Rainbow Medical Supply should not be providing services to patients or individuals with disabilities. I contacted the company to have my wheelchair repaired and was charged $150 for a service visit. The technician incorrectly diagnosed the issue as a battery problem, which it was not. In addition, two wheels required repair. After the visit, the wheelchair continued to malfunction and eventually stopped working. I contacted the company for two weeks daily, requesting a follow-up visit. During this time, my calls were not returned, and no appointment was scheduled. This company serves individuals who depend on medical equipment for mobility and daily living. The lack of professionalism, responsiveness, and adequate service is unacceptable. No patient should be treated in this manner. read more

She consistently answers all of my calls, any questions I may have, as well as delivering supplies as needed. The owner Galina is extraordinarily rude. I overheard her on a three way call tell my drs office that if they don't like the way Rainbow delivers medical Supplies and conducts their business my Neurologist can find another medical supply company. I as a patient in need of compassion suggest you find another company before utilizing Rainbow. Galina compared my need for my CPap machine with a furniture delivery. She told me and my Drs. office on the call I would have to wait for furniture so I should wait for my CPap. She yelled at the rep from my Drs. office she was horribly disrespectful. I have never been made to feel as insignificant as far as my health needs are concerned ever in my life. Medical equipment is for people who are in need. My experience with this location is below zero. My dad went there to get a shoes and after he left his prescription for over 3 weeks. They lost it and we had to get another one. And I emailed it to MARY as she recommended , and she never respond back about received it. I sent three emails and she ignored all of them. I called her today and she has no idea about the prescription and when I told her about going to another supplier for better service. She didn't even care. Awesome, supportive, knowledgeable service. Gelena shows a vested interest in looking out for her clients' well-being when considering the type of equipment to buy. My dad was already defensive and vulnerable before we arrived at the store, believing his opinion would be ignored. By the end of the consultation, he completely respected the process and was at ease talking with Gelena. He was still adamant about the item he desired and pleased that he was able to obtain it (motorized scooter). Gelena let him know that the company will be there to support him, even if he changes his mind about his ability to handle the equipment. 6 months later, he LOVES that thing! It has become his primary mode of transport. Thank you for your service. Dealing with Rainbow Medical Supply is a nightmare! Do not waste your time! I've had to deal with this sh**show since July and have not had one month where I didn't have an issue. Most days, during business hours, they have an answering service taking calls/messages that one bothers to return. Even if you get an unprofessional, half-wit to answer the phone, don't bother leaving a message b/c you won't get a call back. It has taken me an entire week to actually get someone on the phone. Anna, the customer service rep I've had to deal with is rude, doesn't document missed deliveries of patient supplies and apparently has no records of when deliveries were made. This is a SHADY, antiquated, unprofessional operation.  Any company in this day and age that is supposed to be servicing Medicaid patients, and has such horrific customer service and business practices should be investigated by Medicaid. I've told my Medicaid provider to find another medical supply vendor for my mother's case b/c I am beyond done with dealing with such gross incompetence and negligence. read more

Under no circumstance should any decent person or MLTC do business with this company. They cheat the MLTCs and their clients by not delivering monthly products, or by shortchanging their customers. The monthly struggle dealing with Anna in remedying their continual errors is draining. I urge all MLTCs to not use Rainbow Supply or any of its owner's affiliates for any long-term care needs. As for my case, each month I almost have to beg them to mail our supplies, and on more than one occasion, they've attempted to lop off some product. They're recurring excuses- it is UPS's fault, or the MLTC's fault, or the customer's fault. Even the MLTC care manager tried speaking to them to no avail. The MLTC even increased the order size to account for the delayed shipments and other shrinkage. I am in the process of sending all my documents and call transcripts to the Medicaid fraud unit.
