Well organized, helpful staff. Wish the herb choices were better. No basil on two trips

Here we are in the dead of summer and paying 4.09 for a head of molded cabbage after I had a choice of 8 heads because raleys knows they are the only store in this growing town. You guys can't even stock fresh dill weekly. I want to give y'all good feedback. So I was happy to see you finally added a "card only no cash" fast check which honestly is stupid. Many small town people love and want to pay with cash. Our problem? I guess so. But still... same old same old a year later. Do better raleys. Or change the name of this store to something else other than your flawless Raleys name. Hey Raleys corporate? We're still a 4 hour drive from your headquarters. read more

30 mins to make 3 sandwiches. The person making them did not seem happy to be making them. They ended up not being made right and had to be returned. They had minimal ingredients on them. Also my friend heard the workers say, in regards to the warm food, "we can reheat these." Questioning the quality of the food now. read more

Store is relatively clean. Prices are high which has always been the case with Raley's anywhere. Produce is absolutely disgusting. Several times I have purchased produce only to have it rotten within two days. I purchased lots of produce the day before Thanksgiving because I knew if I bought it any earlier it would be rotten before Thanksgiving. As it turns out, the cauliflower, broccoli and an orange were rotten on Thanksgiving day. It's a waste of money to get produce from here. We're going on three years since Raley's has bought out and taken over Scolaris and while there have been some (very) minor changes done, the interior of the store looks largely the same as it always has. By that, I mean it looks outdated and neglected. It's surprising to me that Raley's hasn't taken more steps to improve this. Another problem here is how much they've cut on their front end staff. Cashiers, baggers, etc. Lines leading well into the aisles aren't exactly unheard of due to there only being 1 or 2 checkers. I won't name names but one male member of Management doesn't seem to care when there's lines. I was there today in a long line (pictured below) while that manager/supervisor just walked around with a clipboard. When I was in retail, you dropped what you were doing and helped on the register. This is one of the many standards that don't seem to matter anymore. Prices have also gone up but that was to be expected. One positive thing Raley's has done is bring in a lot more organic food options and more of a variety. I feel like the changes to the Deli have been mostly positive (though I miss Boar's Head meats and feel they were far superior to whatever brand Raley's uses). Produce is very hit and miss. It's not uncommon to buy produce and see it all go bad within a couple days. Most of the staff is great, especially the ones still left over from the Scolari's days. They try hard with what they're given. None of my complaints have anything to do with them. It is strictly on a company level as I feel like they do the bare minimum with this location and don't seem to care. read more

I am a big fan of Raley's and am a regular shopper at the stores in Reno. I used to live in Yerington and very much liked the Scolari's. I remember the same complaints from people when Scolari's first opened. They said prices were too high and that there was no competition when the Page family closed their small family owned grocery. I like the quality of meat that Raley's offers as well as a good selection of produce, bakery items and wines. This Raley's is no different. They don't carry a lot of the very high end merchandise that is available at some of the Reno stores: there really is not the market for that in Yerington. However, when I have been in town and have shopped there, I have been pleased with the selection of items and the helpfulness and genuine friendliness of the staff; something I was accustomed to when it was Scolari's. It is also the hallmark of Raley's. I think they are one of the best groceries for customer service. Change is tough. I hope the good people of Yerington will learn to like the store as they learned to like Scolari's. read more

Here visiting family and went to Raley's to grab things. The price of things is out of control. How do the older people make it here?? So expansive!! Then the bagger and check out lady were so rude. I'm seriously concerned for my elderly family living here. I shop Raley's in other towns but this was horrible. Quit screwing over the people here!!! read more

I am so pleased to have a store in our small rural town that provides a wide variety of plant based, gluten free foods. The produce is also fresh. With Scolaries it was always rotten. They also have a much better selection in all isles in general. The coupons and savings are also a nice added bonus. read more

Back down to one star, with the prices so high compared to other stores this is unacceptable, what is needed is some competition to drive the prices down, that way they would not have a monopoly on the market. read more

Pharmacy is crooks, they will take advantage of people and get them to pay regular cost for prescriptions. Unstead of just telling you to wait a week to have insurance cover. read more

Best Deli sandwiches in Yerington!! I enjoyed a 6" pastrami sandwich. Staff is friendly and nice!!

Costumer came in November 19 and would like to complement how clean organized and well stocked the store is.

My 87 year old mother's credit card was charged twice the same day within 4 minutes at Raley's in Yerington. One charge was correct , but the other charge of about $85 was not. We discovered the mistake when she got her credit card bill. Raley's has no sale of that amount that day they say. They refuse to refund her card the amount and suggest she take it up with her credit card company! Great way to treat their elderly customers! Beware! read more

This grocery store has really escalated their prices since taking it over from scolaris. Very shameful. I will not be shopping here anymore.

I thought after Raley's took over Scolari's that it would be upgraded to be just like the other Raley's stores but it's not any better and maybe even worse! I have been a loyal Raley's customer and shopped your stores for over 20 years. Your stores in NV are not as good and employees are not as friendly as your stores in California, but the store in Yerington is your worst! Your customers in Yerington deserve and expect the same quaility as your flagship stores! It's going to take more than new shopping carts. The fresh baked French bread was hard (sweet baguette should not feel like a day-old sourdough), the produce is very sad looking, and there were no rotisserie chickens ready at 2 in the afternoon! The rude Hot Food section employee said the chickens would be ready in 2 hours they were just put on! (It looks like you need a new rotisserie it was barely moving, kind of like the people working behind the counter there). - Extremely disappointed customer read more
