I called ConfiDent after a quick search online for an emergency dental care. They were very accommodating, patient, and took the time to explain the options and costs. Dr Humam has an amazing bedside manners, was very patient, and personable . With the technology in their office they were able to treat, rebuild and fit me for a new crown same day (which fits perfectly and has a near perfect color match? What?!?!). Every person in this office exudes genuine care and warmth. I'm so happy to become a patient of ConfiDent!

Anyway back to Confident, I found them online and wow! I mean from scheduling the apt to walking in and be greeted so sweetly by Taylor! I went with my whole family, a 12, 9, and 6 year and myself and they saw all of us at the same time! My kids literally had the best experience. What kid likes the dentist? My hygienist Milke was amazing! He was very thorough and explained everything. He cleaned my 6 year old's teeth, she was so nervous but she walked out excited about her teeth and not having any sugar bugs! The doctor was very nice and took his time. I'm so excited to have found a new dentist office with great friendly employees! Thank you Confident!

The…read moreprocedure itself went very well, and the surgical team--including Dr. Velez--was excellent. They were professional, skilled, and made me feel comfortable during a very painful situation. I'm grateful for the quality of care I received on the clinical side. Unfortunately, my experience with the billing process has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I specifically chose this provider because Dr. Velez was in-network with my Medicare Advantage plan and had successfully treated me in the past. Despite confirming that I had valid coverage, I was required to pay $4,574 upfront on the day of surgery. I was in severe pain due to mandibular tori that had grown together along both sides of my lower jaw, so delaying the procedure to sort out billing or insurance issues simply wasn't an option. I paid the full amount that day out of necessity. Now, nearly five months later (as of April 24, 2026), I have still not been reimbursed the $4,546 that is owed to me. According to my insurance, my responsibility should have been approximately $30. The lack of timely reimbursement and the burden of such a large upfront payment have caused significant financial stress. While I highly commend the surgical team, the billing practices and follow-through have been unacceptable. Patients--especially those on fixed incomes--should not be placed in this kind of financial position after being assured of coverage. For this reason only, I provide a "buyer beware" at this practice. I am hoping that we will finally get some response from the billing team after much correspondence to them both from me and my insurance company so far to no avail.

Staff and doctor were great at consultation and before and during my extraction. However once I…read morereceived my claim from my insurance I was overcharged by $400. Called the office and they say the billing department would have to reach out to me. No one has yet to reach out to me so I called the office later this week ( today ) and was told I was sent a $55 check ?? So I call my insurance to confirm I was indeed owed $400 so we call the dental office back again and she says the same thing but adds there's no number to reach out to them only email but when you call you have the option 3 for billing but no one answers. I just don't like when I'm owed money and offices take their time giving it back but if you owe them they blow your phone up with texts , calls and emails.

I had a tooth extracted at this practice today and can say if I ever need another tooth extracted…read moreagain (hopefully not), this is where I'll be coming. My appointment was set for 1:30, but I was asked to come in an hour early to fill out paperwork and get any X-rays needed. I was met with the sweetest front office representative who made the check in process quick, while answering all my questions. It's not often you checkin for surgery and get someone warm to discuss your insurance. After fifteen minutes of paperwork I was back in the procedure room. Dr. Loetscher began with a consult, just going over my dental history and then explained exactly what he would be doing with photos and diagrams. It's surgery and yet I wasn't a bit nervous because of how thoroughly he explained everything. He noticed I needed my wisdom teeth out as well and offered to do that for me so I could get everything done in one swoop. Extremely kind knowing he probably could have had me schedule that for another time so he could go home since it was the end of the day, yet he fit me in. Right after he placed my IV himself and I was drifting off for the surgery to begin. After an hour, my driver received a call saying I was out of surgery. So quick! I waited about ten minutes for my tooth to be made and then they put it right in. No waiting six months with a giant hole. I look like myself, just now with probably the strongest tooth I'll ever have and a wee bit swollen. They sent me home with concise aftercare instructions and plenty of gauze to keep my wisdom teeth extraction site happy. I cannot say I've ever been to a medical office that's been as clean, efficient, and well run with the best nurses. Everyone was so kind and patient knowing this is something that can be daunting. Truthfully, I'm excited for my post-op check up next week because of how nice everyone was. Best dental/surgical experience I've ever had. I'll be recommending everyone to this office: family, friends and strangers. Do yourself and your teeth a favor and check out Dr. Loetscher. You will not regret it.

Their billing and insurance claim procedures are very misleading. Leading up to the day of my procedure, I was never informed what the procedure would cost. On the day of, I provided my insurance information to the receptionist who told me, "I was covered and to have a seat in the waiting room." She would later deny having told me this, but if she did not say this to me, my next logical question would have been how much is this costing me today? Instead, they waited until after the procedure was done and I was recovering from anesthesia to hand my wife a bill for $7000.00 to extract one tooth and told her that it had to be paid in full today. They would then submit my claim to my insurance company and I was responsible for following up. To no surprise, my insurance barely covered 10% of the cost. I was very surprised by this bill and certainly not prepared to pay it that morning. My wife had to scramble to find the money from various sources as I was still in the recovery area. This is not how health care service should be transacted. I should have been informed of the cost and the insurance claim process prior to my procedure. Then I could have made an informed decision regarding my finances and my health care. I believe they were not up front with the cost because it would have deterred me from getting the procedure that day or I would have at least shopped around for more affordable options. Buyer beware of this unscrupulous practice by some providers to trick you into getting expensive services and leaving the customer to deal with their insurance provider.

I was referred to this practice by my local dentist, Dr. Christine Dawson due to a cracked molar. My phone interactions prior to my appointment on Thursday January 7th was great. While I had to wait at their office before my procedure was done, the staff was helpful, friendly and attentive. Jean was my consultant along with Dr. Taylor; both of whom explained in detail my options, were knowledgeable, understanding and helpful in getting me set up for an extraction. Dr. Taylor took time in both the consultation AND when getting ready to perform the extraction. Joan was the 'post' op person who was likewise: attentive, friendly and gave me all the information needed. There was also an African American female (said she lives in Duluth) that assisted in the procedure and was super nice as well. Considering that NO ONE wants to have this type of surgery, I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is in need of dental implants. Kudos to the entire office!

I do not recommend Dr.Korb…read more I broke my jaw and was referred to him by my dentist. Initial I thought it kind of him to come in on his day off to evaluate the damage. However, I then learned he assumed that because I was 17 years old, I broke my jaw because I was drunk and fell (not the case). When I did meet him and told him I broke my jaw by fainting, he then insisted I fainted because I was stressed with school (again, not the case). He continued to impress on me and my mother his OPINION on the cause of my accident instead of focusing on his profession of repairing the damage. He disregarded what I told him when I would describe things I noticed and felt with the movement of my jaw, to the point where he would directly state to me that I was wrong. As my treatment progressed, this same patterned of behavior continued. In the end, Dr. Korbs "treatment" resulted in my need to follow up my oral surgery with orthodontics because Dr. Korb ignored my insistence that his work was shifting my teeth. At the end of the process, my bite was not in line and I continued to have discomfort and locking with my jaw. Now, a few years later, I am finding myself in enough chronic pain that I have to re-address the poor job Dr. Korb did in aligning my jaw. In summary, Dr. Korb performed bad work and made my already traumatic experience infinitely worse with his ignorant and condescending personality. Do not go to Dr. Korb, and do NOT take your children to Dr. Korb.
