I stayed here for two weeks while on placement at the hospital which was only a 10 minute walk away, so it was very convenient. Also, I live in Dublin and came via train and the station is right next to this place (hence the name) so from a location point of view this B&B is fantastic.
The owners are very nice friendly, they let us use the kitchen and we also go a whole fridge in a room near the dining room to put our food in, which was great as most B&Bs I've stayed in don't allow the use of the kitchen. It's very well maintained and beautifully decorated, and rooms are quite big and spacious. I got a king size bed in my room, but there are twin double bed rooms and regular double bed rooms as well. The bathroom is on the small and narrow side but the shower is nice and hot. The lighting in rooms is not too bright, although there are side lamps and mirror lights. The heating is not the best in the rooms as I came in January, but there is a storage heater and an electric timed heater. The rooms also have an iron, hair dryer, towels and soap.
Breakfast is nice and they usually prepare most things. They have a range of cereals like Weetabix, Cornflakes and Muesli, toast, eggs (any way done), baked beans, yoghurts, Actimel drinks, juices, tea/ coffee etc.
Overall, a centrally located homely and well equipped B&B that allows the use of the kitchen.
