I like places like these because the prices are so much better than any chain appliance store. I…read moreeven went to Sears Outlet and their cheapest dryer was $500. The appliances here can get that high $600 but their cheaper ones run ~$200. I understand that most of these are refurbished but washers and dryers are simple machines. They last for a very long time unless you put rocks in them. There was a 6mo warranty for labor and parts. Come here for washer, dryer, or refrigerator. My life advice: Don't get any washer/dryer that has digital displays. The more buttons/features there are on a machine the more likely it will break. Top load washers also don't leak. Get the cheapest dryer you need. They only do three things; push air, heat, and spin. Actually, don't buy a dryer and just hang your clothes. Dryers destroy your clothes. I'm digressing too far from this review. For 3 mi away, it was a $50 delivery charge and a $15 charge to get rid of our broken dryer. The $15 fee was worth it especially since it was upstairs. I don't know how to fix a heating element on a dryer nor did I want to bother learning how to fix it. I'm pretty positive these people will probably just fix it and resell it. There is nothing wrong with that. Their delivery window was from 10 am to 2 pm. They showed up right at 2 pm. That was my only complaint. Would I come here again? Yea. I'll come back in about decade when my next large appliance breaks.

After two years, though the refurbished dryer still works, the heating element doesn't work…read moreanymore. I'm basically back at square one with the same problem...

My son was having a problem with his Projector. I took it into Norman's Electronics and was…read moreprofessionally greeted and told the repairman would be able to get to it in 2 days. I paid the $49.00 fee and left. I was called within the 2 days and was told the Unit was completely checked out and that no problem existed. Seems that my son had neglected to do to age old operation of turning the system off, then back on after a storm. While that was annoying, the best part is that, not like some other repair persons that I have worked with in the past, there was no additional charges. All is well and I appreciated their honesty. I highly recommend this Company

I had previously thought highly of Norman's Electronics and had a positive experience with the…read morebusiness under its former ownership. Unfortunately, my recent experience under the new ownership was dramatically different. I brought in my vintage Pioneer SX-850 receiver for an evaluation. After a disagreement arose concerning the amount charged, I returned to retrieve my equipment and requested documentation confirming its return. What should have been a simple business transaction became an extremely confrontational encounter. Inside the business, the owner, Jeff, became so confrontational that I had to tell him to step back from me. I was then told to wait outside in approximately 90-degree heat while waiting for my documentation. Jeff placed my vintage receiver on a cart and pushed it outside, where the cart ended up in a ditch. I found the handling of my property and the manner in which I was treated completely unacceptable. The situation became serious enough that I contacted the Suwanee Police Department so there would be an independent record of the incident. I am an African American man over 70. After reflecting on the hostility of this encounter and the way I was treated, I seriously question whether racial bias played a role. I cannot know what was in another person's mind, so I will not present that as something I can prove. I can only describe what happened to me and why the experience left me with that concern. The owner's subsequent public response to my Google review only deepened my concerns. Rather than simply addressing the transaction, he accused me of bringing "negative energy" that "makes people lose their cool" and turned my disputed $99 credit into a promotional offer for other customers. For me, this stopped being about $99. It became about respect, professionalism, and how a customer and his property were treated when he questioned a charge. Based on my experience, I would not entrust Norman's Electronics with any of my vintage audio equipment again.
