Service on HVAC unit on residential house was performed on 08/30/2021. They arrived promptly and their tech found bad capacitor (Model: TRCFD455) in outside unit. I had been informed on initial phone call that the price was going to include a separate $79.00 dispatch fee. The tech then quotes me $150.00 for the part plus dispatch fee, however the fee would be waived for a $20/month service plan from them. That was at least a $79.00 savings today, he said. Agreed for plan and had him proceeded. My wife and I had just gotten back from our honeymoon and the house was in the low 90s with myself being sick from heat exhaustion. After completing the work, he slid the pad to us and said the part was actually $229.00. $150.00 originally for part + $79.00 for dispatch fee coincidentally equals $229.00 and showed on invoice that I had agreed to membership with all of that $229.00 being for a capacitor (Model: TRCFD455). At the time, it seemed high, but it was on one line item and I assumed they were maybe correct. After they left, I verified the part they installed was from $11 - $20 MAX on Walmart, Grainger, and SupplyHouse.com. That is an upcharge of 1000% I called company next day to immediately cancel contract and see what happened and make amends. Was called by a gentleman named Stacy who tried to say that the part price is indicative of them having to have it in stock. He then miscommunicated with his team regarding them reaching out to me to rectify this. In the meantime, they do not keep copies of changes they make to invoices. I received a call today from them from a Jessica who could only see the changed invoice and had to walk her through everything including having to send original invoice. The company has no liability to keep or maintain these copies and can change it to say whatever they want without customer's approval or consent. I provided Jessica with full breakdown and copies of my invoice. At first, they tried to say the $229 was for canceling membership and I told her I was charged originally regardless $229 for the part. Terrible business practices and customer service, DO NOT USE!!! Refused to repair damages their technician caused to my parents' house. He dislodged a pipe in the attic during a routine maintenance check, resulting in a collapsed ceiling. Company refused to take any responsibility or correct its mistake. There is no doubt they were responsible for the damage.

Their $250 part.

Rusted out pool pipe needed replacing. Jerry showed up on time the same day and disconnected…read morepiping. He recommended piping be put underground, being late in the day he showed up the next morning to assess the situation and accused the builder of a 6 year old house that the gas line was 'not up to code'. I contacted the builder concerned who reassured me it was with photos and a video. He then reassessed the situation and determined it was ok then said he would be "right back". He never returned that day. It being day 2 with gas for hot water, i contacted another plumber. I texted him and figured he didn't want the work. He called back and said he still wanted to complete the work, but said he had 'emegencies' that day and forgot to contact me. I said that's fine but i need a fixed bid. He said he could provide an estimate but "didn't know what he was going to find" in the ground. Which is not a "fixed" bid. The new plumber showed up the next assessed the situation and determined that digging was not required and gave me a firm cost. They had my gas back on by the afternoon. Meanwhile, I told Jerry i would pay for the work completed as I felt bad. He showed up to my house without notice and demanded payment then as 'he had to be somewhere'. As I was out i told him i could leave him a check when i got back but couldn't magically appear at that moment. I ended paying Jerry for the 'work' he completed. A nice fellow, but not very focused on the customer's situation. He recommended unnecessary work ( a bunch of needless trenching) and needless anxiety (by suggesting my gas line was not up to code and the house may 'blow up'). And i spent $460 on nothing but grief and a 2 day delay. Wouldn't recommend. Find someone else.
