I live near this location and shop there for connivence when I need a couple items. Customer service is hit or miss depending on who is working. Prices are not competitive and you can't always count on the items you previously purchased being available the next time you shop. There are better prices and variety at several competing retailers in Folsom. The customer rewards / gas station / car wash are a joke. New gas pumps were recently installed but often some pumps are not working or will not accept payment (so you have to go in and prepay). Went by for gas this morning and the rewards discount is not available because the pumps are being upgraded (?) Hope they get it right this time! read more

RALEYS aren't you supposed to be our local Sacramento brand? Your Sales suck. Even when you do have a sale its limited. Example "Safeway" sales are good until the next ad comes out. So you got 6 or 7 days of that Sale! Raleys has there ad on Wednesday but most sales only are done Sunday. Only 4 days on most sales. Aren't you supposed to be a part of the Community. Im not shopping there even though its right by me. Catch a clue or don't. Let's get a better grocery chain in here. Sacramento deserves more than raleys... very poor read more

Went this morning to order food, pasta and lasagna the meal deal for 9.99 and the lady at the counter seemed rushed, did not help me felt bothered when asking her questions on selection and then asked if she could warm up the lasagna she said rudely no you can go to food court for the microwave. Explained last time the lady had warmed it up and she stated we do not. I walked out and called management to complain on her attitude and felt discriminated. Not a pleasant feeling when you wake up at 3am to work and 8am is your lunch and then you get discriminated. Hope they do better training and customer service. read more

I work over a wide range of northern CA. I visit Raley's stores often and get lunch, do shopping, buy things for clients. I live close to this location and have to say the staff here are awful. Rude, unwelcoming and bad at customer service. In the deli and the cashier's. Not even just to my self but the way I have heard them speak to other customers. Who ever manages this store is doing a horrible job and needs to visit other stores and learn a few things. Disappointed and will just shop at Safeway locally. read more

Okay so I have never tried the Chinese food at Raley's. Was hungry and in a hurry. I was pleasantly surprised at the freshness and flavor of the food. The Kung Pow chicken was great! The Chow Mein was really good too! I bought the two entre option and two fed four of us. It was really good for the $20 I spent for four of us! I bought two 2 entre meals and it did feed four of us easily. I will buy it again! read more

Most of the people working here are in a bad mood or act like they have never seen you before even if you shop here all the time for past 15 years! Few exceptions like sweet Chau in the deli otherwise their affect is flat. Just not friendly. Maybe that is Raleys attitude in general? Out of the three Raley's locations in town (including Bel Air), this one is my favorite. In fact, this store is so much better than my home store that I frequently drive (or cycle) a few miles out of my way just to shop here. One of my favorite perks of this store is the location. For a cyclist, this is an ideal spot to reload on food and hydration, since it's so close to the Willow Creek, Johnny Cash, American River, and Oak Parkway trails. It's also just across the street from one of my other favorite stores in town, 99 Ranch Market. Just inside the store is a great Peet's Coffee location. Every drink I've had here has been correct and delicious. There are two separate seating areas, plus an outdoor seating area, making this a great place to meet up with someone for a coffee and/or snack. The deli section is very large for a Raley's, and was one of the first stores (that I know of) to have a fresh salad bar. It's similar to Whole Foods, and of a similar quality, but a bit cheaper. The pre-made salads, wraps, and sandwiches are also always fresh at this location. It's true what other reviewers have said about the courtesy clerks. Bagging groceries is kind of a delicate skill, and teenage boys aren't always the best at it. That's why I use self-check, where the groceries are always guaranteed to be packed just right. read more

