I was more than happy to run to Yelp to provide an update to my previous review. Me and a group of friends and I stayed at one of Raileys newer properties, Wispering Rapids. This property was honestly one of the most amazing Deep Creek properties I have ever stayed in. The house was So new and so clean. You could just smell the newness and cleanliness of the property upon exiting. Definitely a breath of fresh air, as most of the other home in the area are in need of some updates. The house had a total of six bedrooms and all of the rooms had their own bathrooms! That's a rare find for these vacation homes. The living room, dining room and kitchen areas were massive, allowing everyone to engage with one another while we cooked our meals. The deck held a large hot tub, with a fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating which provided another large location for myself and my guests to socialize. My one gripe, I wish the team had did a better job with shoveling after the recent snowfall. The driveway, walkways and the porch had quite an accumulation of fallen snow, making it both difficult and scary to walk on. Other than that, this was a much better experience than the last.

That bag stayed on the front porch for the duration of our stay. Then, right after we arrive, a man comes to the door and said he was expecting the owner as he was here to fix a few things. We were in the middle of unloading so we let him in. He was in the house about 30 minutes. We don't know what he repaired... We arrived New Years Eve and didn't try the hot tub that night as we celebrated New Years. The next morning we awakened to six inches of fresh snow and no snow shovel. We had to borrow a neighbors! After shoveling the path to the hot tub and clearing the front porch and some back deck space, another gentleman knocked on the door. This gentleman informed us he was there to drain, clean, and refill the hot tub. He said no one had cleaned it in a month and the water was green. So no hot tub that day or evening.... We then discover that two burners on the stove were malfunction and the garbage disposal didn't work. We tried to call the Property Management company, but they were closed because it is New Years Day. My stepson spent about an hour repairing the garbage disposal and found someone had put a screw in there. The next morning, we try to call the Property Management company again but after being on hold for a while, it pushed us to voicemail. We left a message and it took two hours to call us back. When we received the callback, we reported all the problems we encountered. She offered to send someone to repair the burners on the stove and we declined, choosing not to have a third service call in three days. She told us their company meets once a week to discuss renter issue and to determine if any compensation was appropriate. A week later, we were notified that we were not entitled to any recourse because we didn't open any work orders. There were two work orders processed while we were there and we self rescued the rest because we didn't want more strangers interrupting our family holiday. We will be back in Deep Creek next New Uears but will go back to AirBNB. By the way, I posted this same review a few days ago on the Raileys site and it disappeared. my review disappeared. I wonder how many other less than favorable reviews they have removed...on the Raileys site, this house only had five star reviews.

I guess since we weren't that"million" dollar mansion embarrassing thought it would be OK just to send whom ever through the house just to work on it. Shoot one contractor put Trim paint on the wall instead of flat paint From the start I asked that Chip keep the communication flowing and we would be a ok. Well, we were not. The were small mistakes like putting the air conditioner unit was on the wrong side of the house. Yep, they had drilled right through the concrete wall on the wrong side. To top it all off, we went by Chip's office and they had no clue it happened. We were the ones to inform of the mistake. In fact, the brother drove over to see for himself. Then the mistake just kept coming from there. I don't think they know how to put in a pole barn/garage or maybe it was there first because they put the roof on backwards and it leaks. The house was built in 2019 and they still haven't fixed all of the repairs. We had some leaky windows in the pole barn/garage and it took forever to fix it. They kept telling us it was condensation. I'm not sure if it's laziness or they just don't know what's going on. They had to redo the paint on the master bedroom ceiling and I don't know what paint they used, but it's all chipping off. You will find walls that have not been painted. They still have putty all over them. The carpeting was put in wrong. There's a seam that runs right in the middle of the hallway and it is coming up. In the in the master closet, the carpet looks like they put a rag on the carpet that had English coat on it because there's a circle that looks like a rag layer on it. It's much lighter shade. The first time we went to see the house just to see how it was going. We looked through the windows, because we couldn't get in and then in the dining room there was carpet when we weren't supposed to have carpet that was a big red flag. The contractors were always showing up at the door and asking us what they should be working on next. Instead of asking Humberson what they should be working on for the day. I have tons and tons and tons of stuff that went wrong with this house. The house turned out to be a beautiful place because me and my husband have worked five years on it by ourselves. And yes, by the way, they still owe us many things that they still haven't fixed and we still bug them about once a month, I would say. When we remember to bug them about coming over to finish the items that they still owe us and they say OK we're gonna make your appointment and put you on the books then we never hear from them. Bathroom clearly not cleaned between guests, hair on floor, mouse droppings behind all furniture throughout the house.. We had to clean the comforter as they were badly soiled, but had to clean the washer and dryer first to clean bedding. This place has really gone down hill over the years. They do not show the shower/bath in photos, and most photos are very old online(not current). The shower has multiple holes in it, just filled poorly with caulk and plenty of mold. Did not appear to be dusted in months as well. Called and spoke to owners and rental management. Both apologized and stated they would take care of it and reimburse us appropriately. Guess what, been 4 weeks with no response from them. That is plenty of time. Will not use again.
