Agree with others that the inside of the place isn't much to write home about - basic former fast food joint with all the tables removed - booths lined up against each side wall. The woman immediately waited on me..very pleasant. I bought a lg box of donuts as a thank you for a local business. I also want one for myself which I decided to eat on my way to my next errand. The main draw here is not the decor nor the service. It's the donut addiction . They make the best yeast donuts hands down. The twists tske it a step above and I swear I do not know what's in that delicious puffy warm yeasty dough but once you've finished one, you're hooked. Yeah you know the drill pull up to the back, bark your request into the little box and pick them up at the window. Easy and quick. But I dare, no double dare you not to peek inside the box and take a bite, cause once you do ... you're hooked. I almost hesitated writing a review because I don't want everyone to eat up my twists, but when you got a good thing, it's a sin not to share. Just leave me two , or three. read more

This is my go to for a sweet treat on a sunday after enjoying a few cocktails the night before. The donuts are always fresh, light, and fluffy and they have a great selection. The family that owns the store is very nice and always greeting their customers with a smile. I haven't tried the full menu, but the breakfast sandwiches are also very good. Inside is not very welcoming in terms of seating, but most people aren't looking to eat donuts in store anyway. read more

I hope the owners improve the cleanliness of their site. Donuts looked good. We went in for Smoothies & asked the ingredients of them. The smoothies are made with powder and no fresh fruit. Our go to favorite is the buttermilk donut. They are some of the best we've had. One time I tried the maple donuts and they were a little too sweet for me. I came here this afternoon for a quick lunch bite. I ordered the turkey bagel- which automatically comes with a variety of toppings including lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, banana bell peppers, etc. it was very yummy and I loved the seasonings. I also ordered an Irish coffee. This coffee was ok... too sweet for my liking.. it had a weird bitter taste to it. Next time I'll stick to my black coffee lol! Overall, would come again! read more

It's a donut place. It didn't blow me away but they were good. I wish a donut shop out there would make a jelly donut with regular sugar on the outside. The breakfast sandwich was great, but the donut was like eating a dry clump of Bisquick that had then been deep fried and coated with glaze. Heavy and no flavor at all. I ordered through "Bart's Breakfast Sandwiches", which is their third party store on Uber eats, and I went for the onion, tomato, bacon & egg croissant sandwich. When the ordered arrived, it was just a croissant with egg and melted cheese. My fiancé got the bacon and egg croissant, it was fine? Like what in the world, at least call the person who's ordering or let the Uber eats delivery person to notify me to order something else if they don't have it. Also, they don't seem to look at the special notes when you want a coffee as decaf and they give you a caffeinated cup of joe instead. read more

This place was a happy surprise! On our way out of town, we always hit one of the fast food spots in Fountain Hills for food and drink fuel. This was our first time choosing Rainbow Doughnuts, and we were really pleased. Everything we got was great! The doughnuts were fantastic--it was so nice to have true variety, not just one dough/style with various toppings. The turkey sandwich was really tasty--different from the usual fast-food fare--as was the breakfast egg and cheese on croissant sandwich. Really good tea, and the strawberry smoothie was amazing! Stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday morning and they were not busy. Ordered two breakfast burritos and a half dozen donuts to go. The restaurant looks like they took out much of the seating due to Covid so there is limited seating. When I got home the buttermilk bar literally had a bite taken out of it. At first I thought it had just broken off but I saw teeth marks in the donut. I wish I had taken a picture but I was so disgusted I threw in the trash immediately.
