Strawberry Shortcake Matcha Latte

So many yummy things on the menu! The coconut caramel latte is absolutely delicious. I liked the strawberry shortcake matcha latte. Love the cookies, smoothies and gelato too! It's also adorable inside and wonderful service.

Super cute space and helpful staff. I let the employee know this was my first visit and she helped me navigate the menu. My drink was good, but I need to go back and try something else for a real opinion. It was missing something for me. It wasn't bad, but not quite there. 06.06.2025

The coffee is great! As far as food, I've only had both of their avocado toasts (one with avocado and one without). They're both JUST ok, not the worst I've had but worth the price. I'm usually used to only getting one piece of toast but was glad to see they give 2 per order. The environment is fun, colorful and upbeat. Would love to come back and try some of their smoothies.0

Seasonal coffee flavor

Stopped at Raining Berries while driving north. It's an easy place to access from the highway and good for a quick morning bite to eat. They had lots of drink options to pick from including seasonal options. I went with an iced seasonal flavor that I found to be on the sweet side and I typically like my coffee sweet. I also ordered the avocado toast. It was good and not too heavy but it was definitely messy and was missing some acidity. My friend ordered an acai bowl, the base was kind of bland but the fruit was nice and fresh.

This place has a cute vibe and a big menu! Everything I ordered (pictured) was delicious and quickly served. It wasn't busy on a Saturday morning, which made it a great spot to meet up with a friend :) My friend also ordered one of the seasonal drinks, the iced honey maple latte, and enjoyed it. We would definitely return!

We had a stoke of luck by being the last customers on soft opening day where everything was 50% off.. After a long day of work and putting so much effort for live day, they welcomed us with with biggest smile :) The store is so beautiful with many cute props for great photos. I had the Feeling' Nutty Bowl and my husband had the Berry Bomb Smoothie. They were delish. So glad they made Sarasota they're home in such a great location. Go check them out and give them a big welcome. You'll love them.

Best latte ever since 1993! Remade a hot drink for us when it was cool. Service with a smile. Nice decor relaxing. Hours were great, too!

I'm moving from the area, and I am going to miss this spot so much! This is the best place to study/get work done! Best Açaí bowls in Sarasota/LWR/Bradenton area. Don't miss out!

I am happily obsessed with this instagram worthy establishment. Not only is the service great, the food is quit tasty and refreshing. The ambience is perfect for cute selfies. A great gluten free recommendation is the Hazy Nut.

First time in one of these places and I am in love. I had a toast with nuttela and banana topping and veggie burger they were so yummy! This was there soft opening and as crowded as it was service was fast and friendly. I love the atmosphere and environment. Its conveniently located in a busy central part in Sarasota. Warning GPS will take you pass the actual location. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu near me

This is a great addition right next to the gym. The owner is present, funny, and recognized repeat customers while I was there. The kitchen accidentally made an extra grilled cheese and they offered it to me--it was really good but maybe it was the serendipity of the whole atmosphere there. I also had a honey lavender latte and protein machine smoothie. I enjoyed both. My two cents would be to put a brown sugar and cinnamon rim on the latte. That might just be me. Lots of good choices in the menu in each category--bowls, smoothies, coffee, and food. Varied and comfortable seating. Staff were sweet and welcoming with all guests, who ranged from families, older couples, young and trendy, to a reasonably good looking bald guy eating a free grilled cheese. It's slightly pricey. But I've been paying a lot for coffees everywhere it seems lately. Good parking. No alcohol. No meat. Solid choice!

Cute coffee shop with lots of instagram worthy spots to take pictures. The cold brew was tasty but the matcha latte was a miss for me. I would be willing to give this place another try though and they have other tasty sounding options on their fairly extensive menu!

Of course, we had to try a few beers. I had the Chilathrilla, which I really enjoyed. My boyfriend ordered Fire in the Hole, and it was excellent with a nice spicy kick. One of our friends got a beer flight, which was a fun way to sample several different brews. It's pretty low-key from the road and easy to miss, especially at night. I came here for an alumni event and honestly hadn't heard of this place before. Inside, there's a cozy setup with a small stage and indoor seating. Our group was outside in the back under a covered canopy, with twinkly white lights, which was perfect for enjoying the nice weather this time of year in November. They offered a selection of locally brewed beers. I tried the Hefferweiser, which was pretty good. There's also a food truck out front serving Burmese food. Overall, this is a fun and laid-back venue to hang out with friends, possibly catch some live music, and enjoy a local brew. My only suggestion would be for them to advertise a bit more -- it'd be nice to know when bands or events are happening. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

