About twenty minutes later, I called again and spoke with the owner/manager because we would have been driving during rush hour traffic that evening. He assured me it was "no problem" to hold the items until the following day and confirmed that Curtis had already set them aside for us. The next day, after making the long drive, Curtis brought out the wrong item entirely. When I reminded him that I had specifically described exactly what we wanted, he tried to steer me toward a completely different product instead. Then he admitted to his boss that the item I wanted had already been sold. This was inconsiderate, unprofessional, and a complete waste of our time, effort, and gasoline. If a store agrees to hold merchandise for customers -- especially customers making a significant trip -- they should honor that commitment. Very aggravating experience. Honestly, we would have been better off ordering from Amazon.
