Had a sushi a roll inside Raley's store. It was great! Thanks! It was quick and easy! Thanks!

9/24/2018: I truly have high expectations for Raley's transforming into a completely non-GMO/organic store like Good Earth Market located in Fairfax CA . . . Everything at Good Earth regardless, are organic from produce to non-perishable products which I hope and pray, Raley's will wholeheartedly accept Good Earth as an organic retail market as their mentor and as an exemplary role model. Unfortunately, Raley's has a long way progressing towards completely selling organic, non-GMO, and partioning the entire store separating the organic/non-GMO products from the GMO products. More importantly, Raley's must also have their buyers purchase exclusively humane meat products which are sustainable, i.e., grass fed, cage free, free from using antibiotics and these meat products must NOT be intermingled with the inhumane butchering methods-EVER! Furthermore, Raley's must eliminate the #3, #4, #8 produce which uses pesticides from sharing the same area as the organic, i.e., #9's! The pesticide produce must be separated and located on the left side of the produce isle while the organic produce should be shelved on the right side of the produce isle! It's time correctly organizing the store so, Raley's Customers may easily shop the products they daily consume rather than, searching all over the store attempting finding the items they want. Every Monday, Raley's incites their $5.00 deals which is a hodge-podge of GMO and maybe one or two organic products which are cool promotions; however, I request Raley's offers $5.00 organic/non-GMO products promoted SOLELY on Tuesdays!

Raley's in Blue Ravine has such an amazing team! Got my wedding flowers here and they did such a good job with ordering the flower arrangements, preserving them, and communicating between me and their flower vendor. When we picked up the flowers, one of our cars broke down And the guys there tried to help out my now-husband and we really appreciated their time and effort. Jodi the florist, their manager, and the whole team were really friendly and so competent. They did a great job with the logistics. Thank you so much!

As you can see in the photo, the plates and silverware we were inquiring about is clearly on the 75% off aisle.

We used to love Raleys and Bel Air, but man have they gone down hill. Walmart has better looking produce! Every time we shop here, we find a few different produce items on the shelf that are moldy and should have been tossed a few days ago. Today we had an experience with a front end manger . Some items were on the leftover Christmas isle with a big sign stating "75% off". We grabbed a few items and they rang up full price. When the manger was called over to ok the percentage off, she disagreed and didn't even bother to go and look where the items were placed ‍. Terrible service, I'll take my money elsewhere. Only reason I gave two stars is because they have a USPS shipping service I use from time to time and they're good. Here's an idea Raleys/Bel Air... if you want to mimic Safeway, or Grocery Outlet.... LOWER YOUR PRICES! Edit: we just went to the Bel air on East Bidwell to double check, and guess what...... same items we were trying to get at the blue ravine location, were at East Bidwell ON SALE.

As far as chain's go, Togos, our local regional chain has the best Pastrami VS other chains, but they do not compare to the sandwich I just had from Rim's Deli. This is dangerous as a lover of Pastrami. This has been better than all the other places I found listed for the "best pastrami in Sacramento," most of them served Boar's head. This place serves something else. It was a great freaking sandwhich. Best Pastrami I have had for a while. I'll use a portnoy rating scale and give it a 9.3/10 with Katz/Langer's being 9.8. These people know Pastrami and it was freaking good. Slow clap from my home computer. Don't tell me how it's made and don't change anything, I'll be back for more.

"Sounds good," I heard so across the parking lot was WCSD. In we go. Ordered two 6" BLT, no chips, cookies, or drinks, had water. Over $25.00. After waiting a fair amount of time, the order was ready (there was nobody in the place except three employees.) I brought the pie tins that they serve on to our table. They looked a little flat....odd. After I was seated, I lifted the top off of the sandwich, and where is the tomato? The sandwich was cut in half, so I looked at the other side, it looked the same. Upon further inspection there was ONE 2" diameter slice of tomato on each half of sandwich, approximately 1/8" thick. No kidding. The bacon was some very flat pre made stuff that was resembling aluminum foil in thickness. The lettuce was shreadded into long stripe and was wilty. I went back into the empty store and showed the sandwich maker my open sandwich and asked where the tomato was. She graciously stuck her lingers and thumb into my open sandwich, lifted the bacon and lettuce and proudly said "There it is!" (She did have gloves on. God only knows what she had handled with them on) A supervisor came up and asked what the problem was. I explained that there were no tomatoes on my sandwich. He explained that was how they make them. He offered additional tomato slices, I did not take them. The point is-That was the standard that they serve. It was just ridiculous. Not coming back.

Some food memories stick with you. Not just the "that was good" kind... I'm talking about the kind…read morethat randomly pops into your head weeks later like, "man... those meatballs though." That was exactly what happened after my first visit here. Those meatballs lived rent-free in my brain, so coming back was an easy call. Earlier in the day we took a nice walk around Folsom Lake with some friends. Fresh air, good conversation, and by the time we wrapped up everyone had that universal look of "okay... where are we eating?" As we drove back and passed Dominick's it was one of those moments where the decision basically made itself. I was like yep... this is happening. Pulling up I noticed the line was out the door, which honestly is the Italian restaurant version of a five-star Yelp wink. A line like that usually means something good is happening inside. The place itself has a great vibe and you can tell people genuinely love this spot. While waiting I looked around the shop area and noticed they have wines available for purchase. One bottle caught my eye immediately... a 100-point rated wine. For anyone who knows wine, that's basically the culinary equivalent of a mic drop. A perfect score from top critics is rare air. Naturally I did what any responsible food lover would do... I snagged it. A 2020 Super Tuscan that felt like finding hidden treasure on a shelf. The young lady behind the counter was an absolute delight. Super friendly, welcoming, and she even laughed at one of my dad jokes... which means either it was actually funny or she deserves an Oscar. Either way, great hospitality all around. The food came out and the table looked like a proper Italian feast. We had the meatballs, calzones, a chicken panini, and the coleslaw salad. My friends were loving everything. Plates were disappearing fast which is always a good sign. Now for the moment I had been waiting for... the meatballs. They were still good, but they didn't quite pop the way they did in my memory. You know that nostalgic flavor that takes you right back to the first bite you ever had? That lightning bolt moment? I was hoping for that same flavor encore. This time it felt more like the band playing an acoustic version of the hit song. Still enjoyable... just missing a little of that original fireworks. But hey, every great restaurant gets an off day, and honestly the overall experience was still a great stop. Good food, great hospitality, and a place that clearly has a loyal following. And those meatballs? I'm confident they'll make their comeback tour. When they do... best believe I'll be back for the encore.

We had the Chicken Cutlet Parmagian and the Big Daddy, (roast beef and mozzarella with marinated red bell peppers.). We were really hungry so we each had a large sandwich. They cut it in half we were stuffed to just eating the 1/2 of the sandwich and took the rest home for leftovers. We also had some of the mixed olives and cheese from their deli case to snack on with our sandwiches. It was wonderful. They used a really good olive oil in their marinade. It's been many years since I tried the restaurant side, but I remember it being so wonderful and authentic. I can't wait to try that again soon too.
