Their boot selection is amazing with some of the best brands and craftsmanship available. They are not cheap, but you're paying for quality and a gorgeous pair. They have a nice collection of hats from reasonably-priced to really high end and expensive. It depends on what you're looking for. Lots of clothing to check out as well: from western shirts to rugged jackets and jeans. They have many accessories as well (buckles, belts, spurs, bolo ties, etc.) I kind of want to buy everything in the store. The staff is really knowledgeable, helpful, and they all support each other. The owner is a nice guy, a gentleman, and a cowboy. It's a great store. If you're looking for your next line dancing fit or what you need for Stagecoach, this is where you need to go. It's a piece of SFV history & I hope they're around for many more years to come.

When I walked in, there were no other customers, but I was not greeted or helped until I awkwardly approached the employees myself and explained what I needed. The service felt cold and unwelcoming, which was disappointing, especially for a store where customers may need guidance putting together a full look. I also later found the boots I purchased, which were priced around $900 here, typically retail for closer to $500 elsewhere. I understand markups happen, especially in specialty stores, but that kind of difference felt excessive. I only purchased everything because I was under time pressure and needed the outfit for an event. Had I had more time, I would not have chosen to shop here. Overall, the selection may be useful in a pinch, but the pricing and customer service left a lot to be desired.

Called and spoke to Jay, who assured me he would get the order processed before closing (which was 30 minutes away.) He worked with me to get expedited shipping. Great service for a $20 item! This is the type of service I wish every company delivered. Oh, and did I mention when I called a real, helpful person (Jay) answered the phone?

I spoke with a salesman named Curtis and carefully confirmed that two specific items -- one for me and one for my husband -- were in stock. I explained that this was a long drive involving two freeways and that we did not want to waste the trip. About twenty minutes later, I called again and spoke with the owner/manager because we would have been driving during rush hour traffic that evening. He assured me it was "no problem" to hold the items until the following day and confirmed that Curtis had already set them aside for us. The next day, after making the long drive, Curtis brought out the wrong item entirely. When I reminded him that I had specifically described exactly what we wanted, he tried to steer me toward a completely different product instead. Then he admitted to his boss that the item I wanted had already been sold. This was inconsiderate, unprofessional, and a complete waste of our time, effort, and gasoline. If a store agrees to hold merchandise for customers -- especially customers making a significant trip -- they should honor that commitment. Very aggravating experience. Honestly, we would have been better off ordering from Amazon.
