Went to Rain Tree Salon for a cut and color after reading reviews. The girl who took care of me kept showing me darker colors than what I requested (my hair is very blond and gray). I finally selected her recommended color and proceeded with the process. When all was said and done, the color wasn't even close to the selected color. Wayyyy too light. She mentioned that she could add gloss to darken it (additional charge). I passed on it, paid my bill of almost $200 dollars (with tip) and left...not happy. The color that she used didn't even last two weeks before the gray came through. Will not return. read more

Went to get my hair coloured and cut recently. Super nice staff greeted me with smiles and warmth. They got me in at last minute and very impressed with that alone! The salon is clean and pleasant. They even offered me a bottle of water, but I come prepared with my own anyhow. While you wait, they have displays with items got sale - not just hair products, but also clothing abd handmade items. The stylist escorted me back and was very nice. I explained to her that my normal stylist couldn't do my hair due to medical issues. I advised her of what I was looking for and she made it happen!! So pleased with the outcome!! couldn't have asked for a better experience! I posted a picture of two weeks after the fact, and the hair still looks good! That's proof in the pudding for me. After so many terrible haircuts at other places where I'd ask them not to remove too much length, or asked for a dusting only to leave with 9+ inches of hair removed, I was very hesitant to try someone new. I'd waited so long that my hair was full of split ends and definitely needed help. Michelle validated all of my concerns and listened to what I wanted and gave me EXACTLY that. My girlfriends and I had a wedding on Saturday and our appointments at a nearby location were cancelled by the Salon last minute - luckily. I called The Rain Tree Salon and they came to the rescue! They were able to accommodate four blowouts/styles for us and did a wonderful job. I personally had Ashley and she listened to what I wanted and took her time to ensure I left happy. It was okay. I've had much better pedicures for cheaper. The area is nice tho and convenient location. I like that they have different services and it seems like the wax services are at a decent price. I'm sure I'll go back for a massage and a facial to try out, but I wouldn't pay for a monthly service. The girl who cut my hair and did my pedi was cool tho. This was my first visit at the salon. I am not one to complain about a service and I believe a customers dissatisfaction can be a learning experience for everyone. I also run my own business and believe Customer Service is the number one. I requested a color using a volume that the hairdresser was obviously not comfortable with. She should've told me she was not comfortable with that of Lyft. Instead, she said I'm not going to do that and there was no conversation afterwards, I would've respected the fact that she was not comfortable with. I have done for 30 years but she chose what she felt comfortable with the outcome was not positive. I was not looking for a free hair color. I was looking for what I asked for and what I have received for 30 years and other salons. The cashier spoke with a manager and did not charge me for the service. Again, I was not looking for a free service. It is now five days later and I thought the manager would've contacted me to see what they could've done better. The manager never called, this prompted me to write a review because communication is key in customer service. I am not going to fault the girl who did my hair color because that is the right thing to do. The manager should've stepped in to find a way to better way to serve their customers. I would've better respected the salon if the hairdresser would've been honest and said she is not comfortable using that type of Lyft. Then I could've made a decision to continue with the service. But instead, she did what she thought was better and the outcome was not at all what I expected. read more

I visited here in May 2015 to treat myself upon graduation. It left much to be desired. I did the bathtub soak followed by a massage, followed by a facial, followed by a style for my hair. I spent SO much money. The massage was terrible and I left feeling like I had wasted my money. It did not feel like a spa. They seemed more concerned about shipping you off to your next appointment than allowing me to relax. The facial came with basically a marketing talk the whole time trying to sell products. I liked Kim in early March. However, after quarantine, I showed up with my kids in early May and because I didn't have a lot of options... they turned me away. I didn't know this wasn't ok... but absolutely not a problem. We're all making it work. I showed up alone 2 weeks later for my rescheduled appointment... and my lady wasn't ready. 10 minutes. Ok I'll wait in my car. At 15 minutes I went in and asked. "She's almost ready" I said "I'm taking time off of work for this. She needs to get it together" I waited right outside the door for another 8 minutes. At this point I'm 23 minutes over my appointment time. Not ok. I left. I won't be back. By the look of it, this salon is very new. I came here in a wreck because my previous salon cancelled my appointment after I was already there. (Bombshells- don't go there) and they were very accommodating. My stylist was Abby and she was very attentive and made sure to go through pictures with me and really made an effort to understand what I was wanting. I came in with split ends, box dyed black hair with dirty blonde roots grown out 2-3 inches, and left with shoulder length ashy blonde hair with beautiful natural-looking highlights. I am thrilled. My boyfriend couldn't stop looking at me..he loves the look. Give this salon a chance. They won't let you down. read more

Can I give 6 stars? I love this spa. I am beyond impressed with their staff & facility. Recently my mom and I decided to treat ourselves to a girl's spa day. We received facials, massages & pedicures. A total of six women worked on us that day...each one amazing, professional and proficient. My mom and I both agreed they were the best facials, massages and pedicures we had ever had! Note: we are women who know what a good spa day is. We decided to sign up for their monthly membership program so we can do monthly treatments at a discounted cost. This is a very clean, and professionally operated hair salon with plenty to offer. I arrived around 3:30 as a walk-in to get a trim and was greeted wholesomely by the woman up front. New guest registration was straightforward and simple, with almost immediate service from the available stylist. I believe her name was Jasmine; she did a fantastic job and kept a sincere attitude that made getting a haircut a treat rather than a chore. The pricing was what I'd expect for a haircut & shampoo wash. My brothers and father purchased the Rejuvenate Package for my mom for her birthday. I am in California and made the choice to use The Rain Tree based on reviews and services offered. When I called and spoke to Josie I told her it was for my mom's birthday and that after caring for her sick sister for a long time she needed some care herself. When I called to confirm and speak to the manager about my mom's services Jamie was amazing too. Everyone cared for her so well.
