And they still go above and beyond and take care of me. The brothers behind the counter are the owners/operators, and they love their business and their customers. Is BevMo cheaper? Yes. But it's worth the extra dollar or two per item to have a friendly conversation while you check out, to know that the money is going to support small business owners and not a corporation, and to know that if something ever goes awry they'll take care of it. Long story short, if you live within 3-5 miles of this place and are not going here, you're doing something wrong.

There were 2 people in the store who came in on foot and no one else outside waiting for the either spot. The guy is just a fucking asshole. Don't spend your money here

I stumbled into this place while looking for a simple bottle of wine... and left with a top-shelf tequila, three new friends, a recommendation for a taco spot and a renewed faith in humanity. This store is a La Mesa treasure-- it's stocked with the finest champagne, rare whiskeys, and tequila so good you'll briefly consider learning Spanish just to properly thank it. The owner? An absolute gem. If "liquor whisperer" were a real job title, this man owns the trademark. I swear he can source anything. I once mentioned a mezcal I had in Oaxaca during a full moon, harvested by monks--three days later, he had it on the shelf like it was no big deal. Walking into this shop, located in sunny La Mesa, you should know a few things: The prices are super fair, you will find exactly what you need ....and MORE, everyone knows your name and the vibes are immaculate. It's disappointing to have to write a review about this business as they have been a part of the…read morecommunity for many many many years and I have used them countless times in the past 10 years as I run a local sports bar and do community events where I need to rent jockey boxes That being said... I rented a jockey box for an event serving 2000 people upon arrival as they went to hook up my kegs I noticed there's no regulator to hook up to the CO2 tanks. Meanwhile, this is 30 minutes before the event starts. I called them to let them know and their answer was oh bring it in and we'll swap it out. Meanwhile, I'm 30 minutes away from them so luckily I call my husband and he goes there to pick up a new one, which they no longer had the equipment that I rented. They gave him an adapter to bring to me to hook up to the CO2 tank that was missing a washer so just foam poured out. Luckily I had food to serve so I was still able to work the event however when returning the products to them and telling them that nothing worked as you can see it's missing a plug. There's no adapter their response was sorry for your luck. Zero customer service zero accountability. I'm not sure if it's under new management or new owners, but I never used to be this way. Don't get kegs from this place. I guarantee I can get you kegs for $60 cheaper. Working at a local sports bar I have the contacts for Stone, Anheuser Busch Crest any anything you need I can get you for way cheaper than them. Call this # 619-287-4645 ask for Jessica! If you need a jockey box, I now have that too no charge for CO2! All I wanted was my $60 returned for product that I never got! Horrible, horrible horrible customer service!
