I've been an Arthur Murray student for years and have visited/been to 6 different studios and this…read moreone impressed me the most out of every one I've been to. The studio space is large with no impediments around the dance floor with really great mirrors and lighting. What really stands out for me is the franchisee Daniel. He was beyond nice to fit my husband and I in for an exchange lesson on a few days notice andddd stayed open late just for us because he didn't have any actual slots available. He also is facilitating the transfer of the lesson from our home studio without us lifting a finger. He was also just a beyond helpful teacher that explained and demonstrated things well and even in just one lesson gave us a lot of really great tips that vastly improved our dancing. 10/10 would do another exchange lesson here, and would recommend.

The heat relaxes tight muscles and I can even tolerate summer heat better, now. I knew fitness classes were not my thing, but I took one to make the quota for a challenge. Now I go to a variety of fitness classes nearly every day + go to deep stretch classes. I've had my membership for 3 years, and it's very reasonable. The facility is clean, the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Classes are very comfortable as the lighting is dim and we are always encouraged to work to our own level and not risk injury. I am thrilled with the results of my membership. Classes have improved my strength, mobility, energy and pain levels, skin and mood. It's a happy and comfortable place to go to. As to another review, letting surfaces air dry, rather than rubbing with a cloth is the standard procedure in hospitals for disinfection, as it permits the solution to sit on the surface longer.

I have been to only one class, so I can't say too much about their classes and instructors. The…read moreclass was fairly full so the facility seems popular enough, although I will not go to a class with that instructor again. I noticed that Oxygen has really streamlined the business and minimized costs. It's located in a shopping plaza. It might be different during the day, but for an evening class there were no staff, and the participants waited outdoors for the instructor, then checked themselves in on an iPad. There are no changerooms, just two bathrooms and a single shower (which appeared unused despite this location being 100% hot yoga). We were asked to leave our clothes and valuables by the (locked) front door... there was no other storage for clothes, and I think many people left their coats in their cars. At the end of the class, we were asked to spray our borrowed blocks but no need to wipe them (no paper or cloth towels available - again less overhead costs). I think the owner of this business has a good thing going, from their perspective at least.

This facility is a great option for anyone visiting Victoria who needs to work on their strength training while on vacation. They have several Life Fitness machines, including pectoral fly/rear deltoid. They also have some older machines from a brand I have never heard of before called Keiser, which turned out to be an American brand based in Fresno, California. The Keiser machines are strange because they have thumb controls to manipulate a pneumatic system which controls resistance, rather than the traditional system of sticking a pin into a weight stack. But once you figure out how to use them, they're okay.

The facility is fabulous, the heat is very consistent here so you know what to expect. I find that with other studios instructors set the heat according to their liking which is odd since you as the instructor is not practicing at that time, so what makes you think you can set it to your preference? Good job Westshore, you are always consistent and make practitioners feel welcomed. I always take the extra 15 min drive to this location, because they make you feel welcomed and inspired :) A must try for anyone looking for a new studio or if you are new to Bikram's.
