I'm in the process of filing a complaint with my Insurance Carrier (Blue Shield), Dr.'s like these shouldn't be seeing patience, in fact they shouldn't even be in practice at all. Somehow by graduating medical school, physicians like these believe their time is more valuable then anyone else's. Don't wait in line to see these people, it's a waste of your time!

My experience hopefully doesn't represent the rest of the staff at this office as the front staff was awesome, the staff doing testing was great but my Dr., Dr. Ahuja was dismissive and didn't do a good job explaining testing AND he orginally didn't even bring the pulmonary test IN to the exam until I asked him to so I can review it with him. When we reviewed it he only focused on a few spots and left out areas on my testing which were 26 percent of predicted amount. I didn't notice this till after I left the office. I called the office back minutes after leaving and spoke to his medical assistant who also stated that its odd that the 26 percent of predicted was not explained or discussed. She called back and said that the Doctor is done explaining the testing and I am welcome to go someone where else for a second opinion. Please see a different doctor at this location. calling back and asking for an explanation on a 26 percent of predicted and then being blown off by being told to go somewhere else is unbelievable customer service and probably doesn't represent the whole company but he works for them. Showing up to an appointment to review results with NO results in front of me is a red flag. Then when I asked about going over them with him and him only focuses on 3 parameters was also a bit odd as he constantly redirected me back to 3 parameters. When asked over the phone once I left about 26 percent of predicted to be told he wouldn't answer, and I can go somewhere else as he is done explaining is rude and unprofessional. I have been under Dr. Huang's care for years now and I am very happy with him. Dr. Huang is a very quiet man and he is very caring and knows how to treat his patients. I was found to be in stage 4 of a very rare lung diease in 2006, no treatment or cure for this only Predisone to slow down the spread of the scar tissue on my inside. Stage 4 means it has spread to my eyes which is how it was found I started going blind. I was given a c-pap that did not work for me so Dr. Huang put me on Oxygen. Dr. Huang is one of many doctors I see and he is one of 2 I look forward to seeing I never leave there feeling worst then when I went in like some of my other doctors make me feel.

They moved from Pasadena to Duarte a couple of years ago. Their office here is also a sleep lab, and it should be quite convenient to schedule a test here. (I did mine back when they were in Pasadena.) The above is a typical yelp review, but the most important thing here is that Dr. Young saved me! Two years ago, Dr. Young diagnosed my sleep apnea, and prescribed the right treatment for me (CPAP). My health improved dramatically, and as a consequence life has become fun again. If you are reading this review, then most probably you have some sleep problems. Don't wait! Get some treatment!

I've never felt rushed like with some doctors, and he encourages patients to ask lots of questions and isn't even bothered by patients reading up online (some doctors get annoyed or sometimes take it personally when you've done your homework ahead of time). I have referred friends to Dr. young and will continue to do so. Also, his staff is pretty great, I've never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seen, they are friendly, and they're pretty together!
