Great little shop. Feels like a step above a dollar store. You still find great deals like $5.00 for a table cover, but you also find a larger selection of crafts, decor and other items. I was also happy to find I could get balloons with helium here. That seems harder to find these days. It's worth a look! read more

Convenient parking behind the store. They have so much you could possibly need, poncho for a child . Nail polish Cleaning supplies Pharmacy milk seasonal toys and supplies like beach chairs/goggles for swimming socks, flip flops, glow sticks When you call to check if they have something you get a human being on the phone and they check to see if they have what you need. They also have a great high end Haircare selection. read more

This is a GREAT store, VERY GOOD prices, VERY GOOD customer service a young lady asked me "do you need any help?" Raindew Plandome Road is VERY well stocked and I walked around found a few other things I needed, a new belt, iron on patch, etc. Beats the heck out of Target! At Raindew Plandome Road someone cares if you return NOT so at Target or other huge retailers today. Bernard FitzGerald, Jr, Port Washington, New York 11050 read more

I have been going to Raindew for years and they were currently taken over by On Point ( new management - same location) I have to say that my experiences with On Point have been wonderful. I love the former in house Pharmacist Maria who left with the management change but I have been pleasantly surprised by Nick and the present pharmacy staff! My husbands insurance moved to mail order. Not happy to leave Raindew/ On Point. Last week I hade been searching for a medication that my insurance would not cover, had been back ordered most other places and is very expensive!! I was getting the runaround with OptumRx and was at my wits end - so I decided to try Raindew/ On Point. I called and spoke to Nick. He not only knew that he had the medication (available the next day) but was able to locate a coupon and got me a significant discount! I didn't even ask for the coupon he went out of his way to get it!! BRAVO to all and their professional and personal excellence!! read more

Worst place ever! The customer service is horrible, particularly the managers who do constantly call the police on paying customers just to get out the store. The shopping experience during these times is just terrible and sad. Spend your $$$ either online or another store that appreciates you as a person read more

Nowhere else can you find a walmart like assortment of general household items, drugstore items, craft supplies and clothing in a small and manageable store. I'm guessing that this is what a five and dime was like. This place has most everything that one could imagine they would need. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. read more

This store is the most useful in all of Manhasset. It has everything odd that you need every day. It is always so well stocked and the prices are GREAT. Everything you can possibly need is here. Kitchen ware of plates, serving utensils, coffee makers and tools. Household appliances of irons and vacuums. All the cleaning items you can think of. Bug killers. Cosmetics. Lotions. Great gift wrapping supplies. A pharmacy. Surgical equipment. Light bulbs. School supplies. Seasonal decor. All bathroom supplies such as towels and shower mats and shelves. Relaxation clothing like sweatpants, sweatshirts, plain t shirts and pajamas. They have a huge sock selection. Hair products and supplies. "As seen on tv" products. A HUGE toy selection and even some simple sports gear. They have EVERYTHING. This store also has parking in the back. Registers are in the front and back so you never have to wait long to check out. Only setbacks is that the store is a little awkward. I go to the raindew in Bayside sometimes and the setup is more organized and user friendly. You can find things very quickly there but not so much in this Manhasset location. Also the lady at the front register is sometimes very rude and almost deters you from coming back. On multiple occasions she was unfriendly and extremely curt to me and i hear the same thing from locals around the area. She gives off a bad attitude. She doesn't make you feel like a valued customer like the other local stores in Manhasset. Anyway. Great store and I'm always there! :) read more

Just had a bad experience at Raindew Manhasset. We purchased an iron on June 3 from Raindew. It turns out the iron leaks. We brought it back yesterday and the manager told us we needed a store receipt. We went home, found the original receipt and went back to the store today. The manager said it's not his problem, we should go to Black & Decker. We make an effort to deal with neighborhood stores. Next time we'll go to Bed & Bath, they take back defective merchandise without any questions. read more

Anything you need, you can find it at Raindew. Decent prices, particularly when you use the sale circular. Maria the pharmacist is wonderful. With stores like Target and Walmart a good 15 minute drive (without traffic) from Manhasset, Raindew is critical for many last minute purchases. read more

I ordered a computer stand for my bedridden wife 12 days ago. It never arrived, and every attempt I made to track the "shipment" was so convoluted as to be impossible to navigate. DON'T BUY FROM RAINDEW. PAUL OHARA read more

Place is great, Maria has been my pharmacist for years: pretty and smart. Need a script filled, a Vise Grip and tennis balls? Raindew. Need a Peeps, shampoo and motor oil? Raindew. Need a K-cups, a tee shirt and that thing you don't know the name of? Raindew. Get the picture? Prices are ok and service is good. Don't be a dope and drive forever. Raindew's got it right there. read more

Out of the various Raindew's I've been in, this one is the best in my opinion. They have great sales on everything under the sun, and very reasonable prices overall. This particular store is huge, with a very nice selection of everything. Love this Raindew! read more

Huge drug/convenience store with inventory including underwear, stationery, cleaning products, makeup and everything in between. They take Bed,Bath & Beyond coupons! But beware of the grumpy cashier at the Plandome Rd. entrance. (there's a back entrance with cashiers there too). They mark things down alot like after Christmas, Valentine's day, etc. read more

They do not honour their 14 days return policy for exchange or store credit, printed on the customer receipt.