9/24/2018: I truly have high expectations for Raley's transforming into a completely non-GMO/organic store like Good Earth Market located in Fairfax CA . . . Everything at Good Earth regardless, are organic from produce to non-perishable products which I hope and pray, Raley's will wholeheartedly accept Good Earth as an organic retail market as their mentor and as an exemplary role model. Unfortunately, Raley's has a long way progressing towards completely selling organic, non-GMO, and partioning the entire store separating the organic/non-GMO products from the GMO products. More importantly, Raley's must also have their buyers purchase exclusively humane meat products which are sustainable, i.e., grass fed, cage free, free from using antibiotics and these meat products must NOT be intermingled with the inhumane butchering methods-EVER! Furthermore, Raley's must eliminate the #3, #4, #8 produce which uses pesticides from sharing the same area as the organic, i.e., #9's! The pesticide produce must be separated and located on the left side of the produce isle while the organic produce should be shelved on the right side of the produce isle! It's time correctly organizing the store so, Raley's Customers may easily shop the products they daily consume rather than, searching all over the store attempting finding the items they want. Every Monday, Raley's incites their $5.00 deals which is a hodge-podge of GMO and maybe one or two organic products which are cool promotions; however, I request Raley's offers $5.00 organic/non-GMO products promoted SOLELY on Tuesdays! read more

Got my wedding flowers here and they did such a good job with ordering the flower arrangements, preserving them, and communicating between me and their flower vendor. When we picked up the flowers, one of our cars broke down And the guys there tried to help out my now-husband and we really appreciated their time and effort. We used to love Raleys and Bel Air, but man have they gone down hill. Walmart has better looking produce! Every time we shop here, we find a few different produce items on the shelf that are moldy and should have been tossed a few days ago. Today we had an experience with a front end manger . Some items were on the leftover Christmas isle with a big sign stating "75% off". We grabbed a few items and they rang up full price. When the manger was called over to ok the percentage off, she disagreed and didn't even bother to go and look where the items were placed ‍. Terrible service, I'll take my money elsewhere. Only reason I gave two stars is because they have a USPS shipping service I use from time to time and they're good. Here's an idea Raleys/Bel Air... if you want to mimic Safeway, or Grocery Outlet.... LOWER YOUR PRICES! The mature male meat department person was useless and unhelpful. I was totally disappointed when this person told me that he could not cut frozen meat with the cutting machine. He claimed that the ribs must be unfrozen. This is absolutely incorrect. Personally, he's unqualified to work alone in the meat department until he's fully educated on meat operations. In my honest opinion, he's either lazy or prejudice. I had 4 large packages of ribs ready for cutting. He refused to cut them. Clearly, customer is not a priority with this person. How do you think an experienced butchers cut beef ribs for Korean BBQ? You must cut them when they are frozen. You can't cut them when they are unfrozen. FWIW, I had cutting service performed at other Raley's locations with no problems. read more

You have to hand it to Raley's. Every location pretty much knocks it out of the park in terms of quality and selection. Raley's is the best of both worlds - your old school grocery store combined with something more fancy and exclusive, like the Sacramento Coop. If it weren't for the overall higher-than-average prices, I'd probably be shopping here a lot more often. This is an easily accessible location in a sprawling suburban neighborhood. The staff our friendly, the register traffic usually manageable and the selection, as I mentioned, fantastic. I like their beer options and they usually have a number of popular brands that are strangely hard to find elsewhere. read more

I recently moved here and this store is a continuing disappointment. Besides the high prices the customer service is just horrible!! The checkers are the rudest I've ever encountered. The baggers are young kids that obviously haven't been taught work ethics and are AWAYS goofing off out in front. I've noticed this every times I've gone there. I try to avoid this store and go to nugget or Whole Foods who are friendly and respectful. No Whole Foods is not more expensive than this store and you get quality all around. it seems Raley's customer service is going away. I've downloaded the app and clipped my coupon, which isn't easy for an elderly tech challenged customer. I ask for help getting my coupon offer and was told in a most snotty way by the young lady checker "I can't help you we are not allowed to help you use your digital coupon ". Review of the prepared Chinese food inside of this Raley's: Went to get a bit of Chinese food from the help yourself and noticed the food looked different. There were more meat options and not as much veggie dishes, and the veggies that were there did not look as fresh as they should. I asked the lady working if they were a new company preparing the Chinese food and she said yes. The food tasted great but seemed greasy. I personally like all the meat options and will def try them again. read more

