Ralph's is a legit cigar establishment. Their sole focus is cigars only which is amazing for those simply looking to get into cigars or experienced. They have a large selection of flavored or regular cigars also arraying in sizes too. I purchased 3 flavored cigars on the larger end of sizing and paid $42. While this may be steep for some, this is actually on the more affordable end as cigars can get as expensive as $20-50 per. I purchased a honey bourbon, coconut coffee cognac and tequila mango! My oh my!!!! This place is AMAZING!!! My husband and I went to Ralph's while visiting Chicago! I can't tell you how much I love this little spot!! There are TONS of flavored Cigars. The Infused Cigar menu has so many unique flavors. I got the Cranberry and Grape infused cigars. I couldn't have been more excited about them! What I love to is that they have a lounge inside, but it was a small place and was already taken. Their website has a sleek design, and has every cigar they have in their store of which you can order and have delivered to your house!!! I am so disappointed with this company. I ordered 2 cigars for Christmas gifts for my sons. This company is so cheap, they send out cigars in a plastic baggie! There is no way to keep them fresh in a plastic bag!! I called to complain and I was told to open the baggie that they came in, add it to a larger baggie with a wet paper towel to keep them moist!! What the mess! I would have paid extra to have them packaged right! They didn't offer me nothing be a suggestion for a wet paper towel! I will NEVER order from this company again. Come here whenever I want to grab a cigar with my friends. They have a great selection. I recommend looking behind the counter where they display most of their house flavored cigars. Personally big fan of the chocolate mint got a sensational menthol breeze to it. I would be careful though got a flavored cigar and needed to be dry. The cashier said to let it dry til night. Impatient as I was I tried smoking it a few hours later. Wasn't so great. Wish they had more ready to smoke in stock. I have been service by three of their cashiers and each one knew enough about the products to help me make an informed decision. Never had a problem coming here. The only difficult part is that they have a wide selection for a small shop so it is a little difficult browsing a packed shop. Since the shop is so small there is table they'll put outside to smoke if the weather is right. Usually taken at night. Not a place to lounge around to smoke if they are busy, but a great place to buy a cigar and smoke. read more

I checked my email and saw a email from UPS Choice that mY package was delivered.. I ran to the first floor from the third, I checked around the mailboxes, and outside. No package.. Called UPS, I called Ralph's and PayPal.. I was very upset to say the least about my missing package. After grabbing a little lunch down the street, I needed to finish up some x-mas shopping for my dear old dad. Dad loves a good cigar, so I figured a couple nice ones would make a great present for him. My boyfriend convinced me to check out Ralph's, and I am so happy I did. It's a really cozy dark place, which I love, a few chairs and a big ol' tv that was playing the Bulls game. I could totally see Dad chilling out for an hour or 2 in here. The first thing that caught my eye was an amazing selection of fedoras and other really nice hats in a case. The gentleman behind the counter told us to open it up & try some. He also offered us coffee. I explained why I was there, and a few minutes later, after a few simple questions, (mind you, I know NOTHING about cigars) Ralph was grabbing a nice selection and putting it all together in a gift box. He really took his time to make sure each cigar was special, and even told me if Dad didn't like any, he could bring it back, no problem. I had such a great experience here, even the other customers just hanging around were friendly. Always full of local funny-guys and personalities, Ralph's is a quiet relaxing place to sit back and enjoy your favorite cigar while watching whatever's playing on the massive television. Although the room is small, it is not unrealistic to find 9-13 grown men relaxing and gabbing in comfort undoubtedly telling stories unfit for the dinner table back home. I know nothing about cigars, but when I went in to get my brother a nice selection for his birthday, the young woman sprung into action and helped me pick out a great selection (he liked all of them). Ralph must have taught her well as she knew her way around the extensive collection of finely wrapped tobacco and was very helpful explaining the different styles to me so that i had some idea about cigars the next time I had a chance to get a good one (ie the Cubans in Cozumel, MX). Ralph's is the bomb!!! Would I come here to stock my humidor? Sure I would. Would I come here to buy a Cigar and hang out with the locals? Absolutely. If I lived in the neighborhood, this might be my second home. The Cigar selection wasn't that broad, but what they had in stock was wonderful. Ralph took the time to ask what I normally smoked and introduced me to some new Cigars that I haven't had the chance to smoke yet. I have smoked two of four I purchased on my visit and both were delicious. The smoking lounge is a man-heaven. Ralph's had a nice little area equipped with a large Television and some comfortable chairs. The four people who were in the lounge looked like they were having the time of their lives. I wish I had more time to hang out and smoke a stick or two. The bottom line is: Ralph's is a wonderful little Cigar shop and lounge in little Italy. Ralph and his daughter could not have been nicer.