It seems they have almost anything you need, from pharmacy items, to hardware goods, to household necessities and the cheapest milk in the area. Everyone who works there are always polite and helpful. Need Christmas lights? They've got it. Drano? They've got it. Picture hangars? Yup. As seen on TV stuff? Snuggies galore. read more

Never have a had such a terrible experience in a store. After a manager was extremely rude to me he told me, 'I don't care the bosses love me, go complain.' ...Not going back there. read more

I have always loved this pharmacy and have been using it for years as a local of the neighborhood. I never had a problem until I dealt with a woman named Jodi when preparing prescriptions. Extremely rude, condescending and anything but helpful. Her attitude was if I was inconveniencing her to be asking for my medication to be refilled and if it was possible that this afternoon's delivery man could send it. I got home from work at 11pm that evening without my anti-anxiety medication because of her incompetence and lack-of-caring personality. The sleepless night went on with panic attacks because this woman was too busy being inconsiderate and anything but polite. I am now switching my pharmacy because of her, even though i love my pharmacists at Raindew. I don't ever want to take the chance of her handling my medications - very irresponsible and disappointing. If you use this pharmacy, Maria is the absolute best. I was unfortunate to have missed her that day. read more

This store has everything... Its almost a cross between a CVS and Home Depot.. It's always very clean and the service is friendly.

This place has everything and they're reasonably priced for Long Island. Much more affordable than Bed Bath and Beyond with very similar items, plus hardware. read more

Have you ever needed something and wondered "where can I buy something like that without ordering it online?" Raindew probably has it. They have a great selection of bandanas in many colors. Lots of seasonal goods and little household things that would ordinarily require a schlep to a big box place. It's like a suburban general store. read more

Rain- DON'T!! Do not shop here! Horrible customer service and overpriced items that you can find in a big box store. You should only "shop small" if the store is deserving of it. I had a pleasant experience the first time I shopped at this store, but when I tried to return an item that I bought there, they claimed it wasn't theirs. Save yourself some money and head over to Target or Walmart. read more

Bought some cream and when I went back to get a different size, the Manager, Frank, decides to make a joke about the cashier should make sure to wash her hands. After my girlfriend told me, I went back to tell the manager off and instead of apologizing, he flat out denies it even though the cashier admits it and says what can she do? He's the Manager. How awful for a manager of a drug store to be snickering and making jokes at the customers expense every time they buy something. Is he judging a person for buying a condom? How about medication? He's a poor excuse of a human being and should be fired for such terrible behavior. read more

The store I rate highly. The people are wonderful. Manager NOT helpful! Went in there and could not find Fertilizer, so I politely asked him for help. He said "anything I have is out there" and walked away. I asked a customer because I really wasn't sure what to look for and we found the one and only bag. I like to support our local stores. Next time I will go to the gardening store in PW they are helpful. read more

This place is amazing!! Not only does it everything you could possibly imagine but it has great customer service. When you walk in, everyone greets you with a smile. The best cashiers I've had so far are these two young women, Emma and Ari (She had an exotic name but she told be to call her this). They knew everything about this store and were too kind. All of the managers are so respectful but my favorite is the one that sings, I think his name is Andrew. At first I was caught off guard, but his voice is so angelic!!! The stock guys are always there when you need them. For some reason, at night they only call Rudy, the best you can get. Raindew is one of the best experiences for all customers. read more

The only place I go for my meds. Maria, the pharmacist, is best. Caring, smart and always friendly.

I have been shopping at Raindew since I moved to Roslyn around 10 years ago. From my experience I can only say it has gotten better and better. It carries everything from toys to light bulbs to the pharmacy. Whenever my kids get ill I always have the prescription filled at Raindew just because it is so convenient, Maria in the pharmacy is amazing she seems to know every face that walks in the door because she is so friendly with everyone. Recently when I came in I got a little upset when I heard my favorite cashier has gone away to college. Her name was Emma and whenever I came in to get power-ball tickets I was always greeted with a huge smile not only was she kind, she was efficient. Never have I ever seen someone run the register by themselves so productively. But in the end I'm giving Raindew 5 stars for their Stock, Parking, and the Genuinely Nice Staff. 10/10 read more