I signed up for yelp just to leave this review. I have been shopping here for a couple of years and have always been pleased. The other day a man yelled profanities at me for backing away from him because he wasn't wearing a mask. I talked to a manager or assistant manager (unsure which) who told me that they couldn't force customers to wear masks. I told him that was only part of the problem; that the man got close and yelled profanities in my face. I was wearing a mask, but not the kind that would protect me from him. The manager still didn't get it and didn't seem to be troubled that I was treated this way in the store. I left the store and sat in my car and cried. First of all, it is now the law in California that everyone needs to wear a mask in public if they are close OR indoors. So yes, you can make people wear masks. Some supermarkets (Trader Joe's and Sprouts, for instance) have a staff member at the entrance making sure masks are worn. I am in my late seventies, and Raley's doesn't seem to care that I was yelled at and placed at additional risk by a bully who sees this as a political issue. COVID is not a joke. I will be filing a complaint with the department of public health. read more

I second the feedback on Meat department - In the last few years the meat department persons have gotten rude and clearly do not want to do the work Raley's advertises as a service available to use. Just today I had my daughter picking up some beef cut to a thin steak size and the butcher said it cannot be done, and was unnecessarily rude. Overall, we love the service but sorry that some departments are not being held to the same standard of Raley's service. read more

The store is set up nicely. Most of the personnel are pleasant and helpful. The only issue I have is with their Aisle One gas station. The assistant manager there is a beast. She talks negatively about customers while they are standing in the store. I have no idea why this individual has employment. This Raley's location is perfect. Very clean inside with a great meat, fresh produce, and deli section that you have to check out. With Covid going on they are constantly cleaning the place, providing mask, and carts are not all over the parking lot. This place is well managed and provides a great customer service! Wow it only gets worse at Raleys. Went in today and they were dolling out plastic bags! It hasn't even been a week since the plastic bags were pulled off the shelf and now they have found a convenient work around by printing "re-usable" on the bags. Are you serious? You are totally cheating the law. Do you really think people are going to re-use these plastic bags just because it says "re-usable". No, people are going to use them once and throw them away. Thanks a lot Raleys for folding to the plastic bag industry and letting down the state of California. You could have done better, you could have led by example, you could have made a difference, but you didn't. I hope your poor choice does not go unnoticed. read more

Per the cashier on #690177 at 5:31pm on 1/06/21 This store does not require customers to wear a mask. According to the cashier "we can ask Customers to wear a mask but do not require a mask to be worn by our customers... the decision varies from Raleys stores...it's the managers decision. To the comment below: I'm disappointed that you would assume FOLSOM community is confrontational or jeopardizes the safety of your employees. Completely get the confrontation matter. However, a majority of other stores are practicing actual safety/protection measures and also ensuring the health of customers and store employees and do not have issues of hostile confrontation. It takes extreme compassion, organization, strategic planning, and a desire to actually put effort on management side. Maybe you can contact Trader Joe's, target, Costco, other Raleys, Safeway, and ask them how to implement safety measures without the premeditated expectations of hostility. I feel the safety of the whole is more important then hurting the feelings of 1-2 people who won't wear a mask. I know the maJority of our FOLSOM community cares about each other. I love the new organic store the store has become. We wanted ramen but the noodles had run out & they needed to make more. Still can't wait to try it and see how it is, hopefully next time. We got the pizza it was really good just needed to be cooked at least 5 more minutes. So they have some kinks to work out but this is all new and my husband and I love it. read more

I have been a Raley's shopper for decades and shopped. this location since they opened. Their restrooms are filthy and I have seen cleaner bathrooms at some gas stations. Equipment broken and hanging off the walls. Bathroom paper all over, toilets not working and plugged. Peeeee uuuuuuu! : (. Sad to see no up keep. Raleys grocery store is no WholeFoods, but not a cheap date. They have a food bar from where you can pick anything for 8.99$ per lb. I got some Mac and Cheese, Buffalo Chicken Strips, sautéed mushrooms and boiled eggs, all for just under 8$. I have also used their gas station, which is not that crowded compared to some other ones in this area. Cons: Overall produce quality is mediocre. The employees are not welcoming or friendly and it feels like they have been given a punishment to work there. read more