After an entire Saturday of dense course material, I didn't have it in me to explore the night life Miami has to offer. I found this place & it was the perfect vibe - super laid back. Music selection was decent when it was on a playlist (I think). There was a guy intermittently playing live music - he wasn't great & was way too loud, but I just put on my airpods and turned on the noise cancellation feature, which toned it down enough for me to enjoy the rest of the environment. Alex was the one who took care of me & picked out a flight of sours, that were all delicious. The dole pineapple one was probably my favorite in the flight; strawberry smoothie tasted great but the texture kinda threw me off (it was thick... like a smoothie lol). She recommended the chorizo and hot honey pizza - also great, especially when it was hot out of the oven. I probably shouldn't have tried to eat the entire thing on my own, but I did anyway. I'd come regularly if I lived in town :)

What I've wanted to say about Tripping Animals is long overdue. As breweries keep sliding downhill…read moreand alcohol's cultural grip weakens, Tripping Animals keeps thriving. Not just because it makes great beer, though it does, but because it sells something harder to can: camaraderie. It gives people a place to become better friends, tighter families, and, occasionally, obnoxious but well-meaning uncles. This was the first place I visited after my COVID-era house arrest ended. That day it became a space that I, like many others, claimed as my own. Innovation has always driven Tripping Animals, and the brains behind the brand have never sat still. Plenty of breweries typecast themselves with one style and spend years chasing beer nerds, their friends, and whatever relatives they can drag along. Tripping Animals takes the better route. It welcomes everybody from kids to casual drinkers, and people from every political corner who can agree, at least briefly, that a cold beer beats trolling on Truth Social. The food program has taken a few laps around the culinary racetrack. Over the years, the brewery has hosted a mishmash of pop-ups, including Tex-Mex tacos, Texas BBQ, ramen, and raw bar concepts. These days, Trippy Kitchen leans closer to home with dishes like a Latinized Charc Board and a Parrilla Platter loaded with two cuts of steak, sausages, chicharrones, salad, and arepitas. The kitchen runs tight, so vegetarians can still navigate the menu without calling it early, while vegans are safe with a Pittsburgh Salad of veggies and fries. Trippie events push past the tired brewery playbook of long bottle-release lines and overworked food trucks sweating it out in a parking lot. Skip the Line turns hard-to-reach, viral restaurants into one-stop shops for unlimited bites. Irie Jungle does what many beer festivals only pretend to do: build communities by bringing home-brewers, collaborators ,and competitors together over their shared love of beer. Beyond that, Tripping Animals keeps stacking the calendar with art shows, comedy nights, maker's markets, run clubs, wrestling events, and more live music. Starbucks lost its soul when it stopped feeling like a third place between work and home. Tripping Animals never made that mistake. It remains a clubhouse, a melting pot, and the rare kind of institution where the pours matter, but people matter more.

My main issues came from service and food. Bartender with long dark curly hair clearly did not want to be there or let me order all the things I was interested in getting. After ordering just the sandwich at the bar she attempts to ring me up, I say can I finish ordering? I ask for a soda, she tries ringing me up again. At that point I just give up. I was about to order an appetizer and a dessert for the table. Turns the screen and suggests a 22+% tip when it's fast food style order and grab at the counter. I thought the contents of the churrasco sandwich were delicious, but too bad it was in between 2 of the hardest pieces of bread I've ever had. You could chip a tooth on that sandwich. If you're in the area it's not bad at all for a little hang out spot, but I'd just not go out of my way to eat here or expect great service.

We were welcomed by the assistant brewer, genuinely friendly, curious, and generous with his time. Before we even ordered, he poured a few samples and talked us through them. No sales pitch, no rush. Just pride in the beer and a desire to share it. We went for a full beer flight next. Every beer worked. Not a single miss. The sours stood tall, especially the Guava Pastelito. I expected fruit, and yes, it was there. What I did not expect was the cream cheese note and the unmistakable pastry dough character. It tasted like someone translated a pastelito into liquid form. Bold, strange, controlled. Truly unique. Outside, the food truck was already in motion, so we ordered sliders and fries for lunch. The fries were exactly what fries should be. Shoestring cut, crispy, hot, clean. Perfect execution. The sliders were something else entirely. The bun to meat ratio was dead on. Melted cheese hugging the patty, the sharp bite of pickle cutting through the richness, the meat crisp on the outside and juicy inside. No gimmicks, no excess. Just balance. We paired them with a lager from the tap, and that combination hit hard. To be honest, this was one of the best burger and beer moments I have had in my twenty five years living in the United States. A match that felt inevitable, like these things were meant to be consumed together, but only here. We had taken the Brightline up from Miami and spent the afternoon walking around Fort Lauderdale, tasting different breweries, letting the day unfold. Yet this stop stayed with us. Especially the White Oak IPA, Lokals Only. Clean, layered, and quietly confident. Sublime. The whole experience landed like a Michelin star meal, not because it was fancy, but because nothing was out of place. Everything had a reason. Everything worked. Balance, restraint, and care from the first pour to the last bite. This is not just a brewery. It is a moment done right.
