I love this place. I'm not sure if the negative reviews are from a time when there was different owner or what. Move been here about 5 times since moving to the area. I've tried a couple of other places, but come back here because I like it the best. I'm not good with names, but every time I get my nails fine, there are two women and a man. The one woman seems to have a lot of regulars. I typically see the man, but have had the other woman before. When they've done my nails, they don't rush. I get shellac and it lasts at least 2 weeks. Once it lasted over 3 weeks!! They are all very friendly. Always have conversation, but not one of those uncomfortable pressured conversations. The salon is small and simple. It's clean. Nothing seems outdated. They do waxing and nails. They have a variety of pedicures they can do and they range in price from I believe $25 for a basic up to $65 for a fancy one. I could be a little off on the prices. My shellac mani is $35. They are open Sundays through the summer. They get busy at times, but the wait isn't horrible. It's a great little place! read more

Absolutely fantastic! I went through about 4-5 salons before I found rainbow nail. There was always an issue with the salons that I tried to go to. The nails would fall off, the people weren't professional, different things. These guys got me in the next day for a full set and two pedicures. It was my son's first pedicure and they were absolutely amazing with him! I also could not find anyone to do the design that I wanted, And I showed them the picture fully expecting a no. They didn't no problem! It looked absolutely fantastic! Boosted my confidence and made me smile for weeks!! Definitely will be repeat customer, I have found my new salon! read more

I had acrylics done at rainbow nails, they looked great. However, when I went back to have them taken off some time later, a clearly inexperienced employee ripped off my entire nail. I was horrified and went to speak with the manager, who took off the rest of my nails without issue. They then still charged me for the service, despite me going home with one nail completely gone and my nail bed bleeding. I wish I could give this place less than 1 star. This did happen a few years ago, but this place is still under the same management. It was such a horrible and traumatic experience that I have not been able to have my nails done since. read more

I had a gift certificate for Rainbow Nails. I have not wanted to go into a salon with Covid, but I've now had my vaccine. I called and asked if they were extending the expiration date on their certificates and they said only by 90 days. Very bad business practice! Very sad way to treat customers! Will never go back there again. read more

I hate leaving a bad review because the technician was sweet....BUT....the first color I picked was so dry it couldn't be used. So I picked another shellac and though I know that cheap colors do not look like the bottle, I settled on a color because it was 25 for a shellac manicure and I'm used to paying more and it was a convenient stop. HOWEVER....I'm not sure if it was tanning or what happened but the color went from purple to DIARRHEA GREEN. No exaggeration. I had poop fingers. I had to paint over what I paid for after just one day. What a waste!!!! I was so upset. NEVERRRR will I go back here. read more

Terrible! I brought my daughter & 2 neices for mani/pedi 2 days before a childhood friends wedding. My daughter is matron of honor & was matching her nail color to her dress. One of my neices rcvd. decent service. Her nails are acceptable. However my other neices nails have messy polish while my daughter's nails are butchered! She's bleeding at 4 cuticles! The cuticle on her thumb is mangled & scabbing! The polish is pathetic. Sloppy, all over the place & bubbling. Just a complete mess. There's no time for a redo bcuz the wedding rehearsal is tonight & the actual wedding tomorrow. After paying $108, we'll be redoing her nails ourselves! Plz save yourself the stress and go to a real salon. You will pay a bit more but at least you'll receive excellent, professional service. read more

Been to this place a few times and loved it. Today, my daughter and I went for shellac French manicures and they were awful. Only took half an hour for both of us. Really in a hurry to get us out. We both left with uneven nails, polish on our skin, gunk under our nails and streaks in the polish. So disappointed . Don't normally spend any extra money on myself so was looking forward to this treat. My daughter said she will stick to the press on nails from Meijer for $5. They last about 2 weeks! I never had been to this place but it's close to my work so I tried it. WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!! My pedicure looks revolting. Polish all over my feet. I asked her to scrub more in my feet and she wouldn't. She was hurting me when she trimmed around my nails. I also got a shellac on the nails and it looked ok when I left but about 5 days later the polish started lifting and cracking and bubbling from my nails. Which in turn caused my nails to break. The girl that did my nails was actually getting her hair foiled at the same time she was supposed to be doing my manicure!! If I could prevent anyone from going in here I certainly would. I wanted a mani/pedi. Pedi was great except she used the trimmer tool to peel off a scab i had on my toe without asking and hurt. Then came my mani. Three other women walked in to be seen and it was just her and another man working so she gave me the quickest manicure I've ever had. I am a paying customer too!! Then she pushed back my cuticles on one hand and accidentally dropped the tool. So she just didn't push back the other hand and painted my nails so bad. The color was streaky and awful looking. They chipped the same night. I will never go back!!!! read more

do NOT recommend this place at all. This place has completely went downhill. This place is not clean, they don't wash their tools after each client. Liz use to be an amazing nail tech but she went downhill also, all she does the whole time is talk to also and stay on her phone. Ann is friendly but she isn't good at nails. She's very rough and cuts me with the electric file all the time. With leo he's super nice and does pretty good with nails but he doesn't pay attention. He stares at the tv and when he files the acrylics he doesn't do them evenly. if you go to this salon leo is the best one to get . the girls aren't good at all. I took a chance on a cheap nail place and left with a manicure I could have done better on my own. The place was dirty and all the nail polish looked old. Against my better judgement I got a manicure (not shellac) and it started chipping within 12 hours. Next time I will just do my nails myself or pay extra for quality work. read more

It's really not a very good nail salon. They seriously need to buy some new supplies. The nail files are so old and the towels are dirty and old. I don't know how many people they use the same supplies on before they change or at least clean it. This place is not clean. read more

I am really surprised at all the negative reviews for this place! First and for most, they actually spoke to us when we walked in and with a smile! Andy did my nails and did a great job,( he was great considering I had a cast to my shoulder and couldn't really move my arm or hand much) He also did my daughter's nail's and did a fantastic job! We were so pleased with the work done and how incredibly personable they were here! This was our first visit and we will be back... I will post again to update on follow up visits but I do anticipate they will be just as good!! read more
