Over the past year we have had them completely renovate our large Master Bathrooms (2) & one large Guest Bathroom (replace all fixtures, renovate, texture & paint walls, build walk-in showers, replace tile floors with gorgeous porcelain) & renovate a smaller bathroom, as well as repair & replace metal roofing including soffits & gutters, replace ceiling fans over our indoor swimming pool (no easy task!), cut down very large and dangerous trees, landscape our large property, and play with our dogs after they were finished....and if our dogs love you, you must be wonderful people :) Honestly, they can do it all and then some, including being punctual, considerate & totally professional in all respects....I can't remember ever having anyone "clean" their way out as they left the house until AJ's. We had a very disappointing experience with S&G Carpet…read more The initial installation was extremely poor, staples and nails and screws were left exposed on the carpet and also thrown on the floor (a safety hazard, especially with small children), debris wasn't cleaned up, and there was even a spill that was not disclosed until we pointed it out. The carpet also had to be redone due to workmanship issues, requiring multiple return visits and extending what should have been a straightforward project into several days. (Install was Monday and was finally properly completed on Thursday) While the company eventually sent a different installer to correct the work (2 more times), the process to get there was frustrating. Communication from management was argumentative and combative at times, to the point that I did not feel comfortable meeting alone and asked my husband to be present. The tone of the interaction was noticeably different in person. We ultimately reached a resolution, but it took far more effort than it should have. After spending nearly $8,000, the level of workmanship, professionalism, and overall experience simply did not reflect the value we were promised. I would strongly recommend closely monitoring any work done and documenting everything if you choose to use this company.

Let me start off by saying if I could give this company zero stars, I would in a heartbeat. I have…read morenever been so disappointed. Our water line was leaking. We were informed by the city that we had a pretty major leak - 18 gallons an hour. They referred us to Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of NWA. Benjamin Franklin was punctual, which I appreciated. That is about the only positive thing I can say. After the leak was found by Trenchless Leak detection, a tech from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came out to fix the problem. They proceeded to quote me $1693.00 to replace the part and provide labor. After expressing my concern at the price, the tech told me it was $280.00 for parts alone. I asked him if this was the best he could do. His response was yes. My husband also spoke with him to ensure that it was indeed an ok deal. I was naive enough to think that honesty and integrity was going to be used in this situation. Here are the notes from the invoice. Customer has a water leak at the meter nut. Tech called Bentonville utilities and had a meter tech meet us on site to verify that the issue is the homeowners. Tech also received city supplied washers for the union nut on end of meter loop. City states that they are not responsible for this issue. Task description Price and total: RL5-11 spot repair with DEPTH OF LESS THAN 2FT 1.00 $1,693.00 The hole was the size of a bread box. This took less than one hour to repair. After the fix, they found that there was ANOTHER leak in the yard. They then said it would be ANOTHER 1600.00 dollars! I would have to have the leak detection agency come back out as well in order to find where in the yard the leak might be. Absolutely not. I called around. Luckily, DPH Plumbing was able to come out a few days later. They said it would be less than 800 dollars and would give us a more precise number when the work was finished. DPH TUNNELED under my sidewalk in order to fix the issue. Our builder had used very poor tubing. They didn't just patch the problem. DPH replaced the entire hose. It took them around 3 hours. The total that DPH charged? $507.17. That's less than a third of the price for 3 times the labor. If you use Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, please, please, please, get a second opinion. They took advantage of my naivete, and I certainly paid for it. I would hate for anyone else to have to deal with this issue when it could be avoided.
