The staff is awesome and works with you to make your procedure as comfortable and efficient as possible. Be sure to come at least a half hour early to fill out your forms (you can also do this online before your appointment). Then your tech will take you to your dressing room to change (if necessary) and give you a locker and key for your stuff. They'll position you as confortably as possible for your scan, clearly explain everything that will happen, and give you a set of headphones so you can relax to your favorite musical genre as well as drown out the machinery noise. They've got every type of music, from Bach to Rock. This is an especially nice accommodation if you're in pain, nervous or claustrophobic. My injury is to my spine and is extremely painful. Their wonderful pillow is so comfortable that I asked them about buying one! It can be chilly in the room, so you may wish to wear a something warm or bring a blankie with you. (They supplied me with one at my first visit too). They'll do their best to spare you discomfort if you're in pain. Mine is chronic and I can't thank them enough for going this extra mile for me. The waiting room is cheerful, comfortable and equipped with wi-fi and a coffee machine while you or companions await your scan. You'll leave with a CD of your images and they'll forward all your reports to your doc. They'll also email it to if you provide your email addy on your forms. I've had scans at other sites in the Triangle, and got good care at all of them, but the staff here is exceptional and won't make you feel like you're just another body on the conveyer belt of medical procedures. A friend who is extremely claustrophobic prefers to come here because the staff is so patient; he was treated like a nuisance, complete with rolling eyes and heaving sighs, despite explaining that he's a combat vet with severe PTSD, by another local provider. This site is conveniently located on Highway 42 in Clayton, in the health care "shopping center" beside the new hospital. There's lots of available parking and it's easy to find. If you live in Goldsboro, Garner, Clayton or Smithfield it's a fast trip to and from on Hwy 70. If your health care provider is responsive and gives you a choice, request to come here. The receptionist greeted me and apologized for the wait as she was working with another patient. Once I was able to check in she was very friendly, genuinely asked how I was doing, and engaged others politely when they came in. The nurse (sonographer?) was nice as well, quick, empathetic, and got me out within 15 minutes. I would definitely come here again.

My PCP referred me here recently for an ultrasound. I called the main line to schedule at any location to get in quicker and thankfully the garner location had an opening two days later. Vickie and Cara (a Wake Tech sonography student) did the ultrasound. Cara was so gentle and Vickie was experienced. They clearly communicated what to expect and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. The radiologist reviewed the scan and immediately called my PCP with the results.

She charged…read moreme because she wrote a script out for BP med I have been on for 10 years ( I could have had CVS call it in) , we discussed my A1C from my yearly blood work, and because she told me that my Stye could take two weeks to get over (never touched or looked at my Stye). I had made a six month follow up appointment but canceled it due to changing doctors. Dr McGill refused to fill my BP meds until I called to find out why. She allowed me to do without my meds because she wanted me to come in for an appointment. The ethical thing to do would have been to fill for a week then have her nurse call and tell me I needed an appointment. Instead she allowed me to run out of meds that have worked for 10 years. What about her oath to do no harm?

She listens to him and they banter back and forth which makes him all to willing to open up and share with her. She asks the hard questions that teens do not like to talk about and because of their relationship he is opened and honest with her which I believe is important in pediatric care. She takes her time when we are in her office and we never feel rushed or like she is in a hurry.

This experience is totally better than 1st rehab at a different place that double booked patients. I have the full attention of my therapist because I am her only patient. She was also able to interpret my facial expressions and make adjustments accordingly. I truly feel like my rehab program is being build for me to encompass much more than strengthening my knee and will increase my quality of life.

The front desk staff were fussing about not getting paid for their snow day & having to use their PTO from the time I walked in until the time I was taken in the back. I'd be frustrated too, BUT I wouldn't be talking about all that in front of patients. The check in lady wasn't rude or anything. She was just distracted a little bit. Julie was my mammography tech & she came to get me promptly at my scheduled time. She was not rude or anything, but you could tell she was just ready to get it over with. I mean, I'm the one who would be uncomfortable, so that should've been MY attitude. Instead, I was the friendly one. But anyway... She took me back to this changing room with lockers in it. There were no wipes or deodorant in there as is in every other mammogram office I've EVER been to. She told me to put their top on & open the curtain when I was ready, and I did. She came to get me...verified my info...asked me about breast issues...& got started. She never asked me if I had on any deodorant. I guess they don't care here. I went through the process, she reviewed the films, and she took me back to the changing room. From there, she walked me out the back door & told me that my results would be in MyChart or they'd call me if there were any concerns. Ummm, ok. The process was quick, BUT I prefer the Cary office for their excellent customer service, professionalism, and the way that they have everything in place for their mammogram patients. This office will be my last resort in the future.
