Our gutters were installed on 11/21. There's too much to write about our experience with Rain Master. It started off just fine but after the work was done is when the trouble started. It's 12/11 and the job is still not complete. The workers left a huge mess since they finished when it was pitch black outside. My wife and I spent an hour walking our driveway for nails and debris. We found about 2 dozen spread around our driveway, walkway and neighbors driveway. They did come back and clean everything up very well, though. There seems to be a lack of communication between Doug and the workers. He said they had the plans but the guys had no idea where we wanted the downspouts. I had to tell them exactly how we wanted them. A couple gutters were installed wrong as well and leaked badly after the first time it rained. We're still waiting for Doug to come finish the job and collect the money. I guess it's good we haven't had rain in awhile. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. Every aspect of my experience with this company was horrible. Once we paid a deposit to replace our gutters and they removed our old gutters, I couldn't get in touch with the project manager Doug. He was flakey, wouldn't answer his phone or return calls, multiple times he said he was going to drop off samples and he didn't show up. We had no gutters for about 6 weeks in the rainiest winter we've had in years. When my husband got involved, we got a better response, which really pisses me off. Once the gutters were finally installed, the work was shoddy and it looked like a homeowner's DIY project. Caulking was sloppy and dripping, a couple of the downspouts looked wonky, they drilled into our brick without clearing it with us. Nails were sticking out where they nailed on the gutters and they inserted a wood shimmy on a downspout right on the front porch because the downspout wasn't installed correctly. Doug was so unorganized he has his crew ask for payment but they didn't have an invoice for me and didn't know the amount due, so they spend 10 minutes trying to get him on the phone so he can email me an invoice. When I finally got it, it was totally incorrect and he overcharged me by several hundred dollars. He didn't deducted the $200 deposit I had paid, and the $50 credit for his crew breaking our garden lights. I had to spend another 10-15 minutes looking for his original big and calculating the correct amount. We called them out twice to fix the issues, and finally realized it was as good as it was going to get. I just wanted to be done with this company and cut our loses. Save yourself some stress and find another company. I can't say one good thing about this company. I have pictures but Yelp isn't letting me post them. Wow good business gone BAD. Had this company install gutters on a rental a couple years ago. Fair price, good communication, quick quality service. Not sure what has happened but have been trying to get my gutters cleaned for the past 6 weeks. Received an email saying they wanted to get it scheduled that week, I said yes please but never heard back. Called 3 weeks later, Doug said his guys told him they did it, apologized and would have it done within the next couple days. NOPE called a week later, again he said his guys keep telling him it's been done. He ask me to give him 6 more days, he was going to do it himself to make sure it got done. On the evening of the 6th day I received a call from one of his guys to scheduled it for the next day at 9ish. Just got home and guess what, YEP they were a NO SHOW. WOW just WOW! read more

Unfortunately, this is NOT a good review. I agree with the other reviewers- if Doug is the only person who can call people back, make decisions, etc, then they need another person. I understand they are very busy, but my project (which I assumed to be pretty easy since it was just a clean up project) took over 3 months to complete. That also only happened because I called Doug and the office EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. If I didn't call for my estimate, my install/clean date, when they didnt show up that date, to complete the work, to get another completion date, to do the final walk-through and to give the payment, I dont think this would have EVER happened. Sorry- but I would not recommend this company. The only star they get is because Doug seemed genuinely apologetic about the whole situation. Look elsewhere for the project if you can as a consumer. read more

I don't usually write reviews like this but I was very pleased with Vlad and his team. I'm creating a Yelp account because of the great job. Vlad was very professional, he called me back right away and came out the next morning to give me a quote. And when I didn't call back after a few days, he followed up with a phone call. I had 3 other places I had called, no phone call, just an apology from "Home Advisor," apologizing on behalf of the other person that never followed up. They came in, took down the old gutters, installed the new, took away the old material and swept all around the house for any debris that came out of the old gutters. I'm reading these other reviews as I type, not sure who Doug is but Vlad is the guy to call, I had a completely different experience. read more

Doug and crew replaced our gutters today. They did an excellent job! I'm so happy with the product and the service. We were given a very reasonable estimate, and the gutter and downspouts were very professionally installed. They even added an extra downspout so we would have better drainage. DO NOT use this company. I paid $1,000.00 for gutters that were not installed properly and do not work. I have called, emailed and no response. My next step is Small Claims Court to get my money back. I have videos of water pouring OVER the gutters and NOT INTO them, water running in between the gutter and fascia which will lead to dry rot quickly. As another reviewer stated they left nails and trash everywhere. Save yourself! read more

Had 3 companies give me an estimate and Rain Masters were very competitive. I gave them the job because of efficiency in coming out for estimate plus how very courteous estimator was. Job was completed in a timely manor with crew going above and beyond what was promised. These folks care about their reputation and certainly deserve the five stars I have given them. read more

I had new rain gutters put in by Juan and Sebastian from Rain Master. They did a fantastic job, very happy with their work. A word of caution about this company-Rain Master the company does not carry workmanship compensation insurance. When I called them before allowing Juan to start the work, I was informed that they run the payroll through another company called Exterior Experts, different phone and Contractor's number. If you use Rain Master, make sure that they give you the contract under Exterior Experts, license number 957964, otherwise the workers are not covered and you will be held liable as a home owner for any potential injuries. Never use a contractor that does not carry workmans comp insurance. You can easily check the license status under the California contractors license board. Do that for every contractor you hire. Just check workmans comp insurance status. If it says exempt, they are NOT covered. read more
