Stopped in for a quick breakfast in the middle of the weekend breakfast rush. I was lucky enough to get a table without a wait. Server was moving fast but stopped and greeted me anyway. She came back fairly fast and took my order. My food came out so quickly I didn't have a chance to really sip my beverage. The most beautiful, crisp, hot waffle came out with a crisp and ample side of bacon. The meal was absolutely perfect. The service was quick and friendly. I forgot to add an adorable couple saw me dining alone started a sweet conversation with me. So not only is the food good, service great, but the customers are very friendly. Win, win, win.

This is the first breakfast place in Lansdale that I have visited in recent months that was absolutely jammed on Sunday morning. There was a long waiting list with people outside on a rain soaked day for a chance to enjoy a substantial repast. My time standing by the door reading the menu was about 20 minutes. Not bad; besides I was curious about Ralph's wild popularity. There were a majority of seniors here in couplets, triplets and quartets. Everyone seemed to know each other, like they all came from a church bingo group. It was obvious they all knew something about this joint that I was about to find out. I sat at a small deuce in the middle of the dining room. Coffee arrived promptly, as did my request for their Country Omelette (sausage, onion, green pepper, tomato, plus feta add in), with crisp hash browns and rye toast. It was a very good three egger; still moist within. Java was hot and bracing, not to mention refilled three times. The whole house seemed in a convivial mood as I observed the happy faces and listened to the din of conversation. When I received the check I realized the why of this full house. The omelette was only $8.95, plus a buck for the feta cheese. Bottomless mug a joe, $2.50. I had been paying a few dollars more for similar breakfasts all over town. Here, I was walking away with an excellent meal plus tip, for what just the food cost everywhere else. For seniors on a social security budget, this was cause for celebration. An easy 20% discount. Word gets around where the best deals are. Ralph's was in the sweet spot and they were taking advantage. Judging by the continuous rush, they knew exactly what they were doing.

Service is really fast. All the servers are very polite and feel welcoming. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table, but nothing more than that. The food is enjoyable diner food. The atmosphere is really cozy and nice. This place is buzzing on a Sunday morning! We will be back!

I guess I'll start with the food. I consider myself a dinner expert and I go into any place with high expectations. Ralph's corner met them. Our waitress Mayar was phenomenal. She was always checking up on us to make sure we were good and didn't need anything. The food came out faster then you could blink(no lie 5mins) and it was amazing .I recommend chocolate chip pancakes. The only negatives was the seating was a bite tight. Also there our only 2 single bathrooms. But hey you can't be perfect. Already making plans to go back.

    - gotta agree with GREAT PANCAKES ( we got the choc chip pancakes, very moist and just right). - doc off 2 stars for plain Western skillet. The ham bit vs green pepper and onion ratio is 1:100. Its under seasoned and lack of flavor, tiny bit of ham.

Good food and good service. A great local spot. Prices are reasonable. Noisy, but not too loud.

The flavor combo in this is perfect, with the garlic bread base, the crispy mozzarella, the perfectly poached eggs, sauce and veggies. It all compliments each other so well. It came with a very fresh and seasonal fruit cup. We have come to expect absolute perfection from Sammy's dishes and this was no exception. We also tried the new zucchini fritters from the lunch menu, but were so excited to try them, I forgot to take a pic. They are described on the menu as zucchini fritters with cheese, but really they are fried cheese with zucchini, which is definitely how I like it. Idk what the sauce is that it comes with but i would eat it with a spoon! They are a definite hit and I plan to order them every time I go, with an extra side of sauce.

We ordered the pork belly bao buns for an app. The pork was painfully dry and the buns themselves were also dry and brittle. We do not recommend at all. I got the mussels in white wine broth with pasta. The broth was bland and mussels weren't to die for, but overall I enjoyed and the portion size was truly insane. My husband got the shepards pie and it was the best shepards pie either of us have ever had. Would be open to trying again but hope the food quality is more consistent next time.

It was 100 degrees out, so we had no interest in that. While I was parking, my friend attempted to get us a table. The hostess said she had a high top available in the bar. My friend said that was fine. A few minutes later, I came inside and my friend was still waiting to be sat. Multiple customers came in after us and were seated immediately. My friend had to ask the hostess if she was going to seat us! She said yes and then proceeded to seat other people. Unreal. Then another guy came out and asked us if we were being helped and we told him what happened. Then the hostess showed back up, he said something to her, and then she finally took us to the table. Listen, I was a server for many years. I get the ins and outs of a restaurant. All you have to do is communicate with the customers. If she was waiting for the table to be cleaned off, or if there was some other reason for the delay, then just have the courtesy to tell us and not ignore us. Anyway... Once we were seated, our waitress greeted us relatively quickly. We ordered the blueberry cornbread, the turkey blt and the falafel wrap (we shared all 3). All the food was delivered in a timely manner, and the presentation was nice. Out of everything, the cornbread was the best. My friend loved all of the items, but I did not. Falafel wrap was ordinary. Nothing special at all. The fries were crisp and tasty. And ceasar salad was ok (we got a side salad in place of the fries for one of the meals). The BLT had so much potential, if it weren't for the bacon. Let's just say it didn't taste like bacon. I don't want to be too gross, but it honestly tasted the way that a barn or zoo smells. It had this dirty, nasty flavor to it that totally turned me off and made me lose my appetite. The cornbread was amazing, but everything else was lackluster. I posted some pics, so be sure to take a look. Oh, and before we were finished eating, some guy came and attempted to take our plates from us without asking if we were finished! It was weird. The place itself is cute, but very small and cramped. I felt a little claustrophobic in the bathroom. It was super easy to pay the bill, as they provide a QR code and take Apple Pay. Would I go back? Heck no.
