I'm sooo stoked that this Açaí Bowl/Coffee Shop has graced its presence in the Wesley Chapel area. Went for the first time and was greeted by such friendly staff who were not afraid to offer suggestions on the menu for the indecisive but also didn't rush us to order either. I love love love the decor with the flower backdrop for cool pics. It is a hot seller as everyone entering the shop gravitated to the backdrop to take selfies after ordering. They also have a conference room if you are looking for a place to rent for a meeting. The açaí bowls were delicious! A bit on the frozen side when you receive it but as it melts the flavors are not compromised. I don't think you can go wrong with any bowls. What a divine spot! I'm thoroughly excited that Raining Berries opened and I'm finally lucky to have a great new place not far from home. I think that's bad though. I'll want to be a regular. There's so many fun things to try here. I tried the Tropical Storm Pitaya Bowl because I love all things pineapple, mango, and coconut. I made sure to say no granola. Even without granola, it was huge. There is a local acai bowl place with mountainous bowls because of all their granola. I think that's bogus. This is the real deal with their wonderful amazing fruits. I also tried my hubby's s'mores mocha latte. Yes, yours truly picked it. I know what I'm doing. Oh yes! It was amazing and it made me smile. I love how the menu is arranged from a wide variety of smoothie bowl bases and style of toppings to the breakfast choices of sandwiches and platters. The coconut base was so refreshing and was the perfect accompaniment to the Pink Flamingo style topping with fresh fruit and sweet granola. The gourmet grilled cheese is my favorite; the sun dried tomatoes and the saltiness of the pesto melted wonderfully with the layers of cheese. Inside is cute, pink all over with unique chairs to sit in and a nice closed off glass conference room in the back corner. As for the coffee ... that's what gives it a 1 star. I asked for a small decaf coffee and they looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. They rang me up for an americano. Upon receiving my coffee and again confirmed that this was in fact decaf, they stuttered and said yes. ... it was in fact most definitely not as I sit here wired on caffeine heading into the evening. Note to self if I ever revisit this location to just order oolong tea that cannot be confused. My friend got a pitaya bowl and said it was decent, it did look really pretty but she said it was missing the nut butter that was supposed to be on it. $12.99 price tag on a small cup though. While going to the tampa premium outlets we searched for the quick coffee stop and came across Raining Berries. It is an amazing cafe with a beautiful decor. They provide wifi free internet also so one can drink coffee and work from the cafe too. They also have the conference room which one can book for the meetings. From the menu after having discussions we decided to start our day with Masala Chai, Mocha. Along with the drinks we ordered Bananarama and sweet dreams. We took our seating and clicked some pictures with the decor before we got our drinks. The drinks were freshly brewed and amazing coffee. While we were sipping our drinks we got our breakfast. My daughter is constantly talking about açaí bowls. So we decided to stop at this place for lunch before her tournament. When you first walk-in, you will be impressed by the decor. The place has a cozy afternoon chill ambience. There is also a private room with glass walls if you are looking to have a team meeting. My daughter liked the açaí bowl but said it wasn't the best because the Nutella was a bit excessive. I ordered a Blueberry Fields smoothie and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Although, the items were pricey, the portions were filling. However, stars were deducted because I was turned off by the vibes from the employees. The inside is really cool so it is definitely worth a visit just to hang out. They have some creative options for drinks. I tried the tiramisu frapp. It didn't taste much like tiramisu dessert in my opinion. The consistency of the frapp was not as thick as I would like, but it was still smooth enough. The use of the artificial chocolate sauce made the frapp less enjoyable. Overall it was an okay frapp. Not my favorite but also not too bad. I would not recommend the tiramisu flavor, but I will return to try another flavor to see how that changes my opinion. read more

I love açaí bowls and came in here a few weeks ago to get a bowl while shopping in the "fixer upper plaza" (Home Goods, Burlington, Hobby Lobby). My sister has been drinking matcha for like a year and I decided to try it since I'm not a coffee drinker and heard there's were health benefits to it. I ordered the white chocolate matcha iced tea and it was refreshing for a hot day. I never had matcha before but it tasted like something that was healthy but not disgusting. The place was very trendy and cute for photo ops and social media but the actual bowl wasn't the best. The toppings were all very good but the base itself was frozen and not blended at all. I could not get through to the base without scooping all the toppings off and then manually blending the pitaya with a fork. The taste was like any other fruit bowl and it was nothing extraordinary. The girls at the counter didn't go out of their way to help us with the menu when we got there either. I wouldn't drive out of my way for this place. read more

