiene and yells out, "Grab what you came here for I don't have much time". He was standing at the hygiene self checkout register where two other employees were already standing by. I just walked out and drove over to the Rancho location. He was in a bad mood and opened the gate reluctantly. I'm sure he knows the culture for the employees is to open the gate and let customers look, but I think he's been spoiled by his low demanding job. If you don't like your job leave it. read more