My first time visiting Raining Berries with with a small group of friends from a church group. They do ladies night every 1st Monday of the month there. I have to say it looks small from the outside, but is actually very spacious and quaint on the inside. I like that there are multiple seating options available whether you want to sit at a table, or high-top bar, or the outside tables. And you even have the option of renting out this lovely glass windowed room for special occasions. The staff were super friendly and patient considering we took our time looking over the menu to make our mind up. I ordered the matcha latte and it was delicious. All of the drinks my friends got looked good and they all agreed on the tastiness of them. Will definitely continue to come for our lady nights there and other times as well as I would like to try some of the other items on the menu in terms of smoothies and acai bowls. read more

This was my first visit back to Raining Berries since they're soft opening. Not because I don't like, I actually loved everything I sampled at their opening, it's just too far from Valrico for a morning kick start. I was in the Lutz this morning to visit Hobby Lobby, in the same shopping center, and decided to pop in there for a healthy breakfast. I ordered the Tropic Storm acai bowl for an energetic start to my day! I subbed out the chia seeds for slivered almonds and it was a great addition with the granola, mango, pineapple and coconut! It was packed full of fresh cut tropical fruit and crunchy delicousness, a great energy boost first thing in the morning! I'm currently loving their S'More Mocha Latte. I tried it for the first time on Monday and have had it 3 times this week. I also tried the Love Açaí bowl for the first time. It has Açaí Berry, Granola, Banana, Strawberries, Blueberries, Chocolate Nibs, Coconut Flakes, & Nutella. There was a good amount of Nutella on the bottom stuck to the granola and that was like a game changer for me. It was at the bottom so I ended the bowl with that sweet yummy Nutella flavor. I get 1.5 pumps each of toasted marshmallow and mocha for my latte. It comes out to $4.97 for a 16 oz. The açaí bowl was $8.97. The interior of the location is fresh, clean and trendy. There's a big wall set up for fun photo ops. They also have a beautiful conference room next to the seating area that you can rent out. The walls are see through so it would be more for fun type meetings and not really for confidential business. The location is in a great area close to lots of restaurants and there's a big self-parking lot in front. There's free wi-fi available and clean bathrooms. I also like their new system for loyalty points. Their system just remembers your credit card and assigns you points by how much you spend. Although, I don't know what happens if you use different cards. I just feel it's easier than downloading another app and remembering another login and password combo. read more

They offer really creative coffee & frappe drink mixes. I had the tiramisu frappe, but next time I'll be brave and I'll try the peanut butter and jelly Frappe. Yea, you read that right! Most of the time when I visit other places that serve these items they don't compare. However, Raining Berries food not only tasted better than many other places I've had an acai bowl at they don't limit themselves to one type of food item. Graining Berries is like a hip coffee shop mixed with a smoothie stand offering many different teas, smoothies, juices, coffees, bowls, muffins and small sandwiches. I knew Raining Berries was something special as soon as I walked in because their decor is inviting not like starbucks where everything is dark and all the chairs and couches are the same. Raining.Berries really differentiate themselves from their competitors by decorating their store with bright neon signs, modern furnishings (every couch and chair is a different shape and size) fur rugs and white and grey countertops. The dinning space is large, not cramped and I could see their menu perfectly via large horizontally hung TV screens. With being so new, the baristas had all the answers to every question about the menu! That's an A+ staff!! The trendy decor is picture perfect. As soon as we arrived my group couldn't help ourselves but to head over to take a picture under their "kiss my açaí" neon sign. And of course, I posted it all over social media. How was Raining Berries?... well unfortunately the berries don't actually rain but the coffee, the food and the service are Berry good. (Sorry bad joke) I've been a few times to try somethings and make sure it wasn't just a first visit lucky fluke. Sometimes you'll goto a place and get the veteran who knows how to quickly make everything perfectly and has take 100,000 orders even then snarkiest of customers couldn't be mad at. Every time over gone it's been that kind of experience. I could tell I had some of the newer staff members prepping my açaí bowl and while it wasn't 100% perfect I'd say it was 99%. They must train well or have amazing directions, I've yet to be disappointed 6 visits later. The coffee can sometimes take a couple minutes it's not always SB speeds but the quality reminds me of a true coffee shop. The atmosphere is fun and comfortable, seems like a great place to do work or study or even just hang with friends. Don't skip the açaí bowls they are excellent. I warn you the sweetness of the bowl can make your coffee a little bitter but I'm sure if you wanted you could get your drink sweetened! Was debating between the 3 and the 4 only bc the iced pumpkin latte wasn't as good it looked. The mix seemed a little off wasn't sure if it was just the syrup that I didn't like as much or maybe I just needed to mix it better. After I mixed it it was better. The staff was super friendly and I'm sure they could have remade for me but I was just embarrassed to ask. I think next time I'll stick to a hot latte and the one I liked which was the matcha white chocolate I believe and try one of their bowls. A definite must for cute pictures and the atmosphere.
